Nothing

The hotel is completely different from what you see from priceline. The picture they put is a complete fraud. I booked a 'standard double room', it turns out to be a 'single room', which only has one full bed. the room is only 10 squar

The room they provide is completely different from what they describe on the internet. The 'standard double room with shared bath room' has only one full bed. The room is very small, it at the best is a 'single room'. Since they refuse to return my money back, I have to spend another --- dollars to upgrade to a real double room. The double room is extremely hot without air condition and window. You can clearly hear the noise from neighbors. I spend --- dollar to spend one night at such a horrible room.

Only the location, next to the tourist attractions

Unfriendly, too small, dirty, even for pets it's too small, too humid. Tv not working even if you ask the staff, sheet dirty and definitely TOO SMALL with the heater incredible HOT. In the smaller room you can't definitely stay more than one night !!

Even if this hotel is one of the less expensive in the City, the price is VERY expensive for the prestation that you can have ! I really don't recommend this hotel to anyone !

the smell is bad; the staff required me extra money for the room when I am checking in. But he mentioned nothing about the extra room charge when I arrived early in the morning; the room is dirty with bugs.

hotel cheats customer with low price but require more when we arrives. as it is not refundable, the clients have to pay as much as they required and their attitude is really bad. the room is dirty and is not as they described at all.

Great hidden gem in Chinatown. The rooms are clean and well-equipped, the staff are friendly, and the views from the rooftop bar are in incredible. Would definitely stay here again.

No complaints, it was perfect.

It was very clean and up to date.

Car had to be parked a couple of blocks away so convenience was a small issue. Plus having to pay for it but it is NYC after all.

Approaching the hotel's loading zone from the opposite side of street was very difficult. We ended up trying to make a U-turn by way of the Manhattan Bridge which did not work out. We finally parked on the opposite side of the hotel, took our luggage and left it for the valet service to figure out for us. Perhaps hotel directions could give directions as to how to get to the hotel coming in from the opposite direction. We didn't want to drive to Manhattan but this trip we had some items we could not carry on the bus. Wish that staff had told us ahead of time that it would take at least 1/2 hour to get our car back from the valet service.

The staff was helpful.

The hotel itself.

When we opened the hotel room door, we were greeted by a multitude of mystery stains all over the carpet. The entire floor was a mess. Upon entering the room, we noticed blood stains on the walls. Yes, blood drips on the walls. Pulling back the allegedly freshly-washed sheets, we found hairs on the sheets. It was by far the most disgusting room I have ever been in my entire life. We called the front desk who did offer us the next room over, which at least did not have blood on the walls. The room and carpet were in better shape, but I did find hairs on the bathroom towels. The location during the day is ok, but at night not safe to walk around and certainly not by yourself. The room was disgusting.

Good parking and nice breakfast.

Originally when I booked the room I asked for a handicap room with two beds and when we got there they did have a handicapped room but there was only one bed.

They were able to oblige us by getting us a foldaway bed for the second night.

Brand new property

Rooms are small & location is not particularly convenient for Manhattan sight-seeing

Excellent value for $. I have paid 3x more for lesser quality rooms in Manhattan. I definitely would not recommend this property to a 1st time visutor due to its location tucked deep within Chinatown. But if you know your way around Manhattan, this place is a very budget-friendly option. Rooms are very clean albeit small. Not good for a family with suitcases but just fine for an individual or couple with carry-on bags. Great for staying 1-2 quick nights.

The location was close to the marriage bureau!

There were some young guys with skate boards hanging out in the small lobby, sitting on the only comfortable furniture. They left their skateboards in the middle of the area and the management did not move them or seem to care that they were there.

I loved the location in Chinatown. It was a nice area right in front of a park. Made you feel like you were out of the hustle and bustle while only being a street away.

The only complaint was that the free breakfast they offered with your stay was not very good. You go to a restaurant 4 doors down. The staff in the restaurant were really nice, it was just that the food not good.

Hotel Mulberry was a decent hotel in the heart of Chinatown. It doesn't have a lot of frills but the price more than makes up for it. The staff were very nice and helpful and the room was very comfortable and clean. I would recommend staying there and trying something different from the midtown experience.

Prices are either the average per night price per room or first night of stay. You can select to display the prices with or without our estimate of taxes & fees (which may not appear on provider's booking page but will be charged at hotel checkout). Before you complete your reservation, verify the total cost on the provider's site. Prices and availability are not guaranteed.

Here's why:

We’re not the seller
At KAYAK we don’t set prices, so it’s not possible for us to guarantee what other companies are selling.

We aggregate tons of data for you
Our service lets you quickly and easily compare results from hundreds of travel sites at once. In this sense, KAYAK is a search engine and we don't guarantee prices we find.

Why aren’t prices accurate 100% of the time?
Prices on airline seats, hotel rooms and car rentals can change frequently. Several people may also be trying to buy the same travel option simultaneously. As a result, you may find on occasion that certain prices are no longer available.
