The Wyndham New Yorker I a large hotel on the south side of Midtown West that attracts a healthy mix of business and leisure travelers, but the past is more alluring than its present.

The New Yorker is located eight blocks from one of the busiest intersections in the world, at 42nd and Broadway in Times Square. The physical location is on 8th Avenue, between 34th and 35th Streets, and only one block from one of the busiest train stations in the country, Penn Station. Despite its convenient location, the hotel is significantly less touristed and considered to locals at the Garment District. It’s within walking distance to plenty of popular sites including Times Square, the Empire State Building, the New York Public Library, Bryant Park, and Madison Square Garden.

Amenities on-site at the New Yorker include a fitness center, 24-hour business center, and meeting facilities for business travelers. It boasts of two restaurants, an Italian dining option open for lunch and dinner and a 24-hour diner offering a 50’s-era theme. Local dining options are in every direction, including the adventurous Koreatown. New York City offers three nearby airports, JFK, LaGuardia, and Newark. Each airport is 30-to-90 minutes from the hotel, plus offers shuttles and limos to the airport straight from the hotel.
