Great Place For Broadway
Comfortable beds, clean room, beautiful lobby, friendly and helpful staff. Location was great for seeing a show. Plenty of places to eat in the area.
There was a fee for the food delivery that was unknown to us. Probably should use the phrase "no-fees on the card.

The complimentary umbrella for use while staying in the hotel came in very handy! The location is pretty close to a lot of famous landmarks. The onsite restaurant has a great selection and is fairly priced for NYC, I felt.
They cut my internet connection the morning I was going to check out. So that's 4 hours I was paying for internet that I didn't get. The room felt smaller than the pictures. There's a $21 facilities fee for every day.
I liked the location of the hotel. It was situated right in the heart of Times Square and very convenient to access by the MTA.
I didn't like how I was treated by the staff. I felt that they weren't very accommodating at all even though I explained numerous times that I was traveling with a guest that had a serious medical condition and that we needed to check in early. I called ahead and informed them of our request but the manager that I spoke with was very rude and dismissive. They also put us in a very unsightly room with a broken heater unit that would randomly turn on in the middle of the night. I would definitely not recommend this place to anyone.
TV and internet were down our entire stay. Our first room had a dirty sock in it and the heater made a terrible noise that kept us up all night. The front desk staff did change our room. Hassle free. The line to wait to the front desk is slow moving

Hotel looks like a stale, old bathroom equipment, there is no bar and restaurant in the hotel; standard rooms windows overlook the courtyard, or rather, the windows of another wing of the hotel, the constant noise of ventilation and construction equipment is under the windows. Of the six elevators only two operate in this multistory building. On the day of departure, I was late for the shuttle, since at least 15 minutes wait for the elevator to come down with luggage - only one elevator was operating! Reception explained that the hotel is in the process of reconstruction. But there was not warning about this on the site! Very disappointed!

Extremely small bathroom with no ventilation. Walls are thin. Could here everything going on outside like the windows we open even though they weren't. No dresser to put clothes in. Very basic. Loud air conditioner. Laundry facilities would help a lot! Took forever to get an elevator bc they were always full. St Front desk staff not so friendly. Conceirse service not useful at all. Didn't even try to help us figure out things to do. Very disappointed.
Hotel Edison is a beautiful, modern hotel situated right in the heart of downtown New York City. Visitors to the Big Apple will relish this top-end art deco hotel as it is within walking distance of Broadway and Times Square. The Edison has three different room types: Classic, Signature, and Suite. The Suites are the largest of the rooms with the most amenities as well. These amenities include high-speed Wi-Fi, complimentary newspapers, Keurig coffee makers, Frette linens, C.O. Bigelow bath amenities, mini fridge, and a crisp 42" LCD flat screen HDTV. All of the rooms can be reserved in either one or two-bed configurations depending on how many guests will be there for the duration of the stay.
