Nice, but could be better
I stayed at the Ramee Rose for about a week, and overall it was mostly clean, but it could've been cleaner. The staff was nice enough, although sometimes they seemed a bit aloof. The hotel was located within walking distance of some supermarkets, so it was easy to get cereals and other groceries. I also really enjoyed the view of the street, even though it was busy and it may not be for everyone. On my checkout day, since my flight was much later on in the evening, I wanted to stay a few extra hours and they allowed me to do so. I was also able to use the hotel's basement parking facilities, which was very convenient for my rented car.
The bathroom was a bit of a concern, as the shower curtain definitely needed to be changed because it was dirty. The toilet was also leaking during my entire stay, and nobody from maintenance tried to fix it. There is an Indian restaurant on the ground floor of the hotel, and at night, the pungent smells of the restaurant would travel upwards to my room, which was not so pleasant, even though I'm sure the restaurant was good. Also, I found that if I switched the air-conditioning off (as the weather was really nice and it was not always necessary to have it on) then the room would start to smell badly, as if that of dirty laundry. The comforter beneath the sheets was also not in such god shape, and the mattress was a little hard. I may just be an overly clean person, but these are just some things I noticed.
