The room was great one of the most beautiful rooms I have ever been! The bed was easily the most comfortable as were the pillows. The bathroom was the best bathroom I have ever been and the a/c was so perfectly installed it was very nice to have during the night. The design of the room was very clever and all appliances installed were perfectly matched. Last but not least the staff was more than helpful, the woman at the cafeteria offered to even prepare something that was not on the menu! A wonderful experience!
The inclusive breakfast was amazing!
excellent staff, art deco rooms design, very spacious rooms, provide towells for beach, 5min drive from Naxos best beach of Ag. Prokopios bigger TV screen in rooms, rooms wireless internet
My stay in this hotel was the perfect getaway. Beautifully located almost on the beach in a stunning seaside town approx 6km from Naxos. It took about 1 minute to get from my bed to the sun lounger on the beach! The staff were friendly and attentive especially Maria whose client care was superb. A real find for the next time I need to get away to re-charge and as a single traveller I felt very comfortable here. I stayed in September which was perfect but apparently it gets very busy in August and might lose some of its charm.
nice and huge studio, fully equipped for cook, close to the village and the beautifull beach ag.anna
Very friendly and helpful staff. Good breakfast. Clean and fresh looking rooms, with a spacious balcony. Walking distace to nice and clean beaches we prefered Plaka beach, and to nice restaurants in the evenings. During the hottest part of the day the walk to the beach could seems a bit too long. Though it tooks only 10 minutes
Quiet surroundings, 500m from beach, nice friendly pool area, excellent breakfast, room with a view, small kitchen in the room for lunch and smal meals, balcony with a view. This comment is general for Naxos, not just the hotel: I don't moskitoes, but they like me, be sure to bring "anti" moskito creame and spray to repair the moskito bites.
Enjoyed our stay but a noticable lack of information about the Hotel and its surroundings.Good breakfast provided but watch out for chairs washed by gardener just prior to breakfast !
The hotel was a short walk to the beach. The room was clean and had everything we needed, and the pool area was nice. For the price, we would stay here again without a doubt. There were a lot of mosquitos inside the room upon arriving because of a space under the door. Bring repellent! There is no reception, and we had to pay cash in the morning when (the cleaning lady, I believe?) came to the room to collect it. But, paying cash is common around the islands.
Friendly atmosphere. Very convenient for all the resort facilities whilst being quiet. All staff and owner were very helpful and friendly. Beds were not comfortable, especially the pillows. AC had a mind of its own!
Really nice small hotel, with well kept buildings and swimming pool. It is maybe a 5 minute walk from the Agia Anna beach and even though it's not directly at the seafront we did enjoy being able to retreat to the relaxing quiet of the hotel.
The staff was very friendly and the hotel atmosphere was very laid back.
Owner very Friendly and helpfull and very caring. The Hotel is much further from the beach as indicated on the website.
Our room was clean and very nice with a wonderful view of the Naxos sunset. Breakfast was great and the hotel's host was a true delight who made our stay memorable and enjoyable.
I loved everything, the warm welcome, the beautiful property and the extremely helpful and knowledgeable staff. Definitely the best of my stay in Greece. Nothing - just note to call ahead if you want a free transfer from the Port. We walked though, and its not a long walk.
Nicolette and her staff were amazing. Very hospitable and she went out of her way to make us welcome and to be helpful. We were given a choice of rooms, advice on the island and she phoned the airline to arrange for delivery of our baggage when Olympic air lost it. This is how hotels should be run. Nothing. It exceeded our expectations.
good staff, free transfers to/from the ferry, free use of computer walking back at night on the road
World class family run hotel. Customer service exceptional. Best hotel in Greek Isles.
Grotta is a lovely hotel in a perfect location. The staff was helpful, kind, accommodating, and made me feel like family.
Nicoletta was so welcoming and her breakfast was so terrific - so many home made dishes!
Vaggelis (the proprietor) took care of everything! Breakfast, car rental, laundry, internet access, great location.
good location, close to beach, friendly helpful staff, We really enjoyed this pretty little hotel. Should have been clear on washing machine situation. They have one for the hotel, but sounded like there was one in the room. Not a big problem though.
The family running the hotel is exceptionally pleasent and accommodating. The rooms are well-priced, large, clean, and comfortable. I would stay here again without giving a second thought.
Friendly staff and good location
Owner was very welcoming and helpful. Nice atmosphere, relaxed. Close to beach.
Very nice staff, good location.
really friendly and helpful staff, nice swimming pool, clean spacious room with balcony, close to the beach and a selection of tavernas, all in all good value for money, and a lovely family break.
You will not regret staying at Agios Prokopios Hotel. I have never felt more welcomed at a hotel than here. Vaggelis & Effie are some of the nicest people we've met in Greece and really did absolutely everything to make sure we had a great time during our vacation. Our group (6 people) stayed 3 nights here, but really wanted to extend our stay.
The proprietors/owners are very friendly, accommodating, speak good English, and are well organized. The room was comfortable, entirely adequate, but not luxury, and opened out both sides on to a lovely central area with clean pool, and charming courtyard garden on the other. We found the hotel quiet, a very short walk from the beach and restaurants. If you enjoy privacy, you may feel a bit 'over-looked' here. The buffet breakfast was OK, but lacked variety, and while you won't go hungry, it was not great quality - plus you may get bored of the same things every day. However, there are options in walking distance if you want to opt out.
The staff was very helpful, the hotel was beautiful, and the location near the beach was perfect.
It's a nice hotel close (pretty much on) the beach and with a great pool area. Room was a nice size had a good view of the beach/water. Nice walking distance to Naxos Chora along the beach as well. If you really want a double (rather than a twin) you should phone them and specify - even if you put it on the booking.com request. There are some poorer rooms as wel, like above the kitchen so it pays to phone ahead.
quitness of this hotel, good staf and good breakfast. no
fantastic location disappointed with the standard of the room, expected better.
The hotel had a great quiet location. Ten minute walk to town. Pool and grounds were great. Excellent value. Beds hard like most of the Greek hotels I have stayed at. I highly recommend this hotel. Best value by far of my six Greek hotels I stayed at. See above. Firmness of the beds. Front desk help could have been warmer.
The place was perfect! Great staff, very nice food. The room was wonderful, great view and great accomodation. I definitly reccomend!!
It is just like home. The boss is so kind and prepares great breakfast, she also send and recieve us from the port many times. The location is also very good, close to the beautiful beach. It is like a villa when look from outside.
We loved having lots of space with a separate bedroom. Voula (manager) is wonderful and so accommodating. The views are lovely, and the pool is large and very nice. There's little traffic noise. Breakfast is delicious, especially Voula's homemade grape preserves with yogurt. It's a ways to walk to the beach, but we had a car so it wasn't a problem for us.
Size of room, layout of facilities, great pool, access to beach and town, information and friendlinliess of hosts and staff, lovely grounds, impeccabliy clean. ac. bujffet breakfast advertised was served not choice but good but motonenos.
Voula lived up to her on-line reputation....a wonderful hostess...even bought us pastries...smart woman. We had the place to ourselves....LOVED The pool and enjoyed walking to several nearby beaches. a perfect way to end a great trip....lovely to have a bathtub. Would highly recommend! No complaints!
Everything about our accommodation was exceptional. We had a very roomy apartment which we very much enjoyed. Cannot think of one single we didn't like.
As others have commented, Voula is what makes this place special. Trips to the town and back, free refreshments all day, wonderful views, spotless, lovely pool, everything done with a smile....the place is fantastic. We just loved it. Within 3 minutes of making the booking Voula had provided details of the port pick-up! I told her by mail that we were returning after 25 years, having been in Naxos on honeymoon. Well, Voula had decorated our room with rose petals, like a honeymoon suite!. Just one of the many little touches that she does for everyone, all week long. If you want a home away from home, book Naxos Kalimera. Can't wait to return.
It was very familiar and the hostess was very service minded
The apartments were very comfortable and clean. The kids really enjoyed the swimming pool. The two persons responsible for Naxos Kalimera (namely, Voula and Apostolis) really care about their customers. We recommend this hotel without any hesitation.
Everything! The View, The Friendly Staff, The Rooms, The Location, The Pool
