The private beach was lovely, sea very clean and the facilities were great and the location was really good. The food was ok. This is not a 5 star hotel, more like a 3 star, we had very basic rooms, dimly lit and without a minibar and the bathroom looked tired. We were not allowed water with our meal being on Half Board which we were surprised about and we had to beg for tap water with our meal. Apparently it did not include even soft drinks with your dinner, it was not that clear to us. The staff were not very happy at Reception and we had to call 2 times for housekeeping and our room was miles away from the main part of the hotel.
The quality of the hotel is in general very good. Easy access to the beach, 2 good fresh water pools and 1 excelent sea water pool. The food at all restaurants is very good. The staff is very friendly providing a good atmosphere to the hotel. The all inclusive package needs to be improved. In comparison with other European locations it is too limited for a 5 star hotel.
excellent hotel cant really fault it, especially the day time bar staff. the night bar staff were not hospitable and rude.
We liked the nice, clean area of the hotel, nice beach with easy descent into the sea, nice staff and good food. The hotel sometimes celebrate a wedding, it hurt a little rest (loud music until 2 am).
Marbella Beach is a huge 5-star hotel on the eastcoast of Corfu next to the sea. Taxi from the airport takes about 20min and cost ~30Euro. If you're looking for awesome views this is the place to be. Almost everywhere you have breathtaking views over the sea and the Albanian mountains. The staf is very friendly and serviceminded even if some of them don't say much. Marbella have an artificial private beach built with nice sand and sunchairs. The water is very clear if you like to dive. The food was OK but not the best. Lucky they had many choices so you always found something to eat. Our room had a great terrass with a wonderful view but there where also rooms with bad locations. You can go to Corfu town by bus (cost 3Euro for 2 ppl). The diningterras had a great location but we could not use it because of the bies. They where eveywhere and searched for food so we had to sit inside. The beds where rockhard and the room wasn't close to 5-star even if some hotelareas was really nice (I guess that is how Greece is). The rooms where also very loudy. We went for the Halfboard (not all-inclusive) and the problem here was that drinks wasn't included in the dinner so we had to pay extra. Even for the water. Another problem was the sunchairs on the beach, we had to wake up about 7.30AM to put our towels on the chairs to get one. After 8 AM there was no more space. Mostly russians so we didn't spoke with many people but I think for the money and the location the hotel was worth it
The staff was friendly and helpful. The pools were clean. Many activities were offered for family entertainment, such as archery and darts. The food was delicious and varied for different palates.
This hotel was a fantastic value for money and we enjoyed the comfortable lounges and the large private beach. Staff members were excellent- helpful and pleasant always. We appreciated the opportunity to relax at the hotel bars some nights rather than seek out expensive pubs or restaurants elsewhere. The rooms were too hot- the airconditioning was too weak and we were sweating in the room all the time. Also, our room was overlooking the entertainment venue, which was playing (really) loud music most nights until 11-12. However, this wasn't a huge deal and I would still recommend this hotel, although perhaps with a room away from the stage.
The view was beautiful from the main building and from the room. The rooms were not nice at all. Horrible beds and really old nasty comforter with sand in the sheets. The restaurant is just a self serve cafeteria with food that reminded me of public school lunch. The room smelled and was ancient with an old crapy tube TV and no DVD or even a VHS player. No chain locks on the doors.. the maid walked in as she kind of knocked at a very inappropriate time. The beach is concrete with old busted up lounges. The bartenders have no idea how to make a drink at all and i mean the ones on the list. The pools were cloudy and dirty. I left for every meal and stayed off the property as much as possible to avoid the hotel during my stay.
good food, good public transportation to town with bus stop righ in front of the hotel, nice landscaping room high on the hill, too much uphill walking from the main building,no fresh towels on sundays
Comfortable rooms, great pool facilities for the kids, and compliments to the chef and staff great food and efficient friendly service.
Wery nice staff , perefct food and drinks / all inclusive /, in fact hotel on the beach / 2 min. walking/, we will recomend this hotel for enjoyable summer vacation
It was in a nice area close to the beach and shops and yet elevated with views and nature behind, the room was very nice and comfortable and very well priced and Georgio the owner was a very nice guy. no
The location of the apartments is very good, very central and the hill not too steep. It is a shame that the pool hasn't been completed. When it is eventually finished it will be an amazing place to stay.
Free wi-fi, private parking which is something important in the small and slopy village of Agios Gordios, tv (despite there were only 5 channels available).Quiet at night. Place was not clean - towels were stained and old and there were also other issues with the cleanliness of the rooms. The apartment we got had small and stuffy rooms although it was meant to be for 4 people. The furnishing in the bathroom and the kitchenette looks worn out and in need of changing. Tiny bathroom with tiny shower.
It needs some serious renovation
The hotel is situated close to the beach in a rather quiet area. The room price was competitive. There is wi-fi access free of charge in the rooms. The manager is nice but rarely present at the hotel (if you need to speak to him you have to call him). The parking is very bumpy, our car touched the ground a couple of times (fender scratched). The maids leave the windows and shutters open after cleaning the rooms, so do not leave objects of value in the room. There is no swimming pool available yet (as indicated on the web page).
Apartments are well maintained. But no breakfast.
The owner is very helpful , the location of the hotel is on the mountain but still near the beach , the fact that we paid with credit card is very good , the balcony i very nice , and we like that we receive the same room like the last october. The noise of the road.
Price is very good , the room was very big and nice , the chicinette in fact was another room with one single bed and all for cooking. So we enjoy our stay here and we love the place The distance from the beach , but we have some stormy nights and very noisy sea and in the final we have more quiet here
very nice, quite and comfort. staff is good.
Very nice, pleasent place and extremely clean. The garden in beautifull and the view from the second floor is amaizing especially in the morning. The apartments are placed at the end of Agios Gordios which is a very quiet area. Also, we had a few nice moment talking with Giorgios, who welcomed us personnally even if we arrived at 11 PM. Very good facilities. Nothing to mention.
The mostly I liked during my stay at the hotel is the location, staff very friendly and responsive, the entertainment organized by the Hotel for their guests. In this regard, it is worth to mention that despite the fact that my vacation were out of the main season, in September, the Hotel was fully booked, which mean that it offers quality of services clients need during their stay at hotels.
Room nice size, kept clean and with excellent view and in a good location - as expected. But would recommend that people book room only and pleased we didn't book half board We booked bed and breakfast - but the breakast was truely bad! The fruit juice was watered down, the bread did not taste fresh, the yogurt was watery, the choice was very limited etc. So poor in fact that we only ate breakfast at the hotel once - we elected to go to a local taverna and pay extra to have a really nice breakfast for only 5 euro's each
The views were amazing. The food was hot and could eat as much as you wanted. The beds were very hard and the walls were paper thin... could hear everything from the other rooms.
the buffet breakfast was the poorest i have had anywhere in the world, the hotwater barely worked, the price was very high for what you get. i would never recommend anyone to stay here.
The view of Paleokatrista, the swimming pool, quiet hotel. Not enough chairs and umbrellas near the swimming pool. The restaurant make not a very good food, international dishes not greek specialities and not a lot of vegetable and fruits. The breakfast is simple, but the yogourt is special , liquid ( added with milk or eater ?)
We very much appreciated the comfortable beds and the cleanliness of the room. The layout of the hotel was lovely and the pool was nice and clean. The sea side view was spetacular! The breakfasts - after trying the eggs we stuck with only toast and maybe some fruit when we did in fact have breakfast there. The stairs to the pool when wet were dangerous as they were slightly slanted downwards as well. I slipped on them and badly sprained an ankle.
Friendlines of staff. the fact that we could get B&B only. Food. Small pool with no showers. Snack bar 12-4 only.
Amazing views Breakfast
Good location for our purposes, good value for money, friendly helpful staff Breakfasts were a bit predicttable and not particularly good
I found the location of the hotel and the surroundings excellent. The room was clean and tidy. The staff was pretty helpful.
Located centrally in a small bay with beautiful views and restaurants below and to one side. Tours of the surrounding headlands by small boat are highly recommended in this very rewarding few days stays. Not long enough as I thought the place to be a real gem.
Location and views - right on the beach. Very nice staff and lovely restaurant. Also nice restaurants nearby. We were in the annexe. The shower was a bit of a pain to use - just a tray, no curtain or holder for the shower to attach to. The bathroom floor was wet as the water did not drain away easliy. We were only there 2 nights so was ok to cope with.
The location is excellent, the beach is on the other side of the road. Excellent view over the sea from the balcony. Rooms are big enough, clean, equipped with air-conditioning. We had halfboard: the breakfast is OK, however a bit boring to eat the same thing for a week (bit more choice for coldcut, cheese and packed yoghurt instead of yoghurt from a common dish would have been welcome). The dinner was a 3-course menu with 3 choices for each course, small portions, but the three course together enough to feel full. Extremely nice staff in the restaurant. Twice during the week there was a concert/karaoke in the restaurant, which of course was possible to hear in the rooms as well. However, in both cases they ended around midnight.
Actually two things amazed the most in the hotel: the location, right in front of the gourgeous beach of Palaiokastritsa, and the friendly staff, especially the ones in the bar and restaurant, which is by the way worthwhile to try very often during your stay in Corfu.
We stayed just before the holiday season got going. We found the manager Craig excellent nothing was too much trouble. The accomoddation was basic but comfortable and the location excellent. We had a great break! The beds were rather hard and creaky
the view it was dirty
Location,Staff were friendly and helpful.
The owners and at the same time, management of the hotel were very friendly. They tried to help on each and every occasion. The rooms were not luxury or sth. The hotel has basic features but it is clean and tidy. I can say that I found just what I expected. But have to mention that if someone goes there with some sort of an expactation of staying in a luxury one, he / she would be disappointed. It is basic, clean. fair for the price but not luxury. One specific detail should be mentioned I believe. The location and the seashore of the hotel is absolutely the best on Corfu. However, if one does not travel with car or doesnt intend to hire one, the 25 kms distance between the city center and the hotel can create problem.
The location of this hotel was great. Right on the beach with shops and restaurants on its doorstep. The staff were helpful and friendly. The rooms had a lovely character about them. I think the bathrooms could be improved - they're a little old. Occasionally a smell would come up from the drain which was unpleasant and you also flood the whole bathroom when you take a shower. We would still go back though.
This is a family-owned hotel, runs by the family, and they are very friendly and accommodating. The hotel location is excellent, it's right next to the beach. Every hotel room has it's own individual air conditioning unit and a decent-sized fridge - pretty nice. We have been to other Greek islands and stayed in hotels there. The room here is somewhat small by comparison. Having said that, we think the room is adequate and it has bathroom, fridge, air conditioning, etc.
Friendly hotel staff; very near to the beach; good quality of the food; excellent knowledge of English language of the staff;
It was ok!
The owners were very helpful and friendly. Rooms are basic but clean. Close to the beach and restaurants. Many steps (with luggage) to get to sea view rooms.
The owners and staff were extremely friendly and did their utmost to make our stay enjoyable; they bent over backwards to give us assistance should we need it and entertained us very well. The room was large, airy, well-decorated with good facilities. The hotel was charming in aspect and the food was excellent. The location could not be rivalled, situated right next to the beach in what has to be the most beautiful bay we have ever seen.
Staying at the Zefiros hotel was the best choice we could make.Simple but tastefuly decorated - all white and clean. I travel with my sister and my mother and our budget was a little bit tight. The hotel offers really good value for money: The location is perfect as we don't drive. The hotel is located just in front of a nice beach although we prefered a more quiet one just two minutes away. In front of the hotel you can catch a bus to Corfu town and spend the day in the old town. The hotel is run by a family that owned it for two generations. Iren and Johny are extremely helpful and kind. I do recommend the food at the hotel! And the staff, specially Ashley, is so nice! We will come back.
Excellent value. Clean. Oustanding location and view. Superb staff. very firendly.
Location. Friendliness and helpfulness of staff Steps. Malfunctioning tv and air conditioning.
Good location next to a beautiful beach with great view. Friendly staff. Good restaurant with great breakfast. Typical european style bathroom.
We liked the room size and extrass together with a great location and friendly staff
The owners were very amicable and helpful. The room was clean and well maintained.
Cleanliness, location, friendly staff and great value for money. Great having breakfast included.
Cleanliness, very friendly and helpful owners. Good location since Benitses is located approximately at the center of the island (North to South) and only 11km from Corfu's town. Loved the swimming pool and the breakfast. Would definitely come back and recommend it to friends and family.
its ok swemingpoll clouse 18pm don t open late
Hotel location at nice and calm site. Really friendly hotel staff. Everybody takes care of the hotel guests. Breakfast extremely good and rich.
Thank you for all!! Very kind persons.
the excellent, caring and friendly staff (also international young people with facility in different languages !!) ---the availability of A.C. if needed --the bright and colorful rooms---simple fun touches that made the place very welcoming---the "great breakfast buffet !!" ----the location, so close to both beach and pool (nice having that available for so reasonable)----the availability of 24 hour reception------certainly a 2 star with a 5 star attitude !!! Simple rooms with what you need plus an outdoor space----obviously the owner is doing the "right " things training her staff and running the hotel...we wish them success with great guests !
Very good hotel. Warm reception (thanks Athena....), familial....A Team extraordinary. pLEASANT ambiance and the team is always ready to hel you. a thought for extraordinary people...athena,manon, vagelis, NASOS.......and all the other.Bella Vista is a hotel that recommend. If I go back to Corfu, no doubt I will go to Bella Vista. Bella The showers, dressing more practicaland a mirror in the room
The hotel far exceeded our expectations and the customer service was outstanding.
good customer service, nice location slow internet connection
The overwhelming friendliness of the staff and the lovely touches in the rooms i.e. Nemo
The staff was great as well as the location - very nice village with good restaurants and location for a trip around the island. The breakfast was great as well. We had a room with very nice romantic design and great terrace. Just a few minor things: the doors are too thin and pass the noise from the lobby. And, the pillows are very flat. The last thing is (but I don't think it depends on the hotel) is the huge number of wasps this time of the year, but this problem is all around the island.
perfect service. this hotel has 2 stars, but should be rated at least 3. wifi is free, aircon works
