Pros: Best hotel we’ve ever stayed. Great hospitality, great decoration and view. Receptionist ladies were too nice and warm. Breakfast was perfect. Room has everything you can need (shampoo, conditioner, shower jel, hair dryer, etc) and clean. Hotel bar’s view was nice. I really want to go Samos again just for staying this hotel again.

Pros: The view from our room was excellent. The rooms were extremely clean and decorated with modern furniture. Breakfast was rich and you could enjoy the Kokari bay view while having your breakfast. Thanks to Maria for her great hospitality.

Pros: We had a wonderful stay at this hotel overlooking Kokkari in Samos. We had a complimentary upgrade which was unexpected and such a lovely surprise after travelling on the overnight ferry from Mykonos. We loved the space of having a living room as well as our bedroom, as we were travelling for 6 weeks and had quite a bit of luggage. The views were extraordinary, and the room was super comfortable. Great water pressure, comfortable bed, great breakfast, everything you want when you are on holiday! We had a car which was perfect for exploring Samos, it would have been a bit of a hassle to get up and down the hill and into Kokkari otherwise, but i understand there is a shuttle. A big thank you to Maria who went above and beyond to make our stay fabulous. Thank you again and we hope to see you again one day!

Pros: What an amazing retreat for adults. Comfortable rooms with a balcony. Fantastic view from the bar verandah. Pool was deep with ample umbrellas and lounge chairs. Breakfast was plentiful and had lots of variety. My favourite was the homemade Greek yogurt with fresh fruits. Courtesy bus from the hotel to a few surrounding areas. The local township of Kokkari is fabulous a enough shops and restaurants to satisfy. The hotel is impeccably clean and the staff are terrific.
Cons: I wish they had a restaurant for evening meals.

Pros: Great place, old townhouse renovated with great taste, nice view on the red bricks rooftops of the village and the castle, with the aegean in the background. Cozy, quiet and clean, and the owner is extremely friendly, warm and supportive. It also helps that it is near the airport, which is easily reachable by bus.

Pros: It was a very nice accommodation, keeping in mind the price. Most important, everything was perfectly clean. The room has a pleasant view. The hotel itself is an old house, it has some warm touches of a retro style. My request of a late check-out was granted in a very friendly way. And the location is perfect!
Cons: The internet was quite weak, I needed it for my work. But I got the strong connection on the first floor in the hall. In fact, that was not even a problem, there is a comfortable and stylish workspace.

Pros: This Hotel was only a five minute walk from the town centre and beautiful harbour, lots of restaurants and shops. The owner and staff were very friendly and always willing to help with directions and points of interests.
Cons: The shower was too small but it seems that most hotels in Greece are all the same, you just get used to it in the end. Otherwise all good we can’t complain about any thing. Thank you for a great stay.

Pros: One double bed for my husband and I, view towards the port, hair drier, very helpul owner offering us support with whatever we needed (he borrowed us a knife and also an ice cube tray). Room was spotless clean, we had a radio in our room instead of TV which we appreciated a lot, AC but also a large ventilator right over the bed which was amazing. We loved it.
Cons: I would have liked to be able to prepare my own coffee or tea in the room. No other facilities needed.

Pros: The owner, Petros was so welcoming, smiling all the time and very helpful. Thank you Petro! We loved the location, very close to the port and restaurants, yet very silent at night. Also we had booked a room with a partial sea view but we really had a very nice view of the sea :)

Pros: Petros and his family were amazing hosts. The location is excellent and only a short walk to shops, beach, restaurants, and the Efpalino tunnel. Samaina is an excellent place to stay.

Pros: Location is perfect with easy access of pedestrian zone and port area, also very pleasant Potokaki beach in walking distance. Smaller balcony with sea view. Rooms are simple but well maintained, beds are comfortable. Owner is very kind and really helpful. I would not select anything else in Pythagoreon than this hotel if we come next time.

Pros: We would recomended this property for romantic place, quiet and beautiful, near to the main street, the port and the restaurants. A place where you can breathes the true Greek atmosphere. The property is set in a picturesque part of the island and the views from our room it was romantic. Perfect service. Clean and well equiped rooms with balcony. The bed linen and towels was laundered and changed more often than at home. The owner Chrisiis was very helpful and friendly lady, always attentive and listening. Pros: A classic greek budget accomodation that fulfills your expectations. Surrounded by a garden in the epicenter of Pythagorion. The bathroom is a bit small but with a proper water pressure. Some rooms are renovated - with great new double bed. There is a lot of well nourished and nice cats ons the premises but if you're allergic or not a fan, ask for a room on upper floors since the cats get into the room from the balcony. The hostess is a warm and genuinely nice lady who takes good care of you.

Pros: Lovely Pension close to the harbour ( 2 mins walk , maximum). Chrisiis , the owner is a delight and so very friendly. Room as described - a small double . Perfect for me . Clean and comfortable. No hairdryer but one was provided when I asked . I would have liked a kettle but didn't get around to asking if there was one I could use so maybe this would have been provided like the hairdryer Chrisiis has a lot of cats !

Pros: The hotel has a great location, in front for the port walking distance to many restaurants, main shopping facilities and the small beaches near the port. The staff is very kind and helpful. The beds are comfortable and very new. We even had a small terrace to sit down, it was perfect to work with my computer.
Cons: We had a room on the ground floor, close to reception. You could hear the staff and housekeeping talking loud from very early in the morning.

Pros: Great value for the money! Beautifully decorated, peaceful and well-maintained resort. Excellent breakfast. The airport is close, but not trouble at all - only few flights during the day. The elderly man who worked there (owner?) is friendly and a real gentleman. We had to leave at 6.30 a.m. and he prepared us take-away breakfast.

Pros: The location was good, half way between the airport and Pythagorio. Transfer to the hotel by taxi 5 mins and a pleasant 10 min walk to town centre, Breakfast was excellent everything from toasties to fruit, greek yoghurt, honey, fresh orange juice, pastries and ham, cheese and eggs and many more items. The hotel was spotlessly clean and rooms were cleaned every day but Sunday, with towels and sheets changed every 2/3 days. Manolis the owner was very obliging and friendly, as we had an early flight he allowed us to check in early and even provided a complimentary breakfast and as we were departing late in the day he allowed us to use a vacant room until late in the afternoon so we could enjoy every minute of our last day and were able shower and get changed before we left for the airport. Very good value for money.

Pros: Quality, healthy breakfast with feta, tomatoes, cucumbers, breads, eggs, honey and jam, omelette, excellent yogurt, and a few more items. We only met two women on the staff and they are wonderful, friendly, and helpful. The housekeeper of our section was friendly and wiped the marble floor each morning. A narrow street separates the hotel from the smooth rocky beach where the water is clear and blue-green. There are several good restaurants within a few minutes of walking, or continue to the larger concentration of restaurants and shops in about 10 minutes at a strolling pace. Kokkari was much better than Pythagorio since it has a beach and better layout. Even our rental car represtative from Vathy said that he prefers Kokkari to Pythagorio. I would stay here again.
Cons: About the only complaint I had was the smell from the drains leaking into the bathroom. Keeping a bath mat over the drain in the floor helped, but it also seemed to come from the shower. Keep the window in the bathroom open. We stayed in early October when it was pleasant weather (and it was quiet in town) but there did not appear to be air conditioning, so it could be hit in July and August. This appeared to be normal for the area, however, due the the steady wind.

Pros: Very kind host who arranged a taxi to the airport, free upgrade to a larger room with separate bedroom and kitchenette with coffee maker, fresh towels and sheets every day, balcony, nice beds, airconditioning, very close to the beach and restaurants but quiet at night, nice garden to sit and relax with a book.
Cons: Showering in a small bathtub with no curtain, fridge had been off for a while and was kind of smelly. All in all minor things, our stay was excellent.

Pros: The property is ideally situated - a few steps to the beach and restaurants but in a lovely quiet street. Its a spacious and well maintained property with good sized rooms. I had a studio and it was a great size with a balcony looking over a lovely garden area. Great air conditioning too. I was made to feel really welcome by the owners and they could not have been more helpful both before and during my stay, from changing my dates of stay when I made a mistake to helping me with airport transfers, I could not have asked for more. They are lovely people and I hope to be back to enjoy more of their hospitality very soon.

Cons: The jacuzzi beside the pool had no steps to get into it & there is a sign that directs you down to the beach which is a difficult and dangerous track and should be avoided.

Pros: I Loved the pillows and also loved that all the bedding is (or feels like) 100% cotton. The room itself was very comfortable, clean, and fresh. The decor is light and breezy. The setting with the pool view and ocean view helped me feel very relaxed. Rania at the front desk was super helpful and patient with giving me tour advice.
Cons: I know it's necessary but I didn't like the gardener trimming the bushes in the morning. It woke me up.

Cons: The short route into Pythagorio: 25 min along a busy road without a proper walkway. However, there is a longer and much nicer path beside the sea.

Just 100 metres from the beach and centrally located at the port of Pythagoreion, Acropol Rooms offers accommodation with Aegean Sea views. A restaurant and a snack bar are also featured. Pros: Such a beautiful quaint hotel in a very quiet and pretty area next to the most gorgeous port. This is definitely a great little getaway gem and the staff were so friendly. It is a very traditional hotel so you will get to experience a genuine Greek vacay here. You can walk to the port and it is very safe at night. Rooms were good size, loved sitting on the balcony at night during the breeze.

Pros: Angela apt´s location was exellent, quiet, but only 5 min walk to catch shops, restaurants, bars. We arrived by car and the frii parking place was just a few meters from the hotel. The apartment was big good size for 3 person, kitchen facilities were good; coffeemacine, waterboiler, toaster, owen and enough ewerything we needed. Shower was good, warm water and pressure ok.
Cons: I think the elder man in the reception didn`t know we were coming, he seemd a little confused, but we managed to solve things and the 3 days went well. The balcony was a little bit narrow for 3 person, but was ok anyway.

Pros: Set right in the center of a beautiful and peaceful village, 1min walk from the beach. Location could not be better. Room is very clean and basic, but good VFM. They let me check out at 14:00 instead of 12 and generally did all they can to make me feel welcome and homey. Great place for a solo traveler.
Cons: The water pressure in the bathroom was poor, but the owners said they are aware of it and will he fix after end of season. Bed was basic. For me it was ok but if you are sleep sensitive, might not be the best for you.

Pros: It’a in a calm and beautiful village, Ireon. Very close to the beach and can be accepted the center point to the main attractions of the island. The hotel was super clean, every day the rooms has been cleaned during the day. The breakfast was good and enough, they add every day different things, it was good. Mrs. Athina was really kind and nice during, efharisto to her especially. We really loved the hotel!

Amenities are not replenished. TV has only 5-10 channels with very bad reception. Why bother with TV then? No parking on site, had to park on unsafe places. Minibar has no price list but they do charge eventually.

Pros: The breakfast was great and the hotel is located in one of the most beautiful areas of the island. The hotel is well decorated and stylish. The stuff was very friendly. Kokkari town center is very close and there is a nice beach right across the road in 100m. If you drive to the west of the island you will get to a couple of really pretty mountain villages where you can have amazing food.
Cons: It was obvious that it was not being maintained properly. I guess there had been no / very little maintenance work done before opening the hotel for this season. The swimming pool lights were floating in the pool being attached to their ports through electric cables which made me a little bit anxious swimming. The hotel needed repainting. The beverage boxes and the water hoses were all stored outside the building where you can easily see from the pool area. These may sound like small things however it is one of the expensive hotels in the island and I do not want to any of those when I choose a good expensive hotel. You ca buy wine and a couple of other cold drinks from the reception but a pool bar would be great to have some refreshing cocktails / snacks.

Pros: During our stay at Villa Maria, we felt very comfortable and felt like at home. Rooms are very clean and being cleaned on a daily basis. The furniters are new. The owner Manos is the most kind, helpful and hospitable person we have ever seen in our lives. The location of hotel is also very good, five minutes walking to village center. Wifi connection is working very well. It is a very peaceful, warm and lovely place and we recommend it highly. We are looking forward our next holiday in Villa Maria at Kokkari!

The owner, Manos is very kind and helpfull man. He relaxed us and wellcomed us with a nice lemonate. He solved our car problem. And after offered us a homemade drinks. He helped us about good beaches and restaurants. We are very lucky to stay his property. Beds are enought comfortable.
