Homestay - Healing Desert Home

We are Mother Bosque Garden. Urban Permaculture, Eco Stay, Environmentally Friendly / Organic GARDENS. We have hosted people since April 2012. We live in the Bosque ( RIVER FOREST ) on the Rio Grande. In Albuquerque, New Mexico USA, 87107. We provide a safe clean place for travelers. We have 2 campsites, and 2 inside bedrooms ( these rooms are often filled and very busy / steady flow of people. You can sleep in your tent, car, van or truck. We DO NOT take RVs. Ask about our inside rooms if they are open on the date you are seeking. We live in a Rural - Urban setting. We are in the North Valley of the city of Albuquerque, NM. We live on a dead end road with not much car traffic on our road. This is High Desert ( We are at 5,000 feet, Dry, Arid, Windy, Very Bright, Sunny, often hot, and vast views. (please bring sunglasses and a wide brim hat to protect your face. ) Our area is Filled with beauty, horses, wild turkey, wild life, beautiful birds of many kinds, and coyotes. We are surrounded by many cultures and languages. Hispanic / Native and other cultures. We garden ( organic ), We do Urban Permaculture. We are into doing healing work. We grow herbs, flowers, fruit trees and cactus. We have 100s of miles of Mountains over 10,000 feet. The views are breathtaking. Come hike, bike, see the sights. Our city is a Host for an International Hot Air Balloon Festival every Fall of each year. Santa Fe is one hour North and Taos, NM is 3 hours North as well. Our state is full of hot springs, camping, fishing, vineyards, traditional foods such as blue corn, native chiles, pinto beans and locally made beers. Everyone loves it here. We live in a sweet spot, peaceful, safe, clean and charming. Come sit in the garden and have some healing herb tea. We have no pets but loads of wild animals to watch and admire! We do not smoke.You will have use of the inside bathroom, includes a towel, soap and shampoo. We have a laundry room. We are so well loved these rooms are often filled fast and steady.
