The hotel is very central to everything in Alicante. The beach is 10 minutes away. Shopping nearby. The market is just across the street. Great vibe in Alicante itself with lots of restaurants and bars.
Nice and easy and friendly staff. A good sized room with all necessities prepared.
LOVED alot about this hotel. LOCATION: was prime!!! Close to Mercado tram station only a minutes walk away, 30second walk to the amazing strip of restaurants, and a 5 min walk to the hub of the city. And about 10min walk to the train station if you want to hop on the train to Valencia. Location was ideal, so close to lots of cafes, bars, restaurants and even two nightclubs were not too far however I didn't go to those so not entirely sure where they are but was told. STAFF: in the lobby were so accommodating and really kind. Wonderful people and a great team. BED: was a huge king size. AIRCON: worked so well. Easy to use and never had an issue, infact some times it was too cold. So I knew it was always working. WIFI: wifi was good when it worked, sometimes it was super slow so I opted to use my data. If you are traveling around Spain / europe, Vodafone do unlimited data for 28days so this is what I suggest incase wifi is not ideal.
Not major things, but if I have to give notes for things I don't like would be. BREAKFAST: Didn't rate the breakfast that much, but I guess a standard Continental breakfast. I spent most days going out and happily enjoyed paying extra for breakfast. Most places in the area you could get traditional Spanish breakfast, coffee and juice for 4.50€ which is half the price of the continental brekky at the hotel. FLOORS: I was on level 10, and always coming out from the lift it was hot, stuff and had a strange smell, not sure how to describe, but not a smell as in garbage but perhaps a muggy, stale smell?
Bed was very comfortable,nice views
Pool and sauna weren’t open
For us the location was great.
Breakfast was acceptable. Breakfast room was rather dull with no windows. We were told that because of fire in the hotel 9 months ago !!!! the fitness area on 11th floor was still closed.
