Pros: Location, my room had a private balcony, very clean and very good service provided by the staff. Of course I will back.
Cons: Maybe the area of the breakfast is very small but is adequate and comfortable.

Pros: Room is well appointed and very comedienne. Staff is friendly and helpful. A beautiful well decorated old hotel with modern conveniences.
Cons: Service in restaurants was a little sporatic. Water pressure in shower a little weak. No check out on TV, and in person checkout was slow.
Pros: Very pleasant and knowledgeable concierge
Cons: We didn't like the room first provided but after complaining received smaller but with much better view. Why not to provide the better room initially?
Pros: Loved the elegance of the hotel, service and roof top dining.
Cons: Nothing, just perfect!

Pros: very handy for the sites, close to airport bus & metro breakfast was good
Cons: The carpets in the hallways were stained, as was the room plus the curtains were marked,
Pros: - great location: next to Syntagma square, all the main tourist places are within walking distance
- great breakfast: very good variety of savoury and sweet dishes,
- Nice, large, clean and comfortable room: room and hotel are well maintained
Cons: - we booked a double room and added "double bed" in our request, but for some reason, it was not communicated to the hotel (too many intermediary agents?) - so we were given twin room. The hotel was full and couldn't change our room. Make sure to email the hotel directly after booking!
Pros: The location cannot be beat. You are right in the middle of most of the main attractions. The breakfast is very good.
Cons: The shower was a bit small in my room, and the bed was a little too firm, but other than that it wa an excellent hotel.

You can grab a bite to eat at the restaurant or wind down at the end of the day with a drink from the bar/lounge. Pros: The Plaka Hotel is the best place to stay in Athens. It is centrally located and has a spectacular view of the Acropolis from the rooftop patio. It is close walking distance to the major tourist sites, shops and restaurants. Staff are friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean and have air conditioning. Breakfast is a must do in the morning. While enjoying your delicious breakfast, you can get friendly information and advice from your hostess. First week of May is a perfect time to visit Athens. Temperature is around 24C to 27C. Visit the National Archaeological Museum (10 Euros) and Athens Academy of Arts if you like to take pictures of statues. Laundry service is also available.
Pros: This is a respectable hotel, that gives good basic services to it's guests. It's overall advantage is it's location. Stay at Plaka Hotel and all of Athens is easily available to you.
Cons: I have nothing to complain about.
Pros: The friendliness of the staff and how helpful they were all the time; they gave us tips to move around and help us to keep our luggage even when we've already checked out. The hotel is well located with many important places (most-visited historic attractions) at walking distance; also great was having a convenient small market next door where we could get fruits, beverages, baked goods, etc.
The breakfast were very good, as well as the views from the roof lounge.
Cons: The maze of streets – if you're driving a car there, it is hard to park and easy to get lost in the many one-direction streets.
Pros: Rooftop terrace view and Elsa our bartender. Efharisto!!!
Pros: The terrace has a beautiful view of the Acropolis and the location is very close to restaurants, bars, and other places you would like to see and visit.
Pros: clean, quiet, good beds, staff were sooooooooo friendly, soooooo helpful, roof top bar/lounging area was so quiet and romantic, looking right at the acropolis. hotel right in the old town of Athens, the ancient agora. been to Athens many times, 2nd time at Plaka Hotel, will only stay there from now on.
Putting you in a great location within just a 10-minute walk of Roman Agora and Ancient Agora, Plaka Hotel offers an airport shuttle (available 24 hours) for EUR 60 per room one way. Guests can grab a bite to eat at the restaurant, or indulge in massages, facials, or body treatments. A bar/lounge and a terrace are other highlights, and rooms offer refrigerators and room service.
Pros: Service was impeccable, food was delicious, especially upstairs on the rooftop. Killer view. Oh, and the mattress and bedsheets are of high quality - you'll sleep very well.
Cons: The wifi is kinda slow, shower design will leave your floor soaked
Pros: Very nice hotel, great location. The room was quite big and the bed was sooo comfortable. I was impressed by the design.
Cons: They could improve breakfast. It's ok to have the same breakfast everyday but food that should be warm was cold constantly.
Set in the district of Plaka on a quiet side street, this Athens hotel is near the new Acropolis Museum, Zappeion Exhibition Hall, The Roman Agora, and 500 metres from Syntagma Square's metro station to the Athens Airport. The tram to the Athens coastline is nearby.
Pros: The lobby was beautiful with artistic wire statues and a bar/restaurant with trees growing through it. The staff is very professional and tries to be very helpful (though both times I stayed at the hotel there was not a doorman to greet me and carry my luggage up the steps). Gorgeous rooftop bar and a nice jacuzzi area on the floor below it.
Cons: We stayed at the hotel 2 nights--one at the beginning of our trip and one at the end. The first room we had at the beginning of our trip literally reminded me of a hostel I'd once stayed at--the bed was a hard board looking thing with a gross looking red coverlet (not even a comforter). We also did not get one bed but instead, two twins pushed together. When I returned on the last leg of my trip I mentioned this but they only had one room left and put me in an equally bad room (only after accidentally giving me the key to an occupied room). This room at least had better beds and bedding but because it was on the first floor, it had no natural sunlight (blocked by the building) and made me feel as if I was staying in someone's basement. It was also a smaller room than the first and we struggled to find a place out of the way to put both of our suitcases. The air conditioner also leaked water. It's a shame--beautiful hotel but sadly the rooms are not up to par. Perhaps at $200 US dollars/night I didn't spend enough to get a nice room?
Pros: Great value for money, well located close to the Acropolis, nice common areas and pleasant breakfast room. Rooms are well equipped and very clean.
Cons: Bathroom a bit dated, but very clean. No issues. Room had no view, but for the money, more than acceptable.
Pros: The location of the hotel is great, with easy access to the Acropolis, Acropolis Museum and the Acropolis Metro. Make sure to ask for an outside facing room as some rooms can be small and cramped.
The downstairs lobby area is very nice with a good atmosphere to sit and talk or to read/write.
Cons: Sometimes the rooms can be cramped and dark. Sometimes cab drivers can't locate it, but just tell them to drop you off by the Acropolis Museum and you can navigate it easily.
Pros: This is the perfect location for exploring Athens. Safe Street, restaurants and shopping nearby, immediately adjacent to the modern and magnificent Acropolis museum. Staff were friendly and accommodating. The rooms were very quiet and the rooftop view of the Acropolis is spectacular.

Cons: This hotel is located in a very bad part of Athens. When we were checking out and going to a different hotel, Fresh Hotel refused to provide a refund for the day that we did not stay.
Pros: I thought the hotel was great, nice modern interior, fantastic location, 5 minute walk to Monastiraki Square, room was pretty spacious and the rooftop pool was small but still refreshing after a long day of touring. The breakfast was fantastic, a great spread!
Cons: The pool was a bit small and the rooftop bar was pretty overpriced, but otherwise no complaints!
Pros: Rooftop bar/ restaurant with views of the Acropolis.
Room was clean with the 3 beds we requested.
Location was convenient to all tourist destinations.
Cons: Bed was not super comfortable.
Pros: Location and price for the main advantages of this hotel.
Cons: The immediate neighborhood is a little bit seedy, but this did not bother me.
Pros: Roof deck, attentive service, location
Pros: They have a very nice breakfast.
Cons: The difference between a standard room and a luxury standard room is virtually zero. The rooms generally are extremely small. The hotel is situated in a dirty, rough part of the central city with prostitutes and thugs on the street. Management seems to believe that their guests are lucky to stay there.
I gave this hotel a second chance about a week ago. Never again.

Pros: The rooms are big and the location is great next to shopping and restaurants.
Pros: Very nice place located in the heart of the city with a good value. The staff was always there to help and made excellent recommendations for our stay.
Cons: Would've loved to have a single queen bed in stead of two twins but this is not that unusual in Greece.

Cons: Internet was not as strong in the rooms and we needed to go to the lounge on the main floor to conduct business electronically.
Pros: Nice room. Clean with a view of the Acropolis.
Pros: Upon check in we were told that there was a mistake during our booking process and no rooms were actually available. The hotel proactively had already arranged for us to have a room at the Parthenon Hotel nearby and they paid for a taxi transfer.
Pros: Absolutely loved this hotel. The staff, especially the manager were very helpful--going beyond the call of duty to help us with luggage storage, finding the right bus, etc. The included Greek buffet breakfast was amazing. Close & in view of acropo

Breakfast was spectacular, the room and bathroom were exactly what we were looking for after a very busy days. The shuttle service closer to town was a huge help.
Cons: The hotel is a little bit of a walk from the areas we wanted to stay in, but the shuttle resolved most of our concerns.
