Nice location on the Mumbles. Affordable prices. Bedroom and bathroom were small. No lounge for reading the paper, waiting for fellow guests etc.
They provided a cotbed and a highchair free of charge and had it all ready for us when we arrived and at breakfast times
The attention to detail was faultless , the staff were very friendly, the location was excellent and there were no external disturbances There was nothing to fault
The service was brilliant, we arrived late and were in need of food, the manager booked us into a local resurant and even drove us there and back. the hotel was stunning, we felt totally relaxed after our stay and were dissapointed that we could only stay for one night, a whole weekend there with the countryside and the walks that are available would have been beatuiful!
Glangwili Mansion is an amazing getaway location. The hosts are such fabolous people, Peace and tranquillity is the theme throughout this luxurious guest house. The rooms are fantastic with a nice blend of contemporary and modern decor the bed was the most comfortable i've ever slept on and the breakfast was almost overwhelming. We would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants a relaxing break.
First class in every way. A real treat to be enjoyed again. Highly recommended.
Without doubt the very best B&B we have ever stayed in run by the most charming and welcoming hosts we have ever met. Utterly wonderful.
Excellent throughout None
Beautiful quiet location, clean and well equipt, very comfortable and modern decor, very friendly reception. Also facilities for self catering party if wanted. None
Lovely manor house in superb location. Interior decor was fantastic - very modern furniture with beautiful tiled floors and contemporary art and ornaments. Our bedroom was very large with plenty of light. Beautiful furnishings and excellent ensuite bathroom. None
We loved everything! Don't bother with a Hotel - no hotel will beat this! To be honest we were looking for a basic hotel - but there was not many around this area- so because the feedback on the mansion was very good we thought we would spend the extra money. It was so much better than we were expecting - it was just stunning - and ticked every box. We arrived late at night and awoke to blue skies and surrounded by trees in a forest. The rooms were amazing - the hospitality was 5* - you could not ask for anything to be better. People who run their own businesses take more care of their guests and George and Linda were just the perfect hosts you could ever imagine. Well worth every penny for a stay in a 5* accomodation. If I were you pay the extra money for this 5* acomodation - you will not regret it!
The homely feeling in luxurious surroundings
Good sized rooms, well cooked food, friendly staff, excellent location with extensive views of surrounding area. Competitive rates. Not a lot but shower required fixing and water supply was too hot and interupted by use of other facilities/users. A child would have been badly scalded.
Great location, good that they were able to accomadate our dog as well although when we booked they were a little unsure about it. English breakfast was good. Glad that our children were staying else where as the main heating had broken down an the friday and had not been fixed and we were left with an inadequate oil heater, my wife went to bed nearly fully clothed. Also the near riot outside that spilled over from the party would have been very upsetting for young children to listen too.
Staff very pleassant & helpful, excellent breakfast Was an initial mix-up over rooms but quickly sorted
Very pleasant, helpful staff. Room was very noisy-heard man next door singing enthusiastically in the shower etc! Shower in our room was broken.
Staff were courteous and helpful Cold shower on arrival but put right by following morning
