Generous and cordial staff. Helpful with suggestions and directions. Beautiful garden and view. Difficult to find. Narrow roadways to get there.
Very quiet and peacefull. Breakfast was good. Looking to go back for a longer stay next year to explore the area more.
Good situation for visit to Gower and waterfall area. Accommodation comfortable. Owner very helpful regarding travelling about area. Owner friendly and approachable at all times. None
the location was stunning and relaxing. Our host was extremely helpful with regard to places to see and local information - far above our expectations. We will definitely visit agin and recommend to others. breakfast was perfect with plenty of choice and quality food.
Comfortable and clean accommodation with very good service No
The cooked breakfast was made from excellent bacon, eggs and mushrooms and the use of a fridge for fresh milk and the option to store one's own food was a useful extra.
Personal service, decent room, breakfast ok
The bed was quite squeaky, squeaking each time you moved! Another pillow would have been more comfortable
Staff were very friendly, the rooms were spotless, couldnt fault a thing, great place to stay.
Historic building and friendly staff
the room was very well presented and clean. nice size bathroom. it was slightly noisy during the night and early morning
Excellent location for city centre. Breakfast in Humble Pies across the street. Convenient for train station and bus station. Good clean room and a big bath. Being a city centre hotel, it inevitably suffers from noise on Friday and Saturday especially. We were up quite late anyway and when we went to sleep we were tired so slept through it, but I know others were disturbed so perhaps not good for light sleepers. The master bedroom is especially bad because it is situated over the driveway that goes to the car park at the rear. You can therefore get very loud engine noises from cars, bikes or delivery vans early in the morning so not especially good for lie-ins.
central location to Carmarthen we booked the master bedroom for 2 nights - everything was fine until the Saturday night. Room was immediately above the main bar - no chance of an early night with live music blasting away until 11.30pm - noise was horrendous !! Fried breakfast on the Saturday morning was cold
Gwesty cartefol a cymrieg. Bwyd Da a pris resymol iawn. Good value with some steep stairs Dim byd. Nothing major just the steep stairs
not a lot loud music was played until approx 02:00am and we had to phone reception to ask them to turn it off. My 14 year old daughter wanted to go home, there was foul language outside the hotel until early hours. It should not have been advertised as a family friendly hotel it was more like a pub with rooms over the top. Would not stay there again
A great hotel in the middle of Carmarthen a bustling town I grew up in great pace to stay when I go back nothing not good
The bed was extremely uncomfortable.
Excellent location and has parking in the back which is limited but good to be safe and out of the way Right on main road and could hear everything that drove past. We stayed during the recent snow storm so 5am gritting was happening and woke us up.
Very clean and comfortable aan welcoming
Excellent food, accomodation and friendliness of owners nothing
Very friendly staff - spotlessly clean - good food no
The friendliness of all of the staff
Quiet; with pleasent staff No mobile phone reception
Superb food from bar menu. None
Good frendly service, good food ,frendly staff The bed in no one is very soft on the window side .no mobile reception in room
Great little find, staff brilliant, roon spotless and modern. food excelient.
Owner very welcoming-friendly family atmosphere and good value. Chef not available at beginning of the week so bar food only although perfectly acceptable-dinner on Wednesday superior when chef there.
Cleanliness and excellence of facilities None
The fact that the owner was very willing to accomodate any requests I made The toilet / shower on the top floor was cramped but otherwise for a buget holel I would rate Leonardos very good value for money.
everything, they were extremely nice and very welcoming
Friendly staff. Small rooms for the price, and the bay view rooms are very noisy with the traffic of the four lane Oystermouth road.
Good heart breakfast Cramped room, 2 beds in it when only really space for 1
Leonardo was friendly and helpful. There was plenty of tea/coffee provided in the room and these were replenished every day. The breakfast was more than adequate. The rooms are not very soundproofed and I was kept awake until 4am on the first night by the televison in the room next to me. The bed was not very comfortable as the duvet was very heavy and the pillows were uncomfortable also. There was not much room to move around in the room.
Friendly staff, lovely room, very nice veiws, quiet, peaceful, close to city centre None
it was a room for the night the accommodation, and parking arrangements
The single room and shared bathroom was very small, but warm, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was not included in the price, but was good value for money. A sea view also gives you road noise all night.
It was a convenient place for me to stay to research my family history both regarding transport and that you had the freedom to come and go as you please.
Really Freindly no
