Friendly, helpfull staff. Good value for money and very clean. Comfortable bed with a decent pillow. Free wifi available as well as a PC for public use. Good location for restaurants etc.
My room was at the front of the hotel and the bar on the other side of the road had people outside until 3.30 could be noisy at times.
Helpful staff, great location.
Rooms are very small, with single beds.
Overall the stuff is nice, however, once you check out from the hotel they would not let you use their WC. Also the location of the hotel is in front of pubs, therefore its gets very noisy at night.
the position and the price
the stairs :)
The hotel is relatively central and was easy enough to locate once I'd found Marnixstraat from the Leidseplein tram stop. When I arrived, my hotel was still being cleaned, but was very graciously accommodated with a cup of coffee and interesting chat. I was also pleasantly surprised to have been given a much larger room than the one I'd booked. The decor was beautifully floral/bright/kitsch, with an adjoining conservatory and private garden! Breakfast was traditional Dutch, but with all necessary extras. Staff were on hand numerous times to happily give me directions or to chat. Well-situated and a lovely stay.
Friendliness of the hotel staff; 24-hour accessibility; free computer/internet
Great hotel, great location. Good value for money. Staff could not do enough to help you. Small but clean & comfortable & the breakfast was good compared to some reviews I have read, they will bring you more bread or eggs if you are still hungry!
Great location, very friendly and helpful, nice place
Good location, cleanliness of the room
The stairs are high-grade, even for Amsterdam. Terrible noise from central heating system in the night.
Staff, cleanliness, location.
We not recommend this hotel for elderly people because the stairs.
