Pros: Gorgeous View! Wonderful owners and quiet peaceful location tucked away in the mountains. Close drive to eateries and ancient town of Lappa. Owner met us in person, very sweet. Balcony was breath taking. Bring a bottle of vino and get there early to enjoy the view.
Cons: Road to go into the building is very steep and narrow. You need a car for sure, not too difficult. You may want to call first so they expect you and come out to meet you, as we didn’t find a reception desk. Thanks for everything!
Pros: The view was amazing, the staff very nice and welcoming. The breakfast was very good. A lot of cute kittens that you can pet. Silent area that allows you to rest. Very good for families with children. They bring the breakfast to your bedroom at any time you like. The room was always spotless, very very clean
Cons: The location is too isolated, 1hour at least from the main beaches and main cities, good if you're looking just to chill. Internet very slow in the bedroom.
Pros: Fantastic location to explore the area. Wonderful view, very quite and relaxing. Thomas and his family were perfect hosts. Super nice and so helpful with great tips what to explore and where to go in the area.
Cons: The mattress could be more comfortable.
Pros: Clean and spacious room with a view of the mountains. Very welcoming owner that suggested a great restaurant nearby.
Pros: Thomas is a lovely guy who made sure everything was in order for us when we arrived. Very generous, he welcomed us with a fresh juice and some biscuits. The view is absolutely wonderful and there is a view from ever room. The pool is very clean and tastefully done and the surrounding area is great too with a lovely taverna in the village. The location is perfect if you have a car as it’s only 10 minutes from the north coast and 40 minutes to he wild south beaches.
Cons: There was a stovetop in the room but no kitchen utensils at all which was a shame as we like to cook, although I’m sure Thomas would be happy to assist with this if needed.
Pros: View was very nicy, breakfast made by owners was delicious. Owners were very nice.
Cons: Room should have been cleaned. In the evening there was no hot water.
Pros: Great place tucked in the mountain side. Had everything we needed. Stayed only for one night, but would not hesitate to stay longer. Great food at Archaia Lappa taverna few hundred meters away. Recommended!
Cons: Nothing really.
Pros: Friendly staff (Thomas gave us more comfortable room to sleap togeather with baby) retired spot Late cheak in Parking

Pros: It's such an amazing place, the house was renovated recently and with much love which you can see. You step down a few stairs and see beautiful flowers. There are a few areas where you can sit outside your room which are very nice and cosy. The highlight is the terrace with an breathtaking view, you can see the beautiful village, the mountains and the sea. The rooms all have different themes, very lovely and clean. Sarah, the host was very warmhearted and helpful with advice where to go in the village. Lost my heart to that house would love to live there. I highly recommend!
Pros: It was a wonderful stay overviewing the valley and seeing the wide horizon - hearing owls in the night. Sarah was hosting us and ensuring we have all we need.
Pros: Quiet house in a quiet area, relaxed ambience, very nice terrace with view on the Cretan Sea and mountains around, welcoming roofless inner courtyard (patio). Abundant vegetation around, fruits and flowers, scented air at night. The room has basic amenities and was clean. The village openly exhibits about 2000 years of history, has good restaurants with tasty trditional food and beverages. Excellent base to explore the mountains, 28 km to Rethymno on the north shore, 28 km to Frangokastello on the south shore, 9 km straight to the beach. Pros: Gorgeous suite within walking distance to attractions. The owner was very gracious and greeted us warmly. Highly recommend
Pros: Great welcome from host. House was full of character. Quiet surroundings. Parking near by.
Pros: Location in Crete - 10+ ! The fact it hasn't breakfast was an advantage to us!
Cons: We missed a comfort chair in the balcony We recommend to put bigger TV screen
Pros: Enjoyed the peace and quiet and the general filoxenia of Dora and her husband.
Pros: The apartment is fantastic, it had all that you could need, it was clean and slept really well. The location of it is perfect and the view is spectacular. The owners speak English and are very kind. I’d definitely stay again!!
Pros: It’s an attractive old village house that’s been beautifully renovated to make three apartments. I can image it would be cool in the heat of the summer. It’s also air conditioned. There’s a wonderful view out towards the coast that you can see from the communal terrace. It’s attractively furnished and perfectly clean. Our hostess was very friendly and helpful, and made us feel welcome. It’s also a great location, and remarkably quiet when we visited.
Cons: We visited at Easter and it was rather cold indoors, and took a while to warm up. But then again I had flu so struggled to feel warm anywhere. As I say, I imagine this would be a real asset in summer, when most people will visit. I guess the only thing that might have been improved was the shower- one of those you have to hold onto when in the bath, rather than being fixed. I always struggle with those and water goes everywhere! But these are minor points. It was a great place to stay.

Featured amenities include express check-in, express check-out, and luggage storage. Guests may use a roundtrip airport shuttle for a surcharge, and free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Good sized room with a balcony. Balcony not only had a nice view down to the sea but also had a means of drying swimming trunks and the like. 10 minutes down the hill there were a several restaurants under the trees with a series of water features related to the prolific springs. Very romantic in the evening with the lights in the trees (or would have been if my wife was with me!)
Cons: The sign outside does not say Maria's rooms, fortunately the man in the front garden assured me it was. A brown stain in the bottom of the toilet bowl was a bit offputting...
Pros: Very nice people the older couple that took us in. Maria og Manolis. We felt great warmth from them. There is also a great view, and the location is fantastic If you dont want to live in the center, but live within walking distance to the town. Without even noticing that the town is just above!
Cons: Everything was great.
