The staff was very helpful The shower was clogged in room 518. The pool was in poor condition and the surrounding rooms were under construction and looked like it had been for a while. The outdoor pool was closed because it was run down.
Very friendly staff and a perfect location if you plan on visiting six flags over texas
The location is great for Arlington business. The shuttle service is great and accommodating. I would keep that service. I waited probably about 20 mins for a parfait yogurt in the restaurant for breakfast. Also, I would provide the coupon for a complimentary breakfast upon check-in. Not in the envelop found under the room door on check-out day. I assumed that was the bill and paid for breakfast at my own expense, not knowing the envelop contained a coupon for free breakfast.
Close to the new Cowboys Stadium with a restaurant and bar.
mostly the comfortable bed. Very clean and staff was very helpful no
the location to atractions is perfect. the pool and surrounding landscaping was perfect. loved, loved the trees.
Good bar on site and restaurant
Great location near several professional sporting venues & many diverse restaurants to choose from. Hotel personnel were very professional & knowledgeable. Made you feel like a valued customer. \ Would highly recommend this hotel. Everything was great.
The room was spacious and clean. The continental breakfast is terrific. The bed was comfortable and they even had two types of pillows to choose from-firm or fluffy.
I am always skeptical about some of these sites but the rooms were just as described! We had a noise issue, however I called room service they quickly took care of the problem! The staff was nice. We are definitely staying again. Thank you comfort suites!
Room appeared nice. Sofa bed was broken and wife fell through. The wire spring was broken at the foot of the bed. My 17 year old daughter slept in our bed because the sofa bed was so uncomfortable. I had to get on the elevator to get ice because the machine on our floor was out of service. Breakfast was at best "ok". Parking lot was full from convention and they told me to park in neighboring business parking lot. Really! Not them but me! Really!
I loved the room. I liked the service. I was very happy. I did not have any issues. The staff was great. I did not have an issue at all. This was a great value. This hotel was exactly what I needed. There was nothing I did not like.
Bed was comfortable We showed up to find the police and three cars broken into on the property. When I went in to check in, I asked the guy at the counter about it. He response was "we're not responsible if something happens to your car". We requested a crib be in our room a week before checking in and of course, it wasn't in the room when we showed up. It took them two hours to bring it up to our room, and when my husband and I tried to say it up, we found out it was broken and the sides didn't lock. Not to mention it was dirty and stained!
Desk clerks were friendly. Only one elevator was working so it was a bit of a wait. Nothing drastic though.
From the online reservation to checkout, everything was smooth and easy. The night desk attendant was friendly and helpful when we arrived and got us checked in quickly. Once we made it to our room we were pleased -- it was a nice size and clean. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. Also, a full breakfast was served from 7-10AM, which allowed us enough time to sleep in but still go sit down and eat a good meal. I will definitely choose Comfort Inn & Suites for my next hotel stay!
Looking at this place from the outside, you think it is going to be pretty Sweeeeeet! Overall it was, except for the room. Room was clean, but not close to being worth $250 a night. Room was more like what you would see in a 2.0 star hotel. Nothing to brag about at all. If the room was as nice as the rest of the resort you wouldnt be able to say much bad about this place. I would have to say they ARE understaffed for a place this large. Hard to find anybody to help you at times. Seriously, the staff was outstanding if you could find them. However, the rest of the resort was very nice. Actually beautiful atrium area with restaurants (Steak, Italian, Mexican food), good sized fountain, flowers, trees, and other things as well. There were quite of few shops as well bars and sports bars in the resort. They did have a Starbucks in the lobby as well (which made the wife happy as well as the rest of that loooooooong line waiting to get their fix). The water park they have (for guests only) was pretty nice. Adults and kids alike were all enjoying it. They did have a really nice bar there and also served food if you wanted to make a day of it. Overall, pretty nice place The room is a lot to be desired. Stayed at better rooms in a lot CHEAPER motels. Yes, it was clean, but for a $250 a night resort room, I would definitely expect more. A bit understaffed for a place this large. Hard to find anybody to help or even ask questions to, at times. Having to pay $19 dollars to SELF park is ridiculous But then so is $30 for them to park it for you.
Pool and room temperature in pool area was not heated for enjoyment, too cold!!!
This was a great trip!!! I would suggest this hotel to everyone. It was Christmas Time and the hotel was very festive!!!!
I loved everything there was to see and do there. Gorgeous! Everyone was very friendly. The room was tiny.
I loved the Staff and customer service! Those brilliant smiles serves great Texas hospitality! There was nothing I didn't like! The Gaylord is home away from home!
Room was clean, if you have family there is a lot for kids to do (at least around xmas which is when we went) Glass Cactus club was neat. The pre-check in email asking what your preferences are... DON'T waste 1 minute of your time on that! asked for either a higher room/floor OR a view room... Specifically made a note in the comments that a room higher up was desired.. Got a parking lot, first floor room and the hall was FULL of kids and no parents! Kids were running up and down the halls all day and HALF the night... Also, restaurant staff was not very friendly, lost my reservation and then tried to make ME look like the fool.... But I had a confirmation email to prove the reservation.... So it was just a poor experience.. Staff was either great OR terrible... Grossly understaffed... I know for $220/night it felt more like a "fancy" 2.5 star hotel... I have had much better service at cheaper big-brand hotels and this hotels amenities dod NOT warrant the cost.. I had high hopes for this resort and sadly was let down..
The Gaylord Texas was a great stay. We had problems when I got to the hotel (but not with the Gaylord Texan) we called the front desk and they moved us into a larger king size room, large enough to fit two roll away beds for the kids at no extra charge. After this problem the vacation was wonderful. When I booked the hotel room I put down 4 adults where I thought their would be enough room for all four but when we got to the room it was a standard size king room with only a king size room. I was expecting a pull out bed or at least couch for 4 adults. I would suggest showing a room layout for the consumer so someone doesn't get confused with what they are purchasing.
Always a pleasure Loud outside your room in mornings. Every employee is a tip whore. Get ready to dish out a lot of cash But they deserve it, ofcourse.
No mutch Every thing is under construction ;(
Nice place and people The air conditioner would only go as low as 66 degrees, which kept the room warm with 4 people.
Great hotel. I have an older son and a three year old. This is the hotel for us. Slightly dirty bathroom and had to call for soap.
It was clean and nice . Breakfast was good. They gave our room away and put us in a handicapped room.
-We booked a King bed only to be told that the fine print says that it is subject to availability -The beds were very uncomfortable double beds. They sunk-in towards the middle and felt very worn. -The next door shower from the adjoining room was super loud early in the morning and woke us up -Our bathroom has a huge roach in it. I had to call the front desk twice to get them to do anything about it. Then, a supposed Manager came into the room with a towel and grabbed the pest only to say to us "Every guest has to pay its dues". There was no cleaning, no apologies and no restitution. Avoid this place.
The hotel room was very clean. The bed was comfortable and the shower had plenty of room. I would stay here again here in the future.
Loved the price and location. Very friendly staff and clean rooms... Everything was great!!!
The location couldn't be more perfect, right next to six flags, rangers ball park, at stadium, and hurricane harbor. Staff very friendly. Great value and experience over all. There was a weird smell in the room, part of the bed was broken.
Very close to the airport, the only way I could sleep was with the tv on to distract from the plane noise and even then every time a plane took off it woke me up. There were bugs in my bathroom- certainly doesn't scream luxury. I ordered room service and called the front desk for a microwave safe plate- I had to go to the lobby to get it. They did not refill my coffee. The only good thing was the free wifi
The location Walking distance to Ball park. The staff at check in was not helpful. Bathroom light was out, Called to have it fixed took awhile and light still didn't work till following day. The bathroom had patch work. I left my phone and they could mail it to me of I sent them a prepaid envelope. I paid the cab driver an additional 30 dollars cash to bring it to airport with his next fare.
Excellent service from guest attendant. I appreciated the arrangement of taxis for customers going to the game. Limited selection at continental breakfast. No coffee maker in rooms.
Staff, wifi, bed, cable, and A/C Smell of mildew in hallways and deadbolt to room didn't work
The value for my money was great! Rooms were much better than expected; clean and modern. Walls are pretty solid as I could faintly hear conversations in the hallway but not from the adjoining rooms. King bed was well made with clean linen; bathroom was a bit small but modern and functional. It took no time to get hot water. The location is well placed but sort of hard to find for anyone traveling to Dallas for the first time. Parking lot was adequate for a Thursday night stay but I can foresee parking issues on a weekend. The iron in the room is actually securely attached to the ironing board which made it very difficult to iron (and who would steal an iron anyway?). The ice machine (only one inthe hotel) is located on the third floor. Even though that isn't a showstopper, I felt it was worth mentioning.
Room was really nice and clean. Had everthing you needed for a nice comfortable stay. Location was good from where we were going. The front desk clerk seemed as if she was on her 24th hour at work. Looked extremely tired, wasn't friendly, and seemed as if she'd rather be home in bed.
The room was clean and adequate for my needs. A little small and not luxurious but good for the price.
I liked how close it was to the Ball park stadium we were going to. He lady at the front desk was incredibly rude. She had a really bad attitude for no reason at all towards us. Very poor customer service!
It was good I was a little worried at first but the rooms were clean and it was super close to all the attractions. I would stay again There was a 4.86 fee when checking in
1.They get you in and out quickly if you have a reservation. 2. Great food close by. 3. good access to freeways and amusements I eat a high protein breakfast - not here.
Location - not walking distance to AT&T but can walk to six flags and Globe Park Terrible room. It was dirty, smelled, lacked basic amenities like hangers and the hotel could not make us a key our entire stay. That's right, we had a room but had to get hotel staff to let us into our room. Kind of ruins the point of having a private room if you have to get staff to let you in every time you go to store or run out for a bit. Their breakfast is supposed to run until 9:30, but at 9 AM they were picking up most of the breakfast - and remind you, we didn't get a key which didn't concern them but they were concerned that breakfast ended early. Avoid this hotel. I've stayed in plenty of low-cost hotels but this one truly deserves the title dump.
Staff was very friendly and helpful. When my first room hadn't been cleaned yet, they moved me before I could even ask. My second room featured a carpet that smelled like urine, strong enough that I smelled it while lying in bed. A previous client's washcloth was still bunched up in the shower curtain. I wasn't charged extra for it, though!
Let's see... The room was dirty, yet the whole lobby and elevator smelled so strongly of cleaning products, that I actually felt faint on the 2 story ride up the elevator. The television didn't work - made terrible humming and was all squiggly. They didn't even have a shower mat, which is hazardous. They tried to make us check out because they had us in the wrong room. There was literally what appeared to be a piece of poop in the stairwell, which was not cleaned up during the two days we were there. The elevator barely worked. There was very little parking, the pool was disgusting, and that about sums it up.
Location Needs remodeling
Convenience to freeway Needs a remodel badly
The best part was we were able to walk to the park There was a dirty washcloth hanging from the shower curtain rod and a towel with blood on it on the floor by the bathtub when we checked in...also, the rate I was promised on kayak was not the price I was charged (and no, it was not a taxes issue)....
Only pluses I could find were the location (near door to Six Flags) and the availability of trolley service to Globe Life Park and Cowboy Stadium, so we didn't have to pay for parking. Room had not been vacuumed; carpet was torn and stained; bathtub drain opener/closer was broken; entertainment center/dresser looked like it came from a garage sale; ice machine on our floor was out of order; elevator creaked and moaned; toilet seat was broken.
Refrigerator wasn't working Carpet was stained and patched Roaches
Dirty room, hallway smelly, bathroom old and small, breakfast hits 9:00 am and they literally pick up everything and take them inside, even with a room full of people without any advise and start shutting off the lights so you have no more option than leave.
Absolutely nothing Not clean. Even a little. I had to wipe down the hair in the bath tub. The room overwhelmingly smelled of smoke all weekend. In a non smoking room. Hair in the towels and pillows. Chairs had "human" stains not sure of what source. This was just disgusting.
Nothing. The hotel lobby, elevator and hallways smelled of death. The room smelled of death with a mix of smoke. The bathroom door wouldn't lock. The light over the sink was so dim you couldn't see yourself in the mirror so we used it as a night light. The pillow cases were all mixed matched. The entire experience was bizarre. Even the stains gave me the creeps, as if someone really had died in my room. Never again will I return.
The hotel is tucked back off Lamar Blvd, so it's pretty quiet. The facilities are nice, though the fitness center could use more and newer equipment. I didn't use the indoor hot tub, nor take advantage of the continental breakfast. Rooms are comfortable and clean. I'd rate the hotel higher, if not for the surprise $10 charge for "incidentals". Incidentals are supposed to be per-item charges for beverages and snacks that are in your in-room fridge, with a price list attached. In this case, however, it's just Wyndham going for a slightly better margin on a room. There was no mention of an "incidentals" fee when I made the reservation, and the practice is borderline false advertising. I'd pre-paid for the room to get a special rate, then Wyndham gouged me for another $10 at check-in, eliminating the savings.
The front desk allowed us to check in early. The room was too cold when we arrived.
Quiet large rooms. Close to everything we asked for. Very friendly and helpful staff
The housekeepers did a great job, the room was alright, the location was really good. During check in there was something going on with the phones and the front desk person was frustrated with it. There were also noisy people down the hall from us that woke us up a couple of times.
It's close to six flags and has a shuttle to get you there and back!!! The room was not clean had spider webs all over the room, dirty pillows was on the bed, and hair was in our sheets. They could not even give us a new room.
The fact that I left the room and I was cleaned but my gold rings were moved and I have tried to contact someone about my items... I know it was bad weather but I couldn't get to the door being handicapped and all . I would just like someone to explain and be concerned about my items..
I liked the fact that they had a complimentary shittle service to/from DFW airport. I also liked the friendliness of the staff. The quality of the room was also decent. Overall, this was a good hotel for the money I paid. No ATM machine in the hotel lobby. I had to walk across the parking lot (in the rain) to another hotel just to get some cash.
It was very easy to check in and out no complications. I got to check in early than regular check in time. The room was clean and spacious. The bed was very comfortable. I loved reading the little cards they had around the room to learn about going green on the items there. Overall I was impressed. Plus a bonus you are close to six flags, Ripley's believe it or not, rangers stadium, and at&t stadium home of the cowboys. I got a good deal on the price too.
The internet sevice was not free, I was annoyed because most of the hotel even less rated hotels offer internet sevice free of charge
Can not review - we did not stay at the hotel. My husband got sick and we were unable to make the trip to Arlington.
Everything about the Hilton was good. Especially for the cost. We really enjoyed staying there. Nothing.
The location of the hotel was very convenient for the event we were attending. The shuttle service made our trip more enjoyable. We had a room full of ladybugs. There were live ones all over and dead ones on the floor in various locations throughout the room.
Hotel room was clean with plenty of room. The restaurant staff were friendly. Not responsive to requests. Had to repeatedly ask for additional towels. Only provided decaf coffee in room.
Nice facilities. Nice room. Staff aloof and distracted at check in. Room service stopped 90 minutes earlier than advertised. They were overwhelmed due a storm and a special event, and they just stopped answering the phone.
The location, staff, facilities, and beds were amazing. The staff during check in and out were both so friendly and helpful. We had trouble with the tv remote and purchasing a movie and the lady that hel D at check out went above and beyond what one would expect to rectify the situation. Had a small problem with the tv remote. It didn't work properly. But it could have been me.
Awesome staff helped with all my quetions
our stay was overall good. But the beds take a little bit of getting used to. we will know how to operate them for next time!
We had a very nice evening, going to the Rangers/Yankees game one Saturday -- Really enjoyed the staff and the cocktails. And the Breakfast the next morning. Great pool for kids! Thanks y'all...
Location nearby entertainment and business areas; easy access to freeways to travel around Arlington and Metroplex. Rooms very comfortable and have small refrigerator and microwave to bring your own food in. Coffee maker. Whole Foods and several groceries nearby; Starbucks nearby. Staff was very very helpful, courteous anxious to please. At every shift. Arrived at midnight on Sunday night of three day weekend; older teens walking around and smelled marijuana outside. Made me a little nervous going in. If you are a single adult professional would not suggest going on three day weekend-lots of older teens hanging around common areas. Made me as a woman traveling alone uncomfortable/nervous although staff very nice.
It was convenient to the stadium & they offered a shuttle (for 20.00) round trip to the game.
As soon as we walked through the doors we were greeted with a friendly 'Hello.' The staff was always pleasant and very helpful. Room was HUGE!! and very clean. The shower head was located up high, which is great for my 6'4' husband. He didn't have to duck! Only 2 complaints. We were next to the elevator, couldn't hear much from other guest but the doors would ding ALL THE TIME! Is the ding even necessary?!?! The restaurant speed. There was only 1 other family there when we went in, but the food took FOREVER! (45 mins. for a burger and pasta) Though the waiter was friendly and it all tasted great. We will stay again though :)
We stayed in a king suite during spring break 2010 and it was great. Plenty of room. It was my husband and I and 3 children. Two 11 year olds and one 4 year old. We booked the room through *. Super simple. When we arrived I just showed the front desk my ID and credit card. Then off to our room. Super simple again. We all loved the room. There was a large flat screen tv in the room where the bed was. And did I mention that the bed was soooo comfortable? OMG it was, as were the pillows which were labeled firm and soft. There was not a TV in the liv. room, which we knew ahead of time, so we brought a portable TV for the kids to watch VHS and DVD'S on. The living room had a queen size or full pull out couch which the kids slept on. The swimming pool and exercise room were both great. The swimming pool was warm and the hot tub was hot. We went there every evening after walking around six flags all day. We all crashed hard when we got back to the room. The workout room was large with flat screens around the room . Although I brought my bicycle and road around the new DC football stadium and the Richard Greene Linear Park which had beautiful biking/walking trails. Also rode by the Texas Ranger Stadium and Six Flags. I am so looking forward to a return visit! I forgot to mention the sports grill. We all loved the food. And the kids had a blast playing pool and they also had a Wii set up on one of the flatscreens.
We stayed here while visiting Dallas for a Mavs game, because we wanted to see the new Texas Stadium. The hotel is very nice, very clean, and very quiet. It had everything we wanted in a motel. The road construction is a huge issue, but that is to be expected with all that is going on. Once we figured it out, we had few problems over our 3 night stay. It is a bit out of the way if your activities are in Dallas, but for the Arlington area, it is awesome!
We stayed here while we went to Hurricane Harbor & Six Flags. Very convient to take the trolley everyday, saved alot on parking! The only problem I had with the hotel was the first room we were put in had a cricket problem. I don't like bugs and I defintely don't like bugs in my bed!!!!! We were finally moved to another room for the last night of our stay, wish it would have been sooner. Also, there was absolutley no hot water in the shower in either room. Other than that, rooms were great, staff was great and helpful!
This was my second time to stay at this Hotel, we loved it the first time and the second stay was just as good if not better. The staff at both the Hotel and Lounge are excellent. Was a little pricey but being so close to the Cowboys Stadium it was worth it. Barbara Lakeland, FL
The hotel was clean and located close to everything we wanted. The only drawback was that I booked a room with two queen beds a week in advance. Upon arrival was told that they only had rooms with kings and a sleeper sofa available. I had to take it since there was no way I wanted to drive around Arlington looking for an available room at the last minute.
Its was so nice and awesome! and the Staff was Awesome! only things i would change is to put a pool outside, the inside one is great but very cold but good...also the food and service in the resturant was not the best but I didnt judge the hotel on that...overall we really liked it and it was very conveinent for what we were there to do.
This hotel was the best ever, great location, excellent service from the staff. ___ at the front desk went out of his way to make sure we got to the Cowboys game when the local trolley messed up. Took us right over in the hotel van to the main gate, way to go ___.....There was construction in the area but other than that gets 5 stars from me!!!!!!! Bed was so comfortable, slept great.
A good hotel for the money. beds are confortable and very clean room, they are very busy so dont expect a lot of help from the satff.
The staff was friendly and professional. The rooms were clean and comfortable. It's located close to Cowboy Stadium.
My husband and I stayed at the Holiday Inn the weekend of the Tim McGraw concert and Dallas Cowboys bash at the Dallas Cowboy stadium. The hotel was located in walking distance of the Cowboys stadium, Ranger stadium and Six Flags, the hotel also offered shuttle to everything except Dallas Cowboy stadium but however my husband and I went ahead and walked needed the exercise anyway because we ate supper at Hooter's. All kinds of restaurants and fast food located across the highway from this hotel all in walking distance, Walmart is also just down the road. This hotel was very clean, staff very polite. Oh my the bed, we slept like babies it was very quiet there!! The restroom was huge had a very large walkin shower!! The hotel was very large and very comfortable. Had internet access in the room, refrigerator, and a microwave, also had a large screen television with a very good selection of channels to watch. An last here the price of the room was very good. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone needing a place to stay in Arlington, Texas.
How close it is to Cowboy Stadium I didn't like that they advertise the walking distance to the stadium ...yet they don't mention that unless you are staying the night of the game you cannot park at the hotel. If there's availability they can issue you a parking pass for $20.
We enjoyed staying at your hotel. The room was neat and clean and the matress was ok. The bedding was not luxury as the internet advertised and that was the reason we chose your hotel. We especially enjoyed the made to order breakfast, it was very good.
Very easy to get to, and conveniently located near places of interest for me. Beds not comfortable. TV reception was in and out.
I absolutely loved the exercise room. It helped me stay in shape. I liked the coffee pot in the room, the excellent professional and friendly courtesy of the staff. The breakfast was very good. The plaza area is beautiful with all those living green things. The pool was delightful with all those changing colors. Proximity to excellent local restaurants was very good. There is plenty of comfortable furniture in the common areas. Loved the suite area and wet bar and refrigerator. I had wished the breakfast came with the room, and it seemed a bit on the expensive side, but since there is a refrigerator in the rooms and wet bar, that is not a problem.

This is a nice hotel. The room was spacious, just didn't get the room I was suppose to. Yes we had a terrible time . The night we got there, they sent us to a different hotel and then we had to pack all our stuff up the next day and go back to this hotel. When we back to this hotel they didn't have the room I booked with two queens beds.

We love Hampton Inns. No
Location was great and room was big. Took 20 minutes to check in which was totally unacceptable. We almost missed our event which really would have ruined our trip. TV in room was too small for room size.
It advertised a small icebox in the room. It did not work. They had it unplugged and when I plugged it in it still didn't work. Wasn't too thrilled with the tv channel selection. Mostly Spanish speaking channels. Probably would choose somewhere else next
The room was clean and neat. I reserved a room with a queen bed and sofa bed couch for three people, got a confirmation number and when we arrived the room had been given to somebody else and there were no more rooms available like that. We had to settle for a king bed,not good for 3
The bed was comfortable and everything in the room was clean. The room was pretty small, but it was fine. Hotel staff was nice but could have been a bit more professional.
I liked the great staff and their friendliness, I liked the room's cleanliness, and I really loved the showers. Standing showers on a budget! Also great location and the view of Six Flags lit up at night is gorgeous. The sounds of Six Flags gets old and the Wi-Fi is a little slow for GF streaming but that's not a huge deal. Could have used thicker towels and the breakfast area was a little small. These are minor issues, though, and didn't affect the quality of the stay.
The service was very helpful Bathroom door was broke and the microwave didn't work and our key cards didn't work as well
location the European bed pillows. Too small. Give the customer either a queen size or king size pillow to match the bed. I know it is easier to have one size for all so the pillow cases are consistent, but the europillows are awful. No hot breakfast. In today's competitive environment, when you have restaurants all around the hotel and, to keep up with the competition, a hot breakfast should be offered. Continental is nice but other hotels with similar facilities are offering hot breakfast.
Location and beds were comfortable After travel comfort of beds important.
