Pros (+) Only a short ride from the Grover Beach Amtrak, Arroyo Village Inn puts you in prime position to eat breakfast at the Village Cafe, see the village bridge (which is closed for repairs, but stil viewable), and hear the AG roosters rousing all. The Inn offers well-priced, big rooms that easily accommodate riders, their bikes, and their gear.
Cons (-) The Arroyo Village Inn is perfect as a budget pitstop, with very friendly staff -- great on a bike tour, but maybe not enough amenities for an extended/more leisurely stay.
Pros (+) It was perfect for what we needed. It's nothing fancy, but suited it's purpose. Quit, low key, and close to downtown, fuel and highway. The owner/manager was friendly and allowed us to check-in early. The bed was double wrapped and clean, which was a concern for my fiancé. Over all we had an Amazing trip.
Cons (-) My fiancé is 6'6" and his knees touched the wall when he sat on the toilet. Although, I was amused by it. No clock in room.
