Pros (+) The rooms must have been upgraded lately because it was much nicer than the other reviews had me expecting. Granite-like counter tops in the bathroom and shower, big bolster on the bed and memory foam pillows. I was very comfortable and happy.
Pros (+) We didn't expect much with a two star rating. We were surprised to find that everything is new and clean. No funky smell at all. The bathroom is granite so no sticky plastic tub, it's clean and many steps above most motels. Highly recommended.
Pros (+) This facility was clean. There were electrical outlets and ports everywhere! It was the first time on our trip that we weren't scrambling for places to plug our devices in. The water was soft and the temperature hot. The updates they did are outstanding. The hotel is owned by a very nice and hard working couple. Although this isn't a 5 star resort, it is a fantastic value for the price we paid!
Cons (-) Breakfast was minimal, but adequate. The hotel is right along the freeway, but the noise was well buffered and made for a good background sleeping sound with the large sliding door closed.
