Excellent 9.0
Pros: The common inside space was very comfortable, as was the patio area. A great place to get some work done and the staff were great - accomodated my very late arrival.
Cons: The road up to the place is bad - not that this is the property's fault and it wouldn't stop me revisiting, but its worth ensuring you're in a car that can cope.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: So homely, friendly and helpful. Excellent home prepared meals. Home from home with small number of guest rooms, comfortable sitting room with extensive library, patio, tropical garden. Very knowledgeable naturalist/safari American proprietor. Secure, quiet and spacious property. Wonderful birdsong. Resident tortoises, geckos,, chameleons. Windows screened against any insects. Good local tour recommendation
Excellent 8.0
Pros: This is the third time we have stayed here and it never disappoints. Excellent dinner and breakfast and very friendly and welcoming staff. The location is quiet, with a secluded garden. The rooms are simple but comfortable.
Cons: Road access through the back streets of Arusha is a little challenging and I would not want to attempt it without a 4x4. The water pressure in the shower could be better.
Good 7.9
Pros: The property is quiet and peaceful and there is a small but nice and secluded garden. The staff are welcoming and friendly. The whole place has a very cozy feel.
Cons: Considering that the facilities are fairly basic, the price is on the high side. The access road is quite rough and I would not like to attempt it without a 4x4.
Excellent 8.3
Pros: Great and personal service very homely atmosphere felt like staying with family or friends very helpful and informative
Cons: A bit isolated
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Completely wonderful
Cons: The road to get to the house is a bit difficult
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Awesome place to stay in Arusha. The staffs are really friendly and helpful. Very delicious breakfast and dinner cooked up by Eddie and Joseph. Highly recommended :)
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The room is clean, and they serve delicious dinners. The position is optimal, less than 30 minutes to Arusha airport even with traffic. This is my second visit.
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Lovely oasis lovely place! Staff..all of them are wonderful and so kind! I feel very safe and well taken care of! Very quiet place to rest after a climb/safari or just to unwind before flying out... It feels like home!!! Love the pups too..
Cons: Location is ok if you do not plan to wonder off on foot to explore town... Even by car is a way n roads r bad...

Excellent 9.0
Pros: The comfort of the bed and the room. The owner is an excellent host that personally takes care of all his clients. His willingness to help people with connections, food, visits, transport... The cleaness of the place. The taste of the decoration and the beautiful garden. The warm atmosphere of a guesthouse as opposed to a hotel.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Innocent is best host ever, we didn’t miss anything. Safari was also well organized, definately recommend one night trip to Ngorongoro crater. House and garden is really nice and well maintained. Extra probs for cook, excellent breakfast!
Cons: Road to house is not the best, I wouldn’t try to drive :D
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Innocent, Steve and Castro(the dog!) made our stay fantastic. We wish we knew about the place sooner. Innocent (owner) helped us with any query, and was refreshingly honest (I. E. Which activities would suit us). The place is really relaxed, clean and green. Lovely breakfast too - thanks Steve. Good firm beds, good WiFi and a warm shower. It is a little tricky to find however, so download maps.me and the Tanzania map to find it.
Cons: Nothing!
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Amazing place, amazing staff (and dog) !Amazing safari booked with Innocent. Merci
Excellent 10.0
Pros: We loved it all! The hostel manager became a great friend of us, he has great social skills, taking care of everybody and makes his place feel like a home. We spend a great day with each other, he was showing us around a lot and proved his off-road driving skills :) if you are looking for someone making you have a great time, choose him! We'll miss him a lot! Looking forward to see each other again!
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Innocent and his dog Castro are awesome. I spent time with him just about every day going into town for dinner and shopping. He was awesome to hang out with and full of knowledge. I used his safari recommendations etc and it saved me a lot of time and the safari was excellent. I also booked my kilaminjaro trip through him as well.
Cons: The location is a little bit out of town but not to far. Definitely download maps.me Google maps will not get you there
Excellent 10.0
Pros: very friendly and informative staff. The owner fixed everything for us and was very friendly. The dog castro was super cool.

Excellent 9.6
Pros: Jay and his family were very welcoming, and even made us a delicious dinner when we got in from the airport at 10pm! His home is a hidden gem in Arusha, we stayed there for a night before leaving for our safari. We stayed in the room with two bunk beds, the largest and most comfortable bunk beds I’ve ever slept in!
Excellent 9.2
Pros: From deep down my heart, Jay - the host, deserves a 7 star! That says enough
Good 6.7
Pros: Clean, nice staff, safe and secure.
Cons: The place didnt have a sign. To enter you need to knock on the gate. Location.
Excellent 9.2
Pros: It’s a very clean and comfortable Guesthouse with extremely friendly staff. Jamal is very caring and super friendly. The breakfast was superb!
Cons: The outside area is quite small, but all clean and nice.
Excellent 9.2
Pros: Breakfast was awesome and fresh. The beds and pillows were excellent, we had a really comfortable sleep. The shower also worked great. The price was pocket friendly
Cons: We had some initial problems with WiFi but they were resolved after discussion.
Okay 4.5
Pros: Staff was very welcoming.
Cons: Hidden location.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The serene and quite environment which is homely
Cons: No TV
Excellent 9.2
Pros: Very friendly owner, clean rooms and great breakfast!
Excellent 10.0
Pros: We chose this place as it was walking distance from our car rental but this was much better than expected. It was spotlessly clean, very safe and quiet and the breakfast was amazing. The host couldn’t be more helpful and he’s super knowledgable on the park visits which is a blessing when you are travelling independently.
Cons: No sign on the door so it took a while to find. This is to keep off unwanted callers so fair enough as this is what makes the place so safe and peaceful.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Very clean, comfortable, friendly, excellent food, would stay there again.
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Host J is incredibly welcoming and friendly. Beautiful appointed rooms. Great meals offered. Quiet.
Cons: J told me he would get a buzzer system installed for the front gate which would make everything perfect.

Excellent 9.6
Pros: Lovely place, everyone is so willing to please you. Benson (the owner) is always wanting to make sure you're comfortable and happy to help if you need anything - he even offered to show us around the city and to take us to the bus station at the end of our stay.
Cons: The cat can come into the room in the middle of the night if you don't shut the windows!
Excellent 9.0
Pros: The host was flexible and good for planning us the activities for the day
Cons: The price of the drinks were so much expensive than the supermarket and we ask for a room for four persons only and they give us a room for eight
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Super friendly, lovely complimentary food, lovely spacs
Good 7.9
Pros: Great veggie food, really nice staff, good being a part of a non-touristic community. (there are a couple of bars / local restaurants around the corner, and a church for afterwards).
Cons: The place is a little tired and could do with some basic maintenance. Water flow in the dorm's bathroom is a trickle.
Good 7.9
Pros: The atmosphere was The Best and the staff was great! We felt very welcomed and the helpfull staff helped us always when we were in need. Benson organized the safari and a daytrip for us near the mt. Meru and everything went smoothly. Breakfast and dinner was included and they were yammy.
Cons: The only thing we didn't like was the location, but the owner gave us a ride pretty much always when we needed. The wifi didn't work occasionally. We couldnt charge our phones etc in the room, that needed to be done on the common area.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: they’re very friendly and the place is very good i will recommend this place
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Staying at the Greenhouse was like staying at home. The owner, Benson, is an amazing guy who is willing to help you with whatever you need. Diana and Seline are amazing cookers and people too. The place is really nice, calm and confortable. You will enjoy it
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The greenhouse hostel is a very cozy and clean place to stay in Arusha. It’s very easy to get there by daladala or pikipiki. I liked that it’s not in the center, so during the night it was very quiet and besides there are a lot of shops and bars very near. The staff was amazing, they make you really feel like your at home. The food was very good and enough and I enjoyed the hot shower after 6 weeks of cold showers in another town here. The owner Benson is always there if you need any help and makes every trip, no matter how spontaneous, possible. I highly recommend this place and I would go there again for any trip to Arusha.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: This place feels like home, Benson the owner and Celina made my trip even better. They organize my safari and Kilimanjaro climbing for the best price too, breakfast and dinner where included which is great.

Excellent 10.0
Pros: The Staff! Everyone was absolutely delightful and helpful. They communicated with us through their online chat and WhatsApp. Whatever we needed they provided. They even sent a driver to a hotel to pick up a scarf I left in the middle of the night. Bed was so comfy and the food was great!
Excellent 8.8
Pros: Cozy get away from the intense teaffic and noise in and around Arusha. If you’re coming from Nairobi airport by bus it’s a perfect location snd startibg point for safari in Serengeti. And even coming from other directions it’s a good stop over for safari in Serengeti/Ngorongoro. Good value for money in Arusha and more cozy than the options in most central parts of Arusha.
Cons: The breakfast can be improved, ok but not more. The premises are a bit old but still in good enough condition.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Swimming pool, friendly staff, great breakfast
Cons: Access to the hotel is through a rough road and the area outside is dirty!
Excellent 8.3
Pros: Nice hotel, comfortable, clean, modern. Shower was good and clean. Restaurant was very good.
Cons: We didn‘t really leave the hotel, but the area around the hotel didn‘t look „walk friendly“.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: The staff were very helpful, they prepared a take away breakfast for us, provided everything we need.
Cons: The shower was not hot all the time
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The staff were all so friendly and helpful, and very accommodating as we had to make last minute changes to our stay. The rooms were a good size and very clean. Full buffet breakfast included plus a great restaurant at the property.

Good 6.7
Pros: Beautiful facilities. We wanted a resort stay over Christmas this year. After roughing it on safari, this hotel was a good change. The staff!! They were so kind and helpful. They went above and beyond decorating our room for our honeymoon. They didn’t let us lift a finger the whole time. They even invited us to the Christmas Day block party. We were the only white people (lol) but we had a good time. We were well cared for.
Cons: The location — the hotel is beautiful but to get to it, you have to take a ten minute drive up a dirt bumpy bumpy bumpy !! Road. Quite steep too I might add. So be prepared. The shower— the showers need a major renovation. The drain was slimy and brown and had an odour.
Mediocre 3.3
Pros: Nothing
Cons: The first room was dirty, they moved us to another which the bed was weak and noisy and very uncomfortable. At checkout we were charged 16 dollars more than what was to be charged as per booking.com and they did not want to know, saying it is booking.coms fault. No value for money at this hotel. The road to the hotel is horrible for low cars.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: I have nothing but gratitude to Team Tanzania bush camps for an absolutely remarkable Safari experience. Right from Valence (safari guide) and his amazing skills, warm attitude and genuine love and respect for the national park to the cozy clean and beautiful ambience at the camp site- we loved every little moment at Serengeti and it is because of Tanzania Bush camps. The service at the campsite has left us speechless! It was beyond our wildest expectation, every need was treated as their own and we were treated as friends coming home! Though we were in Serengeti only for 2 nights, but they have left a lasting impression on us. We will be back and we will definitely stay with Tanzania Bush Camps!
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The hotel is very spacious, situated in a silent area but quite close to the center, room was big and comfortable, very clean, staff was very helpful and friendly.
Excellent 9.2
Pros: The place..quiet one far from noise
Cons: No hot water in the morning when I was rush to the office
Excellent 8.3
Pros: My wife and I stayed at Masailand 3 nights over a 3 week period, each visit was terrific. The staff are very friendly and they were very encouraging about our trek up Mt Kilimanjaro. The rooms were clean and very quiet, breakfast was ample and tasty and the pool area was a terrific place to enjoy a nice cod beer while waiting for our flight on the last day.
Cons: One drawback is the location which is on a hillside a bit of a drive up a bumpy, dusty backroad from central Arusha, you may feel you are going nowhere but once you arrive it's worth it. One advantage to the location is how very quiet it is and you can arrange transportation to town with the check in desk staff if you have time for a bit of shopping.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: I don't believe you could of found a much better location. The beach is beautiful.
Cons: The only small comment is the service needs to be faster. That said I am English and we all know how much English people like to rush!
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The whole hotel from the room to the bar, pool and The people and the food. Very very good. We had a 2 day stop after a long safari and it was perfect. The bar also had a great variety of drinks. The food was very well cooked.

Good 7.9
Pros: The pool, the big comfy beds, hot water, good pressure. Pool staff nice. Prices for food and drink were super reasonable. The veg pizza was AMAZING. Had it twice. Nice TV with Netflix if you can figure it out. Early check-in and out if they’re not busy
Cons: The restaurant was open, but I sat for a while and no one came, had to order from the front desk. I’m more upset as I noted a lot of “stuff” on the walls of the bathroom as well as a ton of ants in the corners in the bathroom, as well as stuff on the mosquito nets as well. The towels weren’t clean and the bed sheets were actually ripped. The staff was nice, but the English wasn’t the best, but they’re always smiling.
Excellent 9.2
Pros: The ambiance and the serenity of the environment
Cons: Breakfast lacked variety and quality
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Amazing stay, the most value for money during our month I Tanzania. Food in hotel restaurant really good.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Great hotel in a very quiet location. Good service, staff very friendly & helpful. Breakfast substantial, good choice. As the rainy season few guests felt I had hotel all to myself,
Cons: Nothing
Good 7.5
Pros: The staff was very nice and friendly.
Cons: Wifi didnt work in the room at all. In the lobby and restaurant it worked quite ok.
Good 7.1
Pros: The hotel is very quiet, close to the Arusha airport- 5 minutes drive. There is also a good view of Mount Meru. I was dropped off at the airport early - 6:00 am in the morning, to catch flight to Serengeti and the few staff working at the hotel are generally friendly. I received a wake-up call as requested.
Cons: The ac in the first room I was assigned wasn't working and I was moved to another. In this room the TV didn't work. I didn't receive change for purchases from the bar. At the time of the visit there were hardly any guests and there were very very few hotel staff.
