10.0 Excellent
Pros: Convenient location and very friendly personnel
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The location and sea view was amazing. We loved the apartment and decided to stay another night. Staff were very friendly and helpful offering useful tips and advice about how to get around and a quiet beach to go to. The breakfast was the best we have had in our 2 week stay in morroco.
Cons: It would have been more accomdating if an iron was available in the apartment. Unfortunately the amazing view comes at a price - it's on a main road and it did get a little loud on our first night. It would be more of a problem if you are a light sleeper. However once I fell asleep it was fine.
8.0 Excellent
Cons: Shower was not possible to use without making a flood on the floor and no drain in bathroom
9.5 Excellent
Pros: New resort and friendly staff

Pros: Very clean and spacious room. Excellent view facing the Atlantic. Short walk to the Medina or beach. The reception lady spoke very good English and told us a lot about the place.
Cons: Regrettably we do not speak French and other than the only reception lady who helped with our check-in, other staff might have difficulties communicating in English and miscommunications could arise.

Cons: N/A
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Renovated from a large home into a boutique hotel. Decent breakfast available for reasonable price. Walking distance from main corniche and restaurants. Beds were ok (two singles pushed together) and clean.
Cons: Bathrooms were ok, but could've been better. No shower door or curtain left the whole floor wet. No bell hop or service with bags and they only have a long winding staircase to get up to the rooms.
6.8 Good
Pros: This was a stop after our vacation in Morocco to the northern coast. It was a fabulous stop for us and we enjoyed this riad. It was clean and refreshing - just what was required to break our trip north. The room was small but clean and the staff accommodating.
Cons: The rooms were a little on the small side and the location of the riad was a 15-minute walk from the city and medina. The bed was comfortable and the internet worked well. The area was ok but a little rough.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The room is very clean and comfort. We booked a double suit and it finally gave us a triple room with bigger size. The location is great as well. It just next to the beach where we enjoy the beautiful sunset.

Pros: The staff there are super friendly and helpful! They even helped us prepare omelette on our request using the eggs we brought ourselves. Rooms are quite warm as well!
Cons: The only downside is the location. It’s not easy to find and the road leading to the place is quite bumpy! So be prepared.
7.0 Good
Pros: A very quaint tucked away location in the hills. the suite like our own little cave. Breakfast was simply but plentiful. Service was nice. And the resident dog Lola was super cute. The storks nesting in the roof were also very entertaining.
Cons: Finding it was hard. The dirt road leading up to it was very bumpy and our driver complained and asked for more money (he was not the property driver)

Pros: The decoration was superb. Wonderful breakfast. Very nice staff
Cons: Difficult road to arrive
10.0 Excellent
Pros: RACHIDA the Owner/Manager is JUST PERFECT! I used tu call her (just kidding/joking) LA "CONSULE DE BERBARI" :-)
Cons: The emplacement which is enough far from "Assilah city" to be REALLY totally inside nature. That makes a REAL différence!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Awesome eco-lodge overlooking the hills of the Moroccon country side. You wake up to the sounds of nature waking up - truly breathtaking! Prepare to go off-road though for couple miles off the main road. I'd also recommend this is suitable especially for those who are hiring a car. The staff are fabulous and super friendly and are responsive to some special request. They can cook a dinner or lunch too, there's a little menu there you can order from with decent prices. Tasty breakfast and coffee served too. Icing on the cake: the storks and the turtles hidden in the grounds! Our suite was brilliant too for the whole family. Everyone loved it!

Pros: Rooms a great and parking available. Bathroom was so nice and loved the shower!
Cons: A little removed from the center of the city but really not a big deal since we didn’t have a car. Would have been nice if staff were trained to do Moroccan mint tea for the morning breakfast as it is Morocco. A little was lost in that moment.

Cons: Could do with some black out blinds in the private room as the street lights are quite bright. Quite noisy with the building works going on in the area when we stayed, but that's not the fault of the hostel.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I really liled the stuff and specially ANNA she was very kind and humble ... She's the kind of person u want to meet in ur trip May Allah bless her
Cons: Nothing everything was great
10.0 Excellent
Pros: MIA is Great hostel. I highly recommend it. Is clean, the staff who are for the most part international volunteers were great and location is very good, easy walk to the Medina.
Cons: WiFi was not working on my floor but was available on the main area. As I told the staff they need to remove the WiFi signs posted on the walls as some had wrong passwords. Better not to have anything displayed if it is not accurate. I tried so many times to log in to later find out it was wrong.

Cons: I was one person but was given a room with a double and two other beds. The wi-fi in the room was patchy. There were no complimentary toiletries at all, not even a small bar of soap for the sink.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Pleasant little hotel in lovely Asilah. The owner/manager was warm, friendly, and helpful. We really liked our room. Very spacious and comfortable. We enjoyed eating our simple breakfast on the patio. Located right next to a busy street with a fair amount of traffic, but quiet after dark and not really an issue for us. A short walk to town and other restaurants, and the beach is just a few minutes away.

9.3 Excellent
Pros: Ideal location opposite the entrance to Assilah Medina. Quaint small hotel, basic amenities, owner and staff are very friendly and helpful. Very good value for money. Not luxury but clean, friendly and convenient. This is our fourth stay at Patio de Luna, we feel very much at home there.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Convenient location just outside the medina. Our room was large and the property is cool and leafy. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
Cons: The room had a rather peculiar damp-ish smell which was quite strong. The booking.com info said the room had a private terrace. Well, the stairs came up to the terrace, which accessed not only our room but also two storage/cleaners rooms, and then from the opposite corner of the terrace another set of stairs went up to the roof and laundry lines. In the course of sitting there for even an hour or so, staff members came and went to the storerooms and up and down to the roof terrace several times, and another guest came through to access the roof terrace Not really all that private.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Great location and very helpful staff. The property was beautiful with a terrace that had views and a patio/courtyard that was welcoming.
Cons: Bed was uncomfortable compared to what we were used to. I slept fine but my fiancé didn’t sleep well. Our room had good airflow with windows but no screens so when we shut them at night, having no fans or AC had an impact.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: A very beautiful place with a unique flair. Pleasant rooms and terraces, perfect for a few relaxing days at the sea. Antonio, the owner is very helpful whenever needed.
Cons: The mattresses were saggy.
9.3 Excellent

6.3 Good
Pros: The staff and the design of the hotel
Cons: there is no AC and air circulation inside the room, No parking spots
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very nice cosy place. Cool staff. Clean rooms. The location is perfect, near La Kasbah and city facilities (restaurants, cafés...).
6.3 Good
Pros: Good location, the owner (probably, not sure) was very sweet though do not speak english
Cons: No AC, super hot, can hear everyhing what is hapening outside, not the cleanest place, room reminded more of a shed in a remote island than a proper room, drainage in a shower poor, room itself had a moldy smell as well as the smell from the bathroom, patio is not private. Really sad to write such review, however value for money is really poor
5.5 Okay
Pros: The hotel is well located opposite the Medina, surrounded by many restaurants and very close to the beach. Friendly staff and very helpful. Nice decoration.
Cons: Very unconfortable mattress, no amenities. Rooms and mainly bathrooms need to be renovated. Old Furniture. Wifi connection is very poor. It does not have AC neither TV, they do not serve breakfast (althought it is said in the booking).
Dar Tabia - Asilah - Bedroom
8
8.1 Excellent (148 reviews)
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Super location, great roof terrace and charming host.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff there were amazing! They were really responsible and thoughtful and everything is perfect! The decorations and vibes are cute and decent, the host has really good taste. It’s totally worth to stay and spend time there
5.5 Okay
Pros: The Style and simplicity of the Bedroom and cleanness of the bathroom. View from the Terrace… if its not rainy!
Cons: I think i came in the wrong season to stay at Dar Tabia and I had a couples of unlucky circumstances which made my stay not very comfortable in that time. First there was nobody in the place for the Check in or leaving the lagguage at 12.30 I had to wait. It was a very rainy week and most of the time i needed to stay inside. The house is tiny and dark and not very comfortable to stay longtime inside or hang out to read a book. (very small common aerea) It felt that there were no guests for a while and the owner not in the place. Entrance, Kitchen and Common Aerea were dusty, the secondhand furniture and textiles a bit destroyed and not very clean. For the price i payed (after season) and the condition comfortability and cleanness of the house it is definitely to expensive.
4.3 Okay
Cons: The place is expensive for what it is. The rooms with the exception of one are dark and cluttered. The roof terrace is totally cluttered with stuff, and in the summer heat unusable as there is no shade. The house feels like it was used by the owner who has just dropped eveything and decided to put it up for rental. For the money one can find much better quality places even in Assilah
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Warm welcome. Rooftop breakfast exceeded expectations - delightful cool ocean breeze and tasty food. Very comfortable room - great A/C (a relief after lousy A/C in high end Casa hotel). Would stay again - especially now that I know where it is. Morning walk around beautiful medina a pleasure.
Cons: No complaints!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very convenient place! A good location in the medina. And the room is clean and delicate. Also, there is a beautiful roof where you could view the small beautiful medina, the sea and the sunset. I love Asilah!
Cons: The breakfast is not free.
6.8 Good
Pros: Very beautiful decoration inside!
Cons: No air condition. It was quite good at the night time, especially when you sleep. It is suggested to wear all clothes when you sleep
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Great location, Staff were always helpful and the room was nice and modern (with a lot of steps to get to). Good breakfast
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The staff was amazing and very hospital! We loved the interior design and the beautiful room. It was on the calm side of the old town, but still near everything we needed.
Cons: The only thing we didn’t like is that there was no door for the toilet ;) but that depends on which room you take.

9.5 Excellent
Pros: It’s a very beautiful small guest house with cozy rooms and a wonderful patio in the second floor. Everything is clean, the water runs uninterruptedly, the staff is very nice and friendly but prepare a couple of phrases at least in French. All in all we were surprised by how beautiful a place can be for such little money. Highly recommended!
Cons: In small rooms there are no windows except for the one facing the patio so if it’s open you can hear easily what’s going on outside or in the neighboring rooms. But it didn’t bother us much.
9.5 Excellent

7.5 Good

Pros: It’s good value for money, small but clean rooms and showering facilities were ok. Location is good, personnel doesn’t speak any English (or good French) but are kind and welcoming.
Cons: The bed was the hardest one we had in our entire stay in Morocco; it was like sleeping on a table. The property also doesn’t have a roof terrace or outdoor space in which you can sit.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: great value for price, beautiful building and location, comfortable stay, friendly staff
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The rooms are very clean and neat. The bathroom are not far from the bedroom. The place is very clean and beautifully decorated. Very friendly and attentive staff. WiFi was very strong. Quiet little Riad within walking distance of the beach, restaurants and main attractions of Asilah. A must stay if you visit Asilah. A real germ.
Cons: The only complaint I have: There is no access to the roof top terrace. No place to sit and relax either. One has to sit on the bed.

Cons: The shower, did not have much water.

Cons: The bed could really improve in comfort

Overview Reviews
With a stay at Dar Bouanani in Asilah, you'll be within a 5-minute walk of El-Hamra Tower and Centre Hassan II. Featured amenities include dry cleaning/laundry services and a 24-hour front desk.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: clean, staff, price.
Cons: It's located inside medina and it was not easy to find it.
6.8 Good
Pros: Walk to everything. Kitchen facilities. Clean.
Cons: No one seemed to expect our arrival, hence annoyed attitude from live in cleaner. TV didn’t work so moved to another room where the door to the terrace didn’t lock. No shower cubicle or curtain so bathroom saturated. Left to our own devices to locate wifi in hallway and find slip of paper with the password. Noisy street until very late.
7.5 Good
Pros: The staff and the locatio
Cons: One of the rooms had no aircon and did not get a fan either
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Location is great close to old Medina and a lot of restaurants, really good value for the money.
Cons: There is no staff on-site, though the owner speaks great English and is easily available on WhatsApp
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The location was great, close to the Medina and a short walk to the city center. The room was clean and the staff was exceptional. We were taken very well care of by the staff, the man whom we did business with for the room, went above and beyond to make sure all things were perfect for our stay! It was nice to have a kitchenette as we were staying there as a family. Good value for price.
Cons: Not a very big issue but perhaps something overlooked was that it would have been nice to have had a few simple supplies for the kitchen like dish detergent and a few spices.
6.3 Good
Pros: Location is good. Owner is friendly and helpful.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The staff is really welcoming and nice. He helped us with our queries, told us about the taxi prices and recommended good food around Asilah.
Cons: The room was cold as there was only one heater in the house. Besides that, there’s some issues with the lighting due to short circuit. But the staff was nice to fix the problem later.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Great staff, good bed and nice location
Cons: There is no fan in the room, which would be helpful as it gets quite hot in the room. The shower could use a curtain and a better drain.
5.8 Okay
Pros: The location was right in the centre of the town. We had a friendly welcome and the room was set up for us. Sheets were laid out on the supplemental beds. The hotel was kept very clean. Everything looked new and well maintained (if it wasn't for the electrical problem...)
Cons: Maybe I missed something in the description, but the "shower" was a shower head over a bucket in the bathroom. There was no way of keeping the place dry for all the other business we need to do there. Also, the heater flipped the breaker and we couldn't reset it, which left us without light and heat in January. It was cold.

Pros: Super clean, very good location, close to grand taxi, Medina, restaurants
Cons: Could be a bit noisy when hotel is full, as the rooms are not soundproof at all. During my stay it was fine
6.8 Good
Pros: Not much to like, other than the internet worked and the location was OK. Yes, it's cheap, but so is the place!
Cons: No lift and no staff offered to help with our many bags (knowing there wasn't a lift we asked for a 'lower' floor and was put on the top one, despite lots of rooms still showing avail on booking.com). The photos look better than the reality!

Cons: Nothing
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly staff. The air conditioner in the room was enough to warm it up in winter. Hot water in the shower. The best thing about the hotel is its location - 2 minutes from medina and just 1 from the beach. The room was clean and comfy for the price we paid.

Cons: For the three nights we were there we had to Complain about them not cleaning our two rooms, even if we left early in the morning and left the sign on the door to clean, they would take the towels away , not clean the rooms and not leave new towels, so we had to chase the cleaning ladies to get towels. On our floor we also saw a lot of signs on the door asking to have the rooms clean, for supposedly a four star hotel, the room cleanliness leave a lot to be desired.
7.5 Good
Pros: - nice and helpful staff - great location, 100 m from the beach - great pool - great food - wide variety of breakfast - nice view
Cons: - slow staff - dirty - ill-mannered kids at the pool, however you can't jump in the pool the staff didn't tell the parents. - too loud music (you can hear in the room) - in the fitness room the machines not really working, you can't use the weights - we didn't had toilette brush - we didn't got any robes
5.5 Okay
Pros: Location was excellent at sea side
Cons: The A/C was not working for the two days we stayed, and hotel staff said all rooms are like that, and they could not do much about it! Breakfast service was bad and over crowded.

Pros: The location was great . The door man jalal and Abdeltif were helpful. Bassma and Rahma in the front desk were not professional .
Cons: It’s not a four star hotel. There were three elevators but at least one of them was out of work during our stay.

Pros: Location
Cons: Everything was so bad from check in to check out. It was one of the WORST hotels ever. Do not waste your money on this rubbish hotel. The staff were so RUDE not professional or trained. One male staff started shouting and swearing at me and did not have good customer service! I had to call 5 times to get an iron and towels and got nothing at the end! I had to go to reception and there was chaos as the staff were so unhelpful and could not do anything. They did not care . No facilities. Shower head was broken. No care at all. Breakfast was awful, myself and my partner had belly pain and diarroeaha straight after. DO NOT waste your money and holiday on this horrible hotel; we stayed five hours in the hotel wasted.

Pros: Open air dining
Cons: We booked a sea view with double bed but were not able to have this when we arrived.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff as always were friendly and helpful. Our room overlooked the sea, and we just loved it.
Cons: Nothing
5.5 Okay
Pros: Very nice view of the pool, big working room, location close to Corniche, but still 20 min. walk from the city center and medina. Very clean, one guy from the reception was very helpful, where his colleague was totally the opposite.
Cons: Lack of facilities, very unstable internet, weird smell probably as the hotel rooms haven't been in use for a while, in some of the hotel units still maintenance work (or rather deep cleaning) was ongoing, so one could find tools left in the corridor. The breakfast was relatively poor. Yet, with a little bit of work to improve the conditions (such as stable wifi, more choice for breakfast, more welcoming staff and more affordable prices at least when not high season, this hotel has potential to become a very decent choice.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: On the beach, good size rooms, had a bar
Cons: Left to early in the morning so no breakfast
8.8 Excellent
Pros: This is a great hideaway, get away. I liked it so much I stayed an.extra week. It's close to everything. The train station is close, the bus to Tangier stops outside. Breakfast buffet is pretty good. There's a life guard on duty at the pool. Staff is friendly, helpful and multilingual. Many tour groups stay here over night.
Cons: The pool and location.
2.5 Mediocre
Cons: The hotel was very dirty, wasn't able to use the shower as it looked like it had never been cleaned. Looks amazing as they have advertised a pool, which is a lie. There was a hole in the ground with no water!
5.5 Okay
Pros: The location and the pool with its garden and the Moroccan tea
Cons: I think it's too expensive for what it is at the end, the hotel is nice but need some repairs in the rooms, some stuff doesn't work well. No towels for the pool although the pool (small but deep) is really beautiful. Its more a place to spend a week with the family in the villages near the pool. The room is big enough, but in general seems to us (we have travel a lot all around Morocco) is expensive. Now that I know the hotel, I wouldn't pay more than 750 dirhams for it.
5.5 Okay
Pros: The location
Cons: The furniture and the bathroom were very old and need refurbishment The breakfast was very poor
2.5 Mediocre
Pros: It had beer.
Cons: The staff was unfriendly and unhelpful. They charged us more than what was expected (through booking it should be 85€ a night but, they charged 100€). The bedroom was in dire state. The bathroom was dirty and falling apart. The tiles were broken. The bed sheets were also dirty. And as if it couldn't get any worse the wifi didn't work (phones, laptop) and the staff did nothing about it. It was overall a very unpleasant stay...
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Should improve their breakfast at least have a toaster for clients use, also have more for european taste. Internet none available in the rooms and poor at reception.
Cons: Breakfast and no internet available in room

Pros: Breakfast was made according to our wishes. And our host arranged for an evening meal to be made for us and served on the roof terrace. Excellent. The location in the medina was excellent and our host could not have been more helpful and friendly.
Cons: In Morocco, as coeliac, I did find difficulty with getting the Riad and restaurants nearby to understand gluten-free food.

Pros: This accommodation is beautiful in a perfect location. Mohammed is so friendly and helpful! It felt as if we were staying with friends.
Cons: There is nothing!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This place is glorious! (I'm a backpacker, so having a private room with a private bathroom was a luxury.) Regardless, this B&B was super quiet and very comfortable. Plenty of hot water, great staff and fabulous ambiance. Absolutely love our host Mohammed and his recommendations.
Cons: I would love high speed wifi, but when in Morocco...
10.0 Excellent
Pros: One of the best riads we stayed at in Morocco. Very central location. The room was a good size, clean and had a nice bathroom. Mohammed was a lovely host - very friendly with great communication and recommendations.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Riad Aichia is a cute little Riad in the Medina. They are so thoughtful and nice they were in communication with us prior to even getting to the riad. The rooms were cozy, and we had breakfast on the roof every morning. Fresh juice, Moroccan pastries, cheese, and jam. Overall we were really happy with our stay, and would definitely go again.

3.0 Mediocre
Pros: The accomodation is stylish and looks pretty
Cons: The idea of the hotel is nice and it looks pretty. However, there‘s severe shortcoming that you should be aware of before booking: - extreme moist in the room - Bad smell of mold and the toilett seats have black moist stains (that come off when swiping over it with a tissue, so I really don‘t understand why the hosts don‘t properly clean them) - because of the moist and mold we had a hard time breathing - At night, we couldn‘t open the window because it smelled like burnt plastic from burning trash outisde - However, the hosts didn‘t give us the remote for the AC, so it got terribly cold at night - The bed was moist, uneven and too small for two people - All in all, we spent a very bad night here, would never come here again
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Great breakfast
Cons: No outside window in room
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Great location and the decor really lovely. Very quiet and peaceful Good breakfast
Cons: Bed quite uncomfortable. Most of the staff were very hospitable and friendly. However, the lady who appears to be the manager was not very approachable and was quite unfriendly.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Very nice and relaxing atmosphere! Central location. The people working there were very friendly and helpful :)
9.3 Excellent
Pros: This was our fourth city in Morocco prior to heading to Spain and we'd become accustomed to pretty fancy digs at this point. Dar Menara was a completely serviceable and typical riad and my mom and I were both pleased with it. There was a roof terrace where we hung out in the afternoon and given that we were the only guests at the time, we had the run of the place. Every staff member we encountered was very kind and helpful!
7.5 Good
Pros: The location
Cons: Not very welcoming
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Really nice place to stay in a beautiful town.
Cons: Only downside is there isn’t much of a view from the roof terrace but this didn’t matter to us at all.
