It was a super cheap stay that is extremely conveniently located. The room was basic but shockingly clean. The bathroom in room 18 was simple but looked new and was spotless. Receptionist seemed cool and down to earth. The room was small but on par for how much we paid. There are minimal outlets which is expected in an older establishment. There wasn't a lot of natural light in room 18 because the only window was to the only exterior hallway that was dark. Minimal ammenities, front desk had coffee and that's about it. This hotel is perfect for a place to crash for the night while being out and about and having a hot shower in the morning.
The bathrooms were nice
WiFi worked Bed ok Smoky and smelly Musty smelling--mold? Towels weren't in room 10% coupon only works if you print it out from website Manager not helpful and smoking with her friends right outside Loud--on busy street, need earplugs Sink was plugged, couldn't use it Could not get refund Feel that I was robbed of $86!!!! All of our stuff smelled of smoke, we had to wash EVERYTHING when we got home.
Smelled like an ash tray and beds were uncomfortable. Sheets didn't look clean and there was hair in the bed.
Simple, clean, central location. Location on Main Street precludes a quiet setting.
Very centrally located. We caught the trolley two blocks away, great food four small blocks away, close to the riverfront, and close to the Historic District. The Manager was very friendly and informative. New bathroom fixtures, tile, and paint. Though the bathroom has been given a very nice facelift lately (looks like it took place sometime this year), but the tub was turning brown already and didn't look like it has been toughed with a good cleaner, and there were a couple of those nasty "hairs" in the tub too (the reason I ALWAYS travel with shower flip-flops). The highway is a little noisy all night, but what can you expect when it's only 40' away; it's both a convenience to have the highway that close, and a hindrance.
I liked the price the most! The room was clean and simple. The bed was a little firm and the pillows a little lumpy - but the price was great. Close enough to downtown and just across the street from the river walk. I would stay here again. The pillows were terrible. The windows (one in the room and one in the bathroom) were low to the ground so I was a little worried about leaving them open at night (watching too much Dateline?) But I left them open anyway, still alive, yay.
I paid 75$ and went to the seafood and wine festival. I was feeling too "happy" to walk to more bars later but could have and would definitely stay here again. There was no mold in the bathroom or hairs in the bed and although the room wasn't fancy, it was comfortable and clean and had a fridge, free parking, and free wireless internet.
Dan, the mgr, very friendly and kindhearted. Interesting decor. Loved the lobby area which is very open and inviting. 3rd generation baker delivers an array of wares each morning. Just updated. The name is actually Atomic Motel, which threw me off when first booked. Dan says it is a difficult process to get the name changed on all websites. No coffee maker in the room.
The hotel was clean and the staff was incredibly friendly. And we loved our room the whole design and said it was just awesome it was a cozy and a home away from home I will definitely be back
Nothing the place was filthy. Internet didn't work. Staff was unfriendly. Too noisy Staff, unclean room, noisy, old dilapidated needs t be torn down. A disgusting place
Location was mostly useful for us walking to downtown and saving a buck or two. They did agree to change rooms easily. Nice to have a mini fridge and microwave. Our first room smelled so bad of mildew that I coughed right away. We tried to sticked it through the night with the window open (traffic noise made it hard to sleep), but the smell continue to be awful and unhealthy. Both beds made my back hurt.
Everything worked - beds were comfortable - easy to find Rooms were not extremely clean, or well maintained. A little overprices for the look and feel.
Okay stay for outside of the town proper. I was quoted $70/night, but charged $142/night. I would NEVER pay such a rate for a hotel that offers so little in ammenties; we could hear every word from our neighbors; and the plumbing was loud at every hour.
Quiet- we had a room facing the road but very little road noise. We have stayed here before. They've since changed owners and fixed it up. There is a large breakfast area now with ample tables. The breakfast included make your own waffles, yogurt, cereal, fruit, bagels and other usual breakfast items. It's a little ways out of town but not much and it's more quieter and peaceful because of that. There's a hot tub and pet friendly. We got the no pet room. Great value for the money. We'd definitely stay here again on our coast trips. Nothing
We just got back from staying at the Astoria Crest Motel in room 120. It had a gorgeous view of the Columbia and the Astoria bridge. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable. I really liked how the sink, with coffee maker, fridge and microwave were separated from the main room and also separate from the toilet/bath room. There was a comfortable sofa that I kicked back in and watched the cargo ships. The continental breakfast and lobby area were very nice and comfortable. Lovely place to watch the rain this morning. The staff were pleasant to talk with while we waited for a break in the weather to go back to our room. The price was very economical and way less than the chain establishments in Astoria. Good Job. The hot tub is really tiny.
Location was ok - room was clean We placed the do not disturb notice so we could get ready to leave for the day. When we returned my husband went to the office to request maid service and he said that the front desk person was so rude that we will not return to this location.
Everything was just average Street noise was terrible.
They lady checking me in was very nice. As always dog friendly Great location The carpet was disgusting Could hear everything Bed uncomfortable Things rusty
They have the base of being a nice place. Basics are covered, however crudely. Staff was very friendly. Charged too much for the quality of the room. Stained carpet, outdated everything, torn shower curtain etc, and still cost me almost $100/night needs a serious face lift/updating.
It was good for our night there.had no problems. It was a bummer that the pool was closed and for the money we paid breakfast should've. Been complimentary.
Great location. Room was loud due to car traffic. No breakfast.
No Internet access as promised.
I loved how small and personal it was. There isn't a lot of rooms but it was very well taken care of and managed. It was very romantic if needed to be but perfect for a single person too. The staff was friendly as well. The heater didn't work for us but it really wasn't an issue.
When we booked and saw pictures of the exterior, we expected an older, worn, outdated room. We didn't care because we choose to spend less money on low-budget rooms when we won't spend a lot of time in them. When we walked in, we were pleasantly surprised! We were in one of the bungalow-style rooms, and they had obviously been repainted not too long ago and had beds and bedding to rival any major competitor. I haven't slept on a bed that comfortable in a long time. The whole room felt pretty cozy and was immaculately clean when we arrived. We had a flat-screen TV, a fridge/microwave combo, and toiletries. The establishment left lots of info in the room that was useful to have for out-of-towners. They even left us a little welcome gift of some local saltwater taffy! Having a little porch to put our sandy shoes and dry out our beach items was fabulous. We would definitely stay here again. Our only issue at all was with the capacity of the pool, which was really popular and often overcrowded. That is not the fault of the hotel, though; the fact that they had one at that price point was amazing.
It was perfect lil stay
Room was very clean, and although the building is older, they have done a great job keeping uptodate. Location is perfect, right in the middle of everything!
Fire pit by river. The pool opened late and closed early. Kayak overbooked and I didn't get a room with a view as I had booked.
My fiancée and I really enjoyed our stay. We loved the amazing river view from our 4th floor room, and the location of the hotel is really convenient as well. The room was super nice, and clean, and the bed was super comfy. The fire pit was a nice way to unwind, as were the pool and hot tub. Nice size pool. The staff was always helpful and courteous, and they lock the main doors at night for extra security. I'd definitely stay again! It would be nice if the pool was open for adult swim only at some point in the evening.
I liked the friendly staff -especially Lorelei. She gave great attention to my needs and also was very informative. I like the room a lot. Spacious King Room with all the extras. Great touches everywhere. Keurig coffee maker!! Nice job. Overall awesome. What I didn't like was the bed was a bit worn. I prefer a solid firm mattress but it did give me a good nights sleep. Also, breakfast could've used a bit more protein variety. Lastly, though I like all the little nuances and touches, I wish they had not included the shampoo and soap dispenser at the showers..it kinda took away the ambience of a really good looking room. Finally on that note, house the microwave and good size refrigerator appropriately.. Having the Keurig coffee maker was excellent but sitting on top of the micro and the micro on the refrigerator took some points away from the awesome look and feel of the room.
By far the best hotel we've stayed in in seaside. Best customer service we've ever experienced!
The hotel staff was very friendly, the location was great, but there was no wifi in the room we were given. Parking was right near our room. Movies and games available for use. Nice grounds. Overall, it was a great place to stay.
Very friendly and helpful staff Parking is an issue when all rooms are booked.
The staff was so friendly, and free snackcakes -- whaaaaaaa?! Also, I didn't use it, but they have DVDs in the office you can borrow. But you won't need to because the ocean is like 300 yds away. So good, I had to review.
It was awesome. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. Our room was comfortable and clean and we were in walking distance to the beach and many other wonderful places. I loved it and would stay there again!
the staff was very nice very accommodating I forgot my glasses in the room that brought him to the restaurant we were eating at while we were trying to sleep you could share the next door customer snore walk aroundalso the beds were pretty stiff
The owners . The shower is great. Graet place to bring family and pets. Super close to the beach and good coffee. THe bed was not that comfortabel. Bathroom a little small. Looking out the window to neighbors accross the street that were smoking.
Oh, very helpful and was exceptional to carry suitcases down in morning for us.Snacks were awesome in front office!! It was nice to be expecting us and greet by first name as soon as arrived for check-in making you feel like a regular that comes from time Yes, about the sauna and also about the parking. I do wish that being 10 feet from doors that it would designate where we can smoke and that perhaps the wooden picnic table could be an area for that as would be nice to sit there in nice weather too.
The staff is AMAZING. Do you need a beach towel? Do you want a movie? Do you need this or that? They were super great.
Great location, super staff and a lot of perks. For instance beach towels, blankets, carts, movies, games, all free of charge. If I picked on one thing it's the bathroom space. You could hardly get the door past the toilet. All the furnishings are older but well taken care of.
This was, hands-down, the best hospitality I have ever had at a hotel.
The female staff where really friendly and we were on the beach. There was a large family that decided to have a drunk'n gathering right in front of our door in the parking lot for hours into the night.
The view of the ocean and check in was easy Bed was old and uneven, heater in room was broken, it only worked on the highest setting, the door locks were very old and not secure, the parking lot is small and tight..

The area Right on the beach/boardwalk/near everything. Check in process was too long. No a/c and it was stuffy. We could ahrdly breathe. Beds were uncomfortable. TV would not go on even for local news.
Great locationEasy access to the beachOpen parkingPrompt housekeeping Old building-with musky odors.Unclean room with stains on carpet.Congested parking.People smoking outside the rooms.
The view WiFi broken. Pepsi machine broken. No water pressure in shower. Manager was abrupt and snotty
Perfect location on the beach and Boardwalk and two blocks off the main strip of shops and restaurants. The beds are hard/old and smelly.
Ocean Front Motel is great location. It is close to the beach front walking on the sand. Waking up and looking out the window to see the beautiful Ocean. A 10/10 audio visual experience. No
Proximity to ocean. That's it. Nothing else No wifi as advertised, room stunk like stale moldy bread, not enough towels provided, no hair dryer even when asked at fron t desk
The only thing I liked was the view That they charge the same as the nicer motels and it's old stinky and I felt I was misled in the description.
Great price. Clean & quiet room & close to convenience store. Room was a bit small but not too small for 4 people.
Very clean and updated room. Happy there was a mini fridge, coffee maker and cable! Bed was uncomfortable. Staff could have been a little bit friendlier, wifi connection was slooooow.
friendly people no good restaurants near by
New rooms. Clean and comfy. Fast internet(we were the only quests though). Quiet.
Clean, tidy, and a quiet location Its always a bad apple in the room next door making noise late at night
If you're expecting a reasonable value in reasonable value hotel class this is what I experienced - accommodating and pleasant, clean rooms N/A

the beds were fairly comfortable and at least they had cable tv. our room had a funny smell, sort of old smelling mixed with bleach smell, hard to describe, walls seemed paper thin, and the noise from the local bar traveled easily thru the air ( the music and people outside talking etc)
Friendly staff, clean room, location. Bed not comfortable, blurry t.v. reception, no fan in bathroom.
it was clean and close to everything
clean and new. even glass shower doors. cool!
The beds were horrible. We slept on the floor as it was more comfortable.
Simple. Just what I needed for a night away from the city. Don't be discouraged when you hear people in their rooms from the hallway. The hallway was noisy but once I got into my room I couldn't hear anything or anybody. Very quiet. The wifi didn't work half of the time.
The staff was exceptional, pretty clean So uncomfortable and not any amenities for cost
The location, room size, cleanleness. Terrble mattras. Intersprings noisy and uncomfortable.
Wi-fi good. TV channel gide provided. Bed and ok. To many barking dogs. Short on bath linens. Floor very sticky.
Super friendly staff! Pet friendly and a good price! A little far from down town
The room was quiet. This was the most basic hotel I've ever been in, the first one in awhile that provided only soap, no shampoo; and no basic coffee pot. No fridge or microwave, and no continental breakfast either. Most important: THE PROMISED WIFI CONNECTION DIDN'T WORK. The only staff available was an older lady who knew as much about computers as my grandma.
