The location is great, the owner is helpful and makes a good breakfast. There's ample free public parking by hotel. Based on all the reviews we booked this hotel for the 2 of us. Our room was in the back with no views, no balcony and much too full with a double plus a bunk bed. When we booked the room description mentions a balcony, but only 2 rooms have one. Furthermore we couldn't really open a window for fresh air at night as all the windows opened on the landing. So check availablility if you want a balcony.
Very quiet and peaceful. Fairly simple but functional, clean and nice, helpful owner. You need a car to access the main ski areas and restaurants etc. Although near a lift, it is a remote small ski area and not the main Champoluc area. If you have a car it is an easy drive down into Champoluc village.
kind staff, good breakfast, laptop provided by hotel for every room.
The hotel and room were very charming. The views were great. The staff was helpful and agreable.
The cleanliness of the room and the kindness of the staff. Also breakfast was really good
Very pretty and clean hotel and family who run it are really helpful and friendly No
We liked the friendliness, the nice breakfast och the calm ambiance.
The hotel setting and amenities and care are all excellent. This is our 2nd very happy visit None
any friutis for breakfast (fresh!)
Very kind couple of young owners and builders, perfect room and bathroom for the price, free and efficient Wifi, free lending of a laptop if needed, good breakfast and caffè, views on beautiful and quite Ayas valley and surrounding Monta Rosa mountains, good restaurants at a walking distance in a lovely village ... a strike for me at this price! should be one hotel like this in every part of the world!
Spacious and newly renovated rooms. Location next to the cableway station: excellent for mountain excursions in summer and for skying in winter (consequently far from the village centre) Barely sufficient breakfast based on standard/industrial products and no product of the territory. Very kind staff but a bit insecure in handling basic activities such as check-out.
A very new hotel in an amazing setting. The staff and ownership were friendly and flexible. A very proactive group trying to improve and please we’ve noticed many of the negative comments already dealt with. Looking forward to trying them in the Winter! Go chalet du lys go…
we really enjoyed our stay. the location is practically ski in - ski- out, the staff is very service - minded, very good breakfast and good prizes!:)
Excellent base for skiing in Gressoney - situated at the head of the valley, not more than a minutes walk to two of the main lifts, taking you to some excellent intermediate slopes. Hotel staff were excellent and could not do enough to help. Ideally suited for couples or families. Could not fault the hotel in anyway. Only downside was that they don't take Amex as advertised on Bookings.com - They did inform us that this was the case as we arrived and that they had asked for this to be changed on the website.
The people were so nice, kind, and helpful. No!
wonderful location, its best to fo in the off season hard to get to if you are not driving... the busses only go up 6 times a day....
Lovely location, very friendly staff, very spacious rooms, convenient location in village with good parking. We were visiting friends in the village who did not have space to put us up - this hotel was an excellent base Rooms which were displayed on the website as double rooms with the possibility of one extra child, were in fact much larger and could easily have accommodated our whole family of two adults and two children - as a result we booked two rooms whereas we could easily have managed with one. This is not the hotel's fault, but a limitation of the website: in the future we will telephone the hotel to ascertain the true capacity of the rooms
Value for money. Very nice, genuine and quiet location. Very nice staff that spoke excellent english.
lo Peyo is in a beautiful location in the Ayas Valley, it's a very cosy & well equipped self contained apartment within a large chalet style house, the owner is very hospitable, friendly & helpful (Franko ?) she gave us her home made jam & honey when we arrived, our apartment had awesome mountain views, and is a short walk to (Antagnod) village & a 5 min' drive to the ski lifts at Champoluc (part of the Monterosa area). A stunning location, quieter than some of the more well known resort towns, with apparently some excellent walking / hiking in summer. We would love to come back! No issues at all!
Beautiful apartment, very well equipped, warm and cosy, friendly atmosphere.
Excellent comfort location and service Minor point but the light switches are impossible to find!!
Relais des Glaciers is located at the southern end of Champoluc, about 1/2 mile from the ski lift. The bus from Milan stops in front of the hotel, as does the local bus. The local bus costs 1 euro per trip. Hotel staff is friendly, knowledgable and efficient. Breakfast has standard, European cold fare, with local cheeses and very good croissants.
The hotel is located in the middle of champoluc, 5 minutes far from the ski areas. All the people working for the hotel are very kind and ready to help you.
The full ski experirence, with expectional hosts that are always there to help. any time day or night/ Fantastic!!
Very nice hotel, overwhelming and friendly personnel, good breakfast, simple but clean rooms.
Do not be put off by the decor. The family owners are solely preoccupied with their guests enjoying themselves.
