Pros: The room has been the best decorated room on our trip. The tv had youtube - which meant we could watch English speaking content. The hostess went the extra mile and got english speaking pamplets on Marburg and told us the best place to park when visiting the castle and how to get to it. It made the visit very easy. Thank you!

Pros: Petra was the perfect hostess, lovely room with tea and coffee making facilities. Food in Restaurant was excellent and great wine list also excellent value for money. Room extremely comfortable and breakfast exceeded the norm.

Pros: The restaurant is pretty good. Much better then the average German kitchen. Nespresso in the room was also appreciated.
Cons: WiFi is for free but not the fastest one. Signal in my room was also so-so.

Pros: We were at the cottage. It was very clean and comfortable for a short stay. The location was excellent, with nice walks starting right at the doorstep. The children loved the two pony's right next door.
Cons: We ate at the restaurant for three evenings. The first evening there was no special menu for the children, so a lot of food remained on there plate, which got a bit of a frown and comments from the staff. Luckily they had foreseen a seperate children's menu the next days, with adapted portions.

Pros: Friendly people. You can always sitting outside during dinner or breakfast on some kind of veranda which is giving a holiday feeling. It is very close to the center of Gladenbach but next to a dark forrest with a lot of tweeting birds. The food is also not so bad.
Cons: Room is big, this is a fact, but also old. Ready for renovation. Outside around the hotel looks quite messy. Many guests are not so class full. Two nights with noice in the room next to me. The rooms are also bad isolated with partly wooden walls. The internet is only central. In my room quite ok because I was located close to the reception but when you are more far away, I guess no internet.

Pros: Very nice, luxury and spacy room, more a suite with separate toilet and bathroom. Good bed and counch to relax. Outside very quite in the middle of the nature. You can take your own drinks out of a central fridge and write down what you took. This is very convenient when you arrive late back in the hotel. Then you can take a drink to your room.
Cons: The location is not so easy to find. Without GPS you can forget. I tried the second an third day to find back without GPS but failed in the dark.. For dinner you need to reserve in advance. But there is good restaurant on walking distance. For the rest nothing to complain. OK, for this price, a coffee machine in the room is something that you could expect. The price is also not so cheap but understandable when you see the room.
