Stayed here as we were attending a wedding and this was the venue for the reception/celebrations. What a fabulous venue; beautiful hotel and what amazing views. We enjoyed the hotel so much we plan to go back for a relaxing break on our own.
Lovely location; newly renovated, fresh facilities; attention to attractive design in decoration; main building is a building of historic interest Welcome was a bit distracted.
Room was beautiful and the pool and spa was great!
Spa and Restaurant staff are especially friendly and helpful. We could stay at spa even after cheking-out. (you can allow to stay check-out day till 22:00 which is really super offer for wellness lover) Bed in an old room was too soft. I had facial massage and relatively satisfied but the staff who treated me was a little bit rough.
Very nice and spacious rooms, quiet and friendly atmosphere. Good breakfast buffet and a top restaurant
We liked it's spacious rooms, the service provided and the indoor pool.
The SPA! Great pools (in/outdoor) plus other facilities, great terrace outside. The outdoor resturant/terrace, with a fantastic views across the sea and the mountains. The indoor restaurant lacks cosiness. No aircon in the room!!
The staff were excellent nothin g was to much trouble for them the reason for our trip was to visit the Commonwealth War Cemetry at Durnbach appprox 6kms away from the hotel and it proved a very central location. Bad Weissee is very easy to access by rail/bus from munich. airport.
Rich breakfast, roomy. insufficient parking space
Set in a beautiful town, immaculately clean, very comfortable and excellent value for money. Would stay at the Hotel Die Alpensonne again and recommend it to others. Perhaps not as stylish as it could be, but attractive and comfortable nonetheless.
Camere confortevoli e pulizia. La posizione dell'hotel è ottima per fare escursioni di una giornata. Staff cordialissimo.
The 3 units we booked were prepared and equiped very good we spent a good holiday
good breakfast, good balkony and good location Behavior of manager of hotel Kristina it was bad.
the great balcony
very kind personel, very cosy hotel, very near center, good money value
We received a warm welcome despite arriving quite late. The owner and staff were friendly and went out of their way to help with information about our flights.
Nice location, easy to walk to the town and the lake. The fitness room / swimming pool area closes at 8pm. This is too early - I used the hotel while working nearby and by the time I got back to the hotel it was too late to use these facilities.
nice hotel but unfortunately the traffic noise from the street in front is disturbing. Even road construction starting at 7 am is allowed in Tegernsee.
Friendly and helpful staff. Lovely room. The hotel provided a local tourist ticket (Kurkarte) which gave unlimited use of local buses and discounted admissions. Comfortable room. Excellent breakfast with attentive service. Not enough windows in the room for a splendid view, but enough for a fair one. A hotel of this class should provide free internet service. Coasters should be provided so that water rings are not left on the table and counter tops. A bit too close to the main road; in the summer, this could be quite unpleasant.
Friendly staff, nice room with overview to the lake.
Excellent experience. The owners are experienced hoteliers and provide city chic behind a traditional facade with a recent renovation. Great rooms with lake and mountain views. Good location, super staff, excellent breakfast buffet, good bar. Will return. No lift.
Nice rooms, great view, good breakfast, friendly staff We arrived late, and despite a confirmed reservation they had released the room - fortunately they found a room for us!
The hotel obviously employs good staff who were friendly and helpful. Our evening meal was of good quality. Although the food was good, there was a poor selection of wine. We were both surprised for example that there was no German wine on offer. Also, we felt the room price was rather expensive.
Outstanding boutique hotel, wonderful staff, old (building) meets new (interior design) in perfect balance, spacious rooms, all with spectacular lake view and you notice the incredible attention to detail all over the hotel, from the smallest decorating touches to the amenities in the bathrooms (Bogner - perfect choice for a Bavarian hotel!).
A very nice, friendly, small hotel in Tegernsee, located on the lakeside road. Wonderful views. Easy walking distance to shops, facilities and restaurants.
It is a small but nice designed hotel that gave us a good comfort. The location is easy to access. It is located next to the Monte Mare spa, the real destination where we made this trip from Munich for. I think the hotel is not bad but nothing impressive given the price they charged us. I & my husband had a chance to visit Bayern hotel for our dinner and we felt Bayern is far better hotel in all aspects although to what i understand these two hotel are suppossed to be both 4 star. But it seems to us they are in different league.
Fantastic location, amazing spa and the service was excellent, everyone was very friendly. Very easy access to the spa from your room, no need to go through other parts of the hotel which was much appreciated. Food was over-priced.
Internet connection very unstable.the person in charge from hotel was unable to fix it.
Superb facilities; gorgeous room; wonderful service; lovely location; excellent restaurant and bar. Good bike riding around the lake; great pool (28m), spa and saunas (7!!). Didn't have time to try the gym and massage facilities. At this price, you'd expect the best.
The locatıon. Their strictness regardıng booking cancellatıon.
The Hotel is Great! Only Some Hotels in UAE and EU can compete with the quality and service. Location is great! Just go, relax and enjoy inside and outside the facilities.
Great staff, excellent accomodations great location...
It's really 5 stars hotel. The service is fantastic. The staff is professional. The location is nice. Nothing
Logistic, rooms, location, service Nothing
Room attractive & clean Hotel a bit tired, too near a fairly busy road. Pool not very appealing
The owner (manager?) kindly took care of drying our clothes after we were caught in a downpour.
The staffs are very friendly and helpful. Although they speak little English but they did their best to explain and introduce the towns to us and advice us where to go. The environment and decor of the hotel is also very pleasing and comfortable Communication is a little hard. It will be better if the staffs speak better english - for example: The airport pick-up rate was not communicated to us clearly and we thought its free until we check-out and found this huge bill on our invoice.
There is no heater in the midnight. The room becomes very cold.
Extremely nice staff, a beautiful location and good breakfast. Clean and tidy. Single rooms are small, but nice
we liked the cozy atmosphere ,the views surrounding the hotel, the small and nice swimming pool, the buffet at breakfast.
This very attractive hotel is sited on a quiet road about half a mile from the town centre. The management was extremely helpful and attentive. The whole building was extremely clean and well arranged. Our bedroom was well sized and attractively furnished. The balcony had sun chairs and table. Whilst it did not affect us the lounge is quite small and could be overcrowded if the hotel was full
Breakfast is very good. Staff very attentive. More expensive bill than booked was requested at check out, however luckily we had a prinout of the booking and was fine. Furniture in the rooms is a bit dated. TV remote control did not work even after battery change.
Comfortable rooms and great breakfast. And the receptionist at desk on our arrival in the evening was terrific! Receptionist in the morning on our departure rather abrupt and unhelpful.
breakfast, large room
Silent , good location, good service
played football indside
Nice and clean room
Refrigerator was warm.
We got a good family room for 2adults,1child and 1senior. The room was clean, very big and comfortable. Staff friendly and helpful. We went to the small town of Miesbach and had some food in the local restaurant because the hotels restaurant had high prices. Breakfast was the best ever. Very rich in options. Some information was in english but most in german.
Hospitality was excellent
The breakfast staff were amazing and the variety was spectacular the evening male frontdesk clerk was very cranky and offered little help in english,he seemed to be better the second night
freindly staff in the restaurant, excellent food and reasonable selection in the bar
A hotel spirit of relaxed luxury, very rare
the kindness of the staff and the high quality of all aspect of the hotel the spa is also to recommend wirelles too limited and wired internet connection not confortable to use
The worst hotel I ever stayed in. The room had only a small window, was narrow and very dark, no a/c, hefty feather bed in the summer, expensive - they did not even ask if we enjoyed our stay when we checked out. none
OK - we had a great room - one of the junior suites in an annexe at the back. After a long journey it was fantastic to relax in a spacious comfortable room with Weissbier in the fridge! The next day we could sunbathe on our balcony. The family Schnorr are enormously friendly.
Lovely hotel and room. Very friendly and helpful staff. Good breakfast. Afternoon tea is excellent with the homemade cake which was the best we had eaten during our whole trip in Germany/Austria. Staff coming to the car with umbrellas and helping with parking and luggage on a raining arrival was hard to forget. This stay makes it the highlight of our trip. Would be ideal if it offers dinner in the hotel.
Breakfast was great. Friendly staff. Beuatiful location. The restarant was closed at 22h.
The view onto the lake! Besides that nothing else The worst ran down rooms i have ever had to stay in. The staff is unfriendly and poor. The Price for a room is rediciously high! No Information about anything from the Staff
