Pros. We love that it was right next to the airport, very clean, very accommodating. We love that there was a shuttle available for both the airport and access to city center.
Cons. The idea of the shuttle drop off being “near the city center” was misleading since we considered the city center to be near Central Station. The museum district is quite a ways away from center. Also, shuttle could run later than 11:45—we would have been willing to pay double to have an opportunity to stay longer.
Pros. Corendon village hotel was the best hotel in Amsterdam

Cons. May 31, 2018...this hotel is not suitable for overnight guests. Construction equipment blocks all but one entrance, facilities are not open such as resturant. If you have a reservation, wait time at checking is still 2 hours upon arrival. Was told my room was needing cleaned so I waited at the bar. 2 hours later my room was still not available. When asked if there was another room the host stated all rooms were full and/or still uncleaned. This property is not ready to be open. This is not a suitable environment for any guest as construction is still in progress as is the constant video, photo, and reporter stream in and out of the lobby requiring waiting guests to move constantly and treated poorly. The owner gladly sat with interviewers while ignoring frustrated customers that were being told their rooms were not clean and wouldn't be ready at posted check in hours. Very rude environment. Room information is on the TV, a nice way to provide while saving paper, just took a moment to find that this existed, however it does not. Bar options limited. Two small euro square pillows on a double bed and the bathroom sink hair hair and streaks in it. Beds were comfortable, room quiet, and AC worked well. For the few positives this room has the negative approach to the hotel open overshadowed the stay. Airport shuttle left prior to posted time and required an Uber as the shuttle leaves every 30 minutes without passengers. Checkout staff sat down and waited for me to approach and did not engage interaction. Whomever owns this hotel made very poor choices in staff and soft open procedures. This is not a suitable hotel at this time period and the management should be ashamed of the way their check in process and treatment of guests is going. I would rather sleep at the airport than stay here again. Save your money and book elsewhere near the airport if you plan to check in at all.
