8.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast and quaintness of renovated old station

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The owners are amazing the breakfast was wonderful it was just a great experience.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I absolutely loved staying at this charming hotel. The owners are super friendly and my room looked very quirky and stylish. My breakfast was just a slice of bread with cheese, but I could have had everything I wanted. Fresh pancakes were made, and eggs too. This hotel is very reasonably priced and you will get great service. Free WiFi and parking too!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: This B&B is located just around the corner of the house my mother was born. Both my parents grew up in old Amstelveen and I took them here this weekend: it was a nice trip down memory lane! The B&B is a very tastfully designed home, clean and with all the comfort you need. Breakfast was tasty and the people were very kind. There are a lot of restaurants and many nice old houses in this old small village.
Cons: It's absolutely price worth for a B&B like this one in this neighbourhood, but normally I wouldn't spent so much for an overnight stay.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Comfortable, clean and good vibes. Well located.
Cons: Everything was perfect

9.5 Excellent
Pros: Loved the home feel to the property. They had a good choice of homemade breakfast and the owners are very welcoming and flexible.
Cons: I wouldn’t say I disliked anything. Just ensure you are driving as the location has no trains or buses. Uber can be expensive though you can use it

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing to find such a place in the middle of the polders and so close to Amsterdam. Everything was as expected. Breakfast with a good choice of sweet or savory dishes. Comfortable room and great location for those who love quietness.
Cons: Nothing.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This is the PERFECT place to stay. Out in the country, along a canal, the owners keep updating their rooms, they are truly nice. The breakfast was perfect, this is a family run establishment, and all the family has a special part that they contribute. The father makes breakfasts, on Sundays for sure! The mother is a counsellor and has meetings there for groups. The grown children help run the business. They are all pleasant and knowledgeable. A perfect score.
Cons: Not one complaint!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The B&B is in a lovely countryside, few km from the ziggo dome and about 15minutes driving from Amsterdam city centre. Big and clean room with private bathroom. The entire family was very nice and helpful, made us feel at home. Fantastic home made breakfast!
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The house locates in countryside with very fresh air and so many cows. Housekeepers are family and their neighbors. Everything is nice and silent. We changed to a bigger room with 2 beds so that my family had more space. I think here breakfast is absolutely good in all of B&Bs.
Cons: Nothing
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Staff, reception, bed, shower, breakfast and just about everything else. Very, very nice!
Cons: Overwhelming manure stink from the surrounding fields, insects around the safety light just outside the room. A few small technical defects (TV, toilet seat), but they were taken care of promptly.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Charming location in the polders. Super clean room with a great bath. Friendly and helpful host. And a totally good breakfast.
Cons: Outside area not set up for rainy weather, would be even better if there was a covered area to read or relax under in the rain.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was perfect !!

The swimming pool is very relaxing, the gym is above average (certainly for a hotel) and the breakfast buffet has a nice mix of healthy, hot, cold and sweet options. Wifi is perfect as well. We celebrate our anniversary here every year even though we live in Amsterdam. It's a pleasure every time.

Pros: The hotel and my room were nice. The staff is excellent, helpful and accommodating. I had a very pleasant stay here.

QO Amsterdam - Amsterdam - Bedroom
4
9.0 Excellent (4,266 reviews)
Overview Reviews
QO is a different kind of lifestyle hotel born from a commitment to the world around us and the belief that travel should always be a pleasure. The QO is a remarkable living building and one of the most sustainable hotels in Europe, with our own rooftop greenhouse growing fresh produce for our menus. Enjoy Dutch Cuisine at our eatery Persijn, or amazing 360 degrees views at our 21st-floor cocktail bar Juniper & Kin while enjoying an Amsterdam special beer or cocktail crafted with local ingredients. Centrally located just 10 minutes from central station, RAI and Johan Cruyff Arena and 20 minutes from Schiphol Airport.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Excellent hotel. The attention to detail is incredible and the option of having an ebike due to the location being further out was a great addition. Great staff, incredible interiors and fantastic attention to detail.
Cons: Location is a bit further out but with an e-bike its no biggie. The views are not as epic as its more of an industrial / outskirts area.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The room and the view were something special. Everything was eco friendly and just had its own charm to it.
Cons: There wasn't alot of storage space, and a lack of shelving made it hard to feel at home.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: If the QO hotel intendend to surprise us with a positive experience, they certainly succeeded. Everything in the hotel is conceived with an eye for detail, nice design, good quality materials, use of modern technology, friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. Everything is done to please the guests. A place to go back!
Cons: It was all great - but if we really have to find something that could be better, here a small detail: the soap dispensers in our bathroom did not function well.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Very modern Hotel with luxury features. Very welcoming personell who made the stay as smooth as possible. All request were fulfilled with highest satisfaction. Awesome food in the restaurant with pleasant atmosphere. Nice rooftop bar with stunning view over the city.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The room is great. Apple TV and Chromecast on the TV, so you can stream from your phone or pad. Roomy, modern shower. Comfy queen-size bed with top-class linens. Modern, effective environmental controls. Large in-room safe fits a MacBook Pro, BOSE headphones and valuables. Price-worthy location, out of center, but surprisingly convenient. Next to Spaklerweg M-station, with three lines. Only four stops to Waterlooplein. The surroundings are mostly industrial and office space. Several large business hotels in the area (QO is located best for tourists and visitors as it’s almost right across the street from the M station). Room service - Skip the room-service breakfast; in the dining room is ok, but my tip for the morning is to walk around the corner to the WeWork cafe, instead. Lunch/dinner serviceable. Not extensive menu, and suffer partly from “new-idea” syndrome (apple crumble on the dessert menu is a baked apple with crumble where the core was, which is a disappointment if you think a real crumble is coming). But mostly nice dishes. Service is effective and professional. The personnel are awake and respond quickly. It seems that a very positive company culture infuses their people with a positive, friendly attitude (not always the case in larger hotels). This really translates into pleasant customer experience.
Cons: They could stand to expand the menu both in the restaurant and on room service. More important due to the somewhat out-of-center location.
6.8 Good
Pros: The ethos of the property and the very comfortable beds
Cons: Location
10.0 Excellent

Pros: The front desk was very helpful. We lost our luggage at the airport and every one was committed in this quest. Especially Luna, she was on the phone for what seemed to be ages. We finally got the luggage. Our safe was broken an Nudia helped us get in. Amazing staff
Cons: The blinds in room could be darker
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Liked everything really. Live band at breakfast is a treat.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Rooms were clean and had all the amenities The bed was soft maybe too soft to my liking but nevertheless still nice. I also enjoyed the ability to perform all the check in and out procedures on my phone which made it extremely convenient.
Cons: The property is quite far from the city centre and still requires a 10 min walk to get to the station. If convenience is important for you in regards to public transport accessibility, this may not be the place for you.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Rooms were clean, staff were friendly & breakfast was great.
Cons: Air conditioning was not the best, was a bit too far out for us but would be ideal for arena.
8.0 Excellent

7.7 Good
Pros: Location was great , the lounge is amazing , greT view , awesome shower
Cons: Terrible internet !! We got the room on executive level , got there at 10 PM and were told that it was already closed and would not reopen until after I flight would leave the next day

Pros: Clean and comfortable. It was great
Cons: Dinner was not tasty!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Great hotel next to the airport, easily accessible
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Location is great. Nice rooms. Comfortable bed. Very quiet hotel.
Cons: Pillows are horrible - stupid feather things which provide no support and make you sneeze. Staff at the restaurant were more concerned in discussing their ‘terrible’ work circumstances than serving us which was annoying to say the least. The cleaning team felt it necessary to vacuum clean around our table while we were having lunch. Hotel and restaurant are expensive. Room was not properly cleaned; stains on the walls, on the sofa and the carpet needed a good vacuum.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: By far the best Hilton I’ve ever stayed in. The chips I received as part of my room service were the best I had all week in Amsterdam. They were actually stunning. Usually room service is disappointment at best, so this was a complete surprise.

Overview Reviews
The hotel offers spacious, modern and air-conditioned studios and apartments, 24-hour reception and free WIFI in all areas. All studios and apartments at this aparthotel come with a smart TV and a fully equipped kitchen with a stove, microwave, fridge and dishwasher. Thanks to the location, the metro is only 450 m from the hotel where you can easily connect to the Zuidas Business District and the center of Amsterdam. The hotel offers paid private indoor parking.
4.5 Okay
Pros: Our room was clean and quiet, location was OK given it was close to the Bos where we spent a lot of our time
Cons: The hotel rate was already expensive, on top of that the hotel charges you to get access to « premium WiFi » (really?), access to parking, breakfast, bike renting - all of it very ridiculously value to price. I am ok to pay 200e per night but can’t stand the impression of getting ripped off for poor additional services. The staff is not professional, as often no one was at the reception, and looks very amateur
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The room was spacious (bedroom, small living room, kitchen, bathroom, spare storage room) and very functional but tastefully furnished. Everything was new and clean and the kitchen had all you need for cooking.
7.5 Good
Pros: I loved the waffle for breakfast.
Cons: The aircon did not work, the staff knew about it but still placed us in that room.
7.5 Good
Pros: Beds were very comfortable and the rooms were cleaned well and extremely spacious. Nice bathroom facilities. Staff were generally friendly and helpful outside of the examples given above.
Cons: Our rooms were not cleaned until 2 hours after the advertised check in time. Staff on reception also attempted to overcharge us for beverages and argued the point until proven wrong. One of the rooms also didn't lock.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The apartment was Perfect! It was extremely self catering which allowed us to cook our own food rather than eating out all day. The apartment was laid out like a studio apartment. It was very modern and I would definitely stay here again!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Rooms very spacious and well decorated
Cons: Nothing other than we couldn’t rent any bikes as they were all in use
4.5 Okay
Cons: They did not clean the room for 4 days, did not change the towels, humidity was super high in the rooms so all our clothes had a strange smell. And today morning they probably on purpose turned on alarm so people who came for dekmantel would leave their rooms asap. Shame
9.3 Excellent
Cons: High quality rooms, a fair distance to central amsterdam. Would definitely stay again.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The bed and bathroom were quality! Loved having a dishwasher in the room
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Had the pleasure of staying here due to its closeness to the Amsterdamse Bos for Dekmantel Festival. So much value for money. Modern studio aparthotel room kitted out with everything you could need! Can't fault it, had a lovely stay.

Pros: Amazing place
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything, check in, coffee
Cons: Nothing
7.0 Good
Pros: Good: the staff is generally friendly and helpful. The location is perfect to commute. Bad: the cleaning lady did not clean the room properly
7.5 Good
Pros: The tram to the city centre was literally outside the hotel. And we do not need to connect any tram as the city centre Main train station was just few mins walk from the tram stop. The tickets can be purchased at the van machine in the hotel. We had booked for a quite room and it was great!
Cons: Not much attractions within the surrounding areas. The location of the hotel was outside the city central and near a main highways. More like office location rather than tourists sight-seeing location to me.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Great for what it was!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The proximity to the city was great. Not too touristy, not too far away. Very close to the Museumplein, which was what my boyfriend and I really wanted to visit. The beautiful Rembrandtpark was right down the block. Super close to the airport as well.
Cons: The dinner wasn't great for what it cost, but it wouldn't deter me from staying again.
7.0 Good
Pros: The rooms were comfortable and the bed and furniture was great.
Cons: There was an issue with the air conditioning through out our stay and even after complaining no one even reacted or even came back to us. We stayed there for 4 days and after paying so much we wouldn't expect such service. We have even emailed the property with no response back for at least 2 weeks now!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: everything else was excellent
Cons: didn't specify I needed to write in the special requests that I needed 3 single beds over 1 double 1 single for a triple room.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The corner room had an excellent view and the hotel was next to a tram stop so travel was very easy.
Cons: The bathroom lights were on a timer. While you were showering the room would suddenly go pitch black. You would have to get out and wave at the sensor. There was no way to change the length or override the timer. I requested and got a room change.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful staff very friendly
Cons: Nothing
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Immaculately clean and super efficient staff.
Cons: I was not aware of how far the hotel was from central Amsterdam. 5 stops in the metro 1hr plus on foot. We had to buy a metro pass to enable us to make it viable.
7.0 Good
Pros: They have a nice lounge area. It is close to the metro.
Cons: Very small rooms missing a separate bathroom, the shower is within the room, suitable for one persons for two it is to small.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Easy check in & out, spacious bed, good breakfast & great movie selection. Most importantly great location between airport and Amsterdams centre, with quick transform links from AmsterdamZuid.
Cons: No toaster at breakfast (although great selection of breads) & though there’s storage for luggage under the bed, it would have been nicer to have a space to access our luggage more easily.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Location was great - out of the hustle and bustle of the centre, but a 3 minute walk to the metro which went straight into the centre of Amsterdam: hotel to Centraal Station in about 20 minutes. Staff were excellent as ever - always polite and friendly and willing to help in any way they can,. We had a couple of issues with our bed and room - beds are a little hard for us but staff gave us extra bedding, and our shower broke so they moved us without any fuss.
Cons: Beds a little hard for us, but otherwise great.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Great breakfast, very professional staff, nice room, quiet location
Cons: Nothing really. Minor issue, would like coffee/tea in room and firmer pillow!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Super friendly staff and a very comfortable nights sleep. We highly recommend staying here.
9.3 Excellent
Cons: I had a bit of trouble with the ipad but that was just me!
7.5 Good
Pros: 5 mins walk from Amsterdam Zuid Station, great location. Room was clean and comfortable. Friendly staff.
Cons: The shower door is transparent with a thin curtain that doesn’t really cover anything.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff at the Amsterdam hotel went above and beyond in helpfulness. They oriented us to the city, the rail system, best restaurants, called cabs, etc. Felt like we had made friends.
Cons: The rooms are quite small., and yes, the shower is in the middle of the room. You have to see it to believe it. It's fine if you're a couple, or single. well worth it. We will always use this chain in any city we can.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: CitizenM has the most amazing beds ever which take up nearly half of the room. So perfect to collapse into after a long day. The room also gives you access to free movies controlled by an iPad on a flatscreen. The staff are so friendly and helpful and there is food and drink in the hotel if you don’t want to go too far. Free bikes available if you’re up early enough. Perfect room for couples especially with the smart lights and movies.
Cons: A bit complicated to get to from Amsterdam centre, however once you’ve figured out you’re route it isn’t the worst. Will take 20-30 mins however it’s far better value for money than centre.

5.5 Okay
Pros: The design of the hotel
Cons: The washroom is dirty. The front desk is welcome guest.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We spent four full days traveling the area. The room where spacious, clean, and comfortable. This hotel was right next to the train station and bus line and provide direct access to all the popular areas in less than 30 minutes. The staff provided excellent customer service and were extremely helpful in helping my family navigate the transportation system.
Cons: Paying for parking was a challenge. It would be nice if the hotel partnered with the parking garage company so that all transactions could take place within the hotel during check out.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly staff! Excellent room; very clean and comfortable. Lovely walk to the city center and so close to the train station. I couldn't be happier
10.0 Excellent

Cons: None
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Close to train station and excellent breakfast
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is very conveniently located 200m from Hoofddorp railway and bus station, with wasy access to Schiphol Airport and Amsterdam. You can buy an Amsterdam regional transport ticket at the Airport which will give you acess to trains trams and busses for the Amsterdam region and the airport. There are frequent trains to both the airport (7mins) and Amsterdam Centraal (25 mins) which makes it a convenient base to explore Amsterdam. Our hotel room was spacious and very comfortable and we loved our bed. The hotel wifi worked well for us. The hotel is trying to be more environmentally sustainable and anongst other measures rewards you if you choose not to have your room cleaned every day. We earned 3 5€ vouchers for use at the bar or restaurant.
Cons: The hotel is very large and poplular with travellers as well as airline crew. Check in can be slow if you arrive at the same time as many other guests. We thought the breakfast very expensive at 20€ per person, but did take advantage of their express breakfast which was 10€ each.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Bed was very comfy, cooling system noiseless, great sound proofing, no street noise or hallway noise. Everything was great!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Green roof, green spaces, many dining options, areas for both kids and adults to frolic, close to rail station.
Cons: Elevators slightly cramped
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great access to Amsterdam and to Schiphol. Clean comfortable rooms and a great breakfast buffet!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Did not eat breakfast there. We did have the buffet for dinner but not real impressed with it. The chicken we ordered was so small it was hardly worth getting, The other food was pretty good. We had water and the 5.50 charge for that was a little expensive. We just wanted water. The front desk was very nice. They helped us with trying to get around and giving us information on where to go and what to see. The rooms were very nice.
Cons: See above about the dinner buffet. We had the buffet 2 weeks earlier. We saw when we came for this stay they were no longer offering the dinner buffet.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Very well located to go to both to Amsterdam and to the airport by train. Modern and functional. Staff able to speak Spanish at the bar.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The hotel location is convenient.

Cons: The breakfast was a little bit pricey and unspectacular, but it was sufficient nevertheless.
5.8 Okay
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Housekeeping service not including washing & cleaning dishes! The housekeeping on request. The parking area is far from the hotel. Big van (car hight higher than 2.10 m can't enter the parking). You may park in front of the hotel enterance for 16 eur each 4 hours only! For the Romantic arrangement, you will get a box of milky Chocolate costing 3 eur (in the conventional store) & a small bouquet not more 10 eur, but the hotel will charge 25 eur!
9.1 Excellent
Cons: This hotel is 25 minutes outside Amsterdam proper. Easy access to tram that is walkable (buy tickets from the front desk). They only clean the room every 4th day but they provide new towels daily. Once you get the understanding of the tram, all is good. The staff is 5 star

8.8 Excellent
Pros: Convenience and practical Staff are excellent. Food is good
Cons: A bit cramped
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean, comfortable, walking distance from airport, easy check in and out! Great service
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Great location, and decent enough concept for an airport hotel. Perfect for short stays
Cons: Nothing jumps out. Just be prepared for the concept and the room / chamber size.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: With 115 euro reasonably priced Next to airport so convenient for early morning flights Awesome staff Comfortable rooms
Cons: Breakfast ok but lots of fruit flies interested in the buffet also......
9.4 Excellent
Pros: More hotels in the future will likely look like CitizenM: highly automated, very modular, rather podlike. The limited staff resulted in a fair amount of guest self service at checkin and room operation. The iPad that controlled the room would likely require a learning curve for non-iPad users, but it did its job. But the room was very small (<100 square feet?); it was tiny for just me; I can't imagine sharing it with anyone. Staff was uniformly great (as is usual in The Netherlands) and the lobby, while a little hip for this septuagenarian, was convenient and did its job. The 24-hour food service was especially welcome. Especially because of the location, I would stay there again. But not pay more.
Cons: Way small room. I felt warehoused, a la Bladerunner. Darkness and several housekeeping carts detracted from the highly decorated hallways.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: I love the iPad-centric room controls. Great selection of newly released movies. Comfortable bed with a great TV setup.
Cons: Temperature controls don't work very well - the room gets very cold at night even though I set the temperature to 70 Fahrenheit. The toilet and shower design are fun and just fine for a single traveler. When traveling with a partner, there "tube" designs dont provide any privacy, especially for the toilet. Perhaps adding a fan or some ambient noise to drown out toilet noises could help keep the mood romantic, hahaha!
8.2 Excellent
Pros: clean room, big comfy bed, friendly staff, AC, but the main reason that we stayed at this hotel was the walking distance to the Airport and Train connection to the city center.
Cons: Rooms are tiny and the Shower & toilet look like they belong on Star Ship Enterprise ( beam me up Scotty ) Lol The toilet had no Fan which it needed since the room is so tiny :( There is No parking at the Hotel still we would stay there again due to the walking distance to & from the Airport.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Helpful friendly staff, good location, beautify design
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Super convenient beside the airport.
Cons: The room was pretty small but for the price, acceptable.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Hi Tech, advanced. The future of hotels Comfortable Social
Cons: bit cramped for 2
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Simplicity of check in and check out. Simplicity of the rooms. In a good way. Relaxed atmosphere and really close to the airport.
Cons: Blinds opening and closing system was a little bit convoluted.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Friendly talk at reception

Cons: I had to wait for my bed and our room was late because of cleaning
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Close to amsterdam central and tourist spots. Hotel’s vibe is hip, artsy, edgy but also comfy at the same time. We stayed from the 22nd of july-august 1 and there’s nothing I could complain about. The tall curly haired bell man (totally forgot his name) is always puts a smile on our faces.

Cons: The noise outside the room
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Location and design

8.8 Excellent
Pros: Staff were lovely and the location could not be beat. Large room and bed, very comfy and a very large shower
Cons: Reception can get a little crowded if busy and there are only 2 lifts.

Pros: Very Good Location, Special thanks to Receptionist Lady who checked me in and out. She is very helpful. All concierge is very helpful and kind. Nice breakfast tasty food:)
Cons: Only one thing that you need to change bathrobes. It was very old a
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Excellent experience. Five star amenities with 3-4 star pricing. Highly recommend this property. Restaurant and lounge both exceedingly good. Central location to all attractions, very convenient to train station.
Cons: Lighting in room a little off, but not a huge issue.
7.0 Good
Pros: Staff are alert and friendly!
Cons: Room Lighting too contrived and not soft enough! Design too pretentious and old style! Shabby!
5.8 Okay
Pros: Helpful concierge, great location, nice decor
Cons: Room service order on the first evening took 1 hour and 15minutes to come and they still got it wrong. Ordered 2 salads and only one came and reply from staff was... ‘I only have one. ‘. Chicken in the salad was raw. Had to ask for extra towels every morning, had to ask for toilet paper as it ran out and house keeping didn’t bother to replenish. We wanted to buy public transport tickets and first day they were selling them at reception, the other days we were told to go to central station. Breakfast was mediocre. Rooms were not so clean.
Xo Hotels Park West - Amsterdam - Bedroom

8.6 Excellent (12,364 reviews)
Overview Reviews
Amsterdam has a reputation as being a place where you can experience unmatched freedom, but the reality and the reputation differ in many ways. The Amsterdam that many people think they’re going to visit ends up with travelers pleasantly surprised by the Amsterdam they encounter. It is known as the Venice of Northern Europe with the canals and has a history of welcoming refugees – one of the most famous being Anne Frank. Staying in Amsterdam means booking a great hotel, one of which is Xo Hotels Park West. Xo Hotels Park West offers travelers the very best of Amsterdam. This modern hotel gives guests the very best in terms of luxury and location. The city of Amsterdam is very walkable, so you can find some great sights just by taking a short stroll. Other amenities in the hotel include a business center, so if you are traveling on business, you can get ahead by using the facilities along with the complimentary WiFi to complete your tasks. Dining in Amsterdam is quite eclectic. The city is very international and you can enjoy many types of cuisine including some great Dutch food. The hotel restaurant is open for breakfast, but there are not dining options in-house aside from that. No big deal though, as there are plenty of options within walking distance. When staying in Amsterdam, be prepared to enjoy the very best that is offered by Dutch culture. The city is amazing, and staying in this great city is as easy as booking a room at Xo Hotels Park West.
4.5 Okay
Pros: The closeness to public transport Helpful and friendly staff
Cons: Not very clean Far from city Not pleasant looking from outside Expensive for what you get The room had a large stain in the carpet that was damp and wet. There was hair and rubbish in the bathroom bin and on the sink when we arrived. The toilet buttons and bed clothes were also dirty.
5.0 Okay
Pros: The breakfast was great. The beds were comfortable
Cons: Our room air conditioner never worked correctly! We were hot for two nights. We were never offered another room. They did work to fix ours but where not successful. They finally gave us a fan but room temperature still was not good for sleeping.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Loved the USB ports. Nice size room.
Cons: They have computers to check yourself in but they still needed staff to assist. Waste of time. Just have staff assist you to check in with the computer. Same amount of time and manpower.
9.4 Excellent
Pros: Everything was great as expected
Cons: It does not have a gym
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything is very good!
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Everything was perfect
Cons: Breakfast
9.3 Excellent
Pros: We had a quadruple room sharing with our teenagers, which was spacious and well equipped. The hotel was modern and comfortable and although a little way out of the centre, was right next to the 19 tram stop so it was easy to get into the city. Plenty of free parking on site also.
Cons: Nothing I can think of.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Good location (tram 19 going straight to city center), good breakfast and nice rooms. Also very easy to do the check in/out as you can do it on computer on your own, so no need to wait.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The service was incredible - very helpful and polite bar staff and reception staff. We loved our modern and comfortable room with an incredible bathroom and good storage space.
Cons: We ate once at the restaurant and it wasn’t great value for money or choices. But the food was ok, I had the soup and I would have it again. Also the location isn’t central but is right beside a tram and a 7 min walk to solterdyke station which was perfect for us as we went for a festival near there.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Very spacious room, with good aircon
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location and transportation links, big hotel, lovely breakfast
7.5 Good
Pros: Modern rooms, newly refurbished and well dressed. Comfortable beds.
Cons: There were issues with the air conditioning which made it quite uncomfortable to sleep. We asked for a fan on the last night. Friends in other rooms at same hotel had good air con. We were in room 528. The restaurant below - quality of food is not great, highly suggest eating elsewhere - great family owned Italian restaurant close by! Location is a bit far from the city centre but we knew that when booking - the price reflects this :)

7.5 Good
Pros: very cool hotel, easy to access with metro, uber etc, the staff is super nice
Cons: rooms were not properly cleaned, old and uncomfortable bed
9.5 Excellent
Cons: when we was there a group off teenagers were messing around in the lobby and a staff member got into s little fight at the front door of the hotel pushing the teenagers out the hotel which was good but no need for violence
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Clean and comfortable rooms. The rooms were big compared to other European cities we have visited.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Clean, modern place with a student vibe and friendly stuff with lots of common area. Had basic facilities I needed such as coin laundry, dryer, gym etc. They offered a free latte and other kinds of coffee in the coffee counter in the lobby!! Great!!
Cons: There was no fridge. Also the bed mattress was not the proper one(only the thick stuffed mattress, without sprinkles)
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Really good gym, bikes, good internet, nice rooms.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location close to public transportation but I would recommend renting one of the hotel bikes to explore the city, comfortable large bed in a spacious and clean room.
Cons: It’s quite expensive and (the okay but not great) breakfast wasn’t included in the already high price. Although the rooms are very clean, it’s very easy to make a mess of the little bathroom. After one shower the entire bathroom will be wet without proper ventilation.
6.8 Good
Pros: Warm welcome, lovely breakfasts.
Cons: We mentioned a live exposed plug in our room which my partner accidentally touched (plugs on side of bed and something from previous guest had been broken and snapped in socket) and got a bad shock. We told staff, not to complain but to have them notified for safety and nothing was done. We also didn't like having no bedside tables, paper cups for morning hot drink on room and that the room was cleaned every other day. Fresh paper cups not replenished etc.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Location was great, very close to a huge park, zoo, and has a local supermarket. If its your thing the church of Scientology is across the road as well. The hotel is one train and metro away from the Airport and only takes about 25 mins. The metro is 30 seconds away from the hotel and can be used to quickly travel across the city form a reasonable cost.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Room very comfortable, clean and spacious. Room and all the building with an interesting design. The hall space oh the hotel is very good to stay with couches, tables, reading room...
8.0 Excellent
Cons: Sink in the shower did not work, which made it difficult to take even a very short shower without flodding the room.

Pros: I fell in love with Amsterdam and was extremely satisfied with the hotel we were staying in for 3 nights. It is 20 mins away from a city centre on the tram bus. The hotel is very clean, stylish and quiet. the door in the bathroom is transparent, so be aware before you book it as you might be a shy type of person lol There is a nice bar on the 10th floor, pity they are not open all night:) highly recommend, it should be a 5 star hotel
Cons: Design, cleanness
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The rooms had air conditioning and great curtains so it was cool and dark at night. The bed was really comfortable - best sleep in a long while!

Cons: The toaster at breakfast !
8.5 Excellent
Pros: Good rooms and location
Cons: Minibar wasn’t working
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Rooms are a good size, beds are comfortable and the reception are very helpful.
Cons: Was a bit expensive for food although the quality of the food was mainly good. There are places a short walk away that do the same or better quality food for half the price. Staff in the sky bar let the rest of the hotel staff down, really rude and over charged a few times which felt deliberate.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean easy transport to city and airport staff very helpful .
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel feel
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great breakfast
Cons: It’s quite far from center, but they have bike to rent what it’s a great deal

Pros: Clean, modern, quiet area easily accessible by tram buses etc
Cons: N/a
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Everything! What a great place to stay. Staff were fantastic, hotel really clean, excellent facilities in the Skyybar, restaurant and well-being center.

Pros: Great location. Close to train station. Great bars, cafes and restaurants nearby (10 minutes). Excellent staff and concierge. Good sized room. Loved the shower.
Cons: -Had some trouble with one staff member; a trainee that charged my credit card incorrectly.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Centrally located. Very convenient. Room was exceptional. The concierge was very helpful in booking attractions and tram tickets
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I love this stylish, super conveniently located hotel. It is literally walking distance to the main train station, tram stops, and Hop on/Hop off bus and boat meeting places and most of the canal tours. The hotel itself is lovely, with great rooms, service, staff.
Cons: The construction zone presented some logistical challenges. Hopefully, it will be over soon and the hotel will be just outstanding.
5.5 Okay
Pros: Stayed for four nights. The rooms are rather big . I really liked Vic’s bar downstairs.
Cons: For two days the sheets had stains (blood) on them that’s wasn’t ours. First time I left a note for the cleaning stuff. Second day in a row I call the desk to report the problem. There was a guy on the phone who said that he would sent someone right away. I waited for an hour but no one came. We had to sleep on the stained sheets. Next day I go to the front desk to state the problem. They said that they would sent someone to change them. That’s it, no apologies no nothing. They didn’t seem to be surprised. That was my biggest issue. Of course the rooms that gave upfront have a lot of noise from outside, it makes it hard to sleep. Overall I would not recommend this hotel. It’s not worth your money.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The perfect location in Amsterdam. The hotel is in front of Center Railway station. And service people in the hotel are very nice and helpful. And the main bed is very big and comfortable.
Cons: The room is far away from the reception, because you have to go one floor up, and walk about 20m to take another elevator to reach to your destination. From the main door to the reception, there are 5 steps. if you have a heavy luggage, it feels not convenient.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Location, room size, updated
Cons: Slow and small elevators
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was great and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Location of the hotel was great and close to all of the main attractions. The rooms were comfortable and new-looking. Our family really enjoyed the stay at hotel. We would recommend this hotel.
Cons: Too much plastic use (Amsterdam in general should stop using so much plastic). The beds could have been more comfortable.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Very comfortable and quiet and loved the mod cons.
Cons: We had a problem with the air con that wouldn’t turn off and we had to make daily phone calls to reception, there was a smell in the room that wasn’t very nice. The last night the control panel stayed lit up all night so made the room very light.

Cons: Nothing work in my room to advance new room but not working I can’t put AC down They gave me the room late 5 o’clock TV not working most of the time
