10.0 Excellent
Pros: The host was super nice and welcoming! We had very short time to see Civita di Bagnoregio and she saved us by giving us a lift to the entrance of the city. The place is big, sparkling clean and comfortable. Would recommend it to anyone anytime!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Welcoming host, very nice facilities, comfortable bed.
Cons: Walking distance to the town but a bit too far to the main attraction.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It was very clean and staff was very kind. I'd like to stay here when I come again!!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: A fantastic house with beautiful furniture. The place is very near to the civita. The most kindness host.I love the house so much.I’ll booking next time.: )
9.6 Excellent
Pros: I was made welcome with a genuine smile and shown all the facilities and conveniences. Elisa had thought of everything, provided every option for breakfast, and tea/coffee. The rooms were comfortable, clean, well organised and spacious. It was definitely good value for money. Thankyou.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The owner greeted us warmly on our arrival which was later than we had anticipated; she was very understanding. The accommodations were warm, welcoming, and felt like home (a long way) from home ! The owner took great care in providing us a wonderful experience: her home was clean, very comfortable beds, well stocked refridgerator and explained, with great care, how the coffee maker, lights, locks, and more worked. She provided us with fresh fruit, water, coffee, milk, meats and cheeses, bakery items & bread for toasting...eccezionale !! Upon our departure she asked us to wait, she rushed down from her home & sent us off with a warm, Italian hug & kiss and well wishes for the rest of our stay in Italy.
Cons: We were extremely fortunate that we were traveling with our daughter who lives and works in Rome: she was able to translate for us but the owner went out of her way to be understood, using a translator function on her phone. We appreciated her efforts in dealing with us, Americans :- )

Pros: Mr Vincenzo was very attentive and kind, he has payed amazing attention to the smallest detail in decorating the beautiful room and providing all the necessary things for a comfortable stay, the breakfast at the beautiful garden.
Cons: Slow wifi connection
10.0 Excellent
Pros: What an amazing breakfast! He prepared the nicest little spread for us in the morning and we got an amazing view. I've been in some 5 star resorts and this was potentially as good if not better as it was really authentic. The host was super helpful with searching for bus times for us and giving us info on the area. Would definitely stay here again.
Cons: We had to check out at 10am, which was a little too early as we had come back from a wedding the night before. It would have been great to have an extra few hours in bed. The host apologized to us later so maybe hadn't understood us when we asked about sleeping in. A little more flexibility with the check-out would be great. He did let us snooze in the garden though.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was amazing...lots of choices....croissants, sweets, cheese, meat, cereal, yogurt and the cappuccino was great! Our room was quite large and very clean. There was a little fridge in the room. The bed was very comfortable. We had a little sitting area outside our door to enjoy our wine that was very nice surrounded by flower pots. The owners went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable and thought of the little things to enhance our stay. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at La Polinnia!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Within 15 min walking distance to bus stop and Civita village.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Owner was very kind. He explained a lot of tips for Civita. He gave us free parking ticket that we could park our car parking near the room. Walking distance to Civita(10 min.walk the park before bridge, 30 min. walk to Civita). Good Italian restaurant around the room.
Cons: It seems there were ticks in bed and towel linens were just a little bit old.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: We were so looked after, it was a lovely room with good facilities, and a highlight was the gorgeous breakfast outside on the terrace. Highly recommend.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was absolutely beautiful. Very large and spacious, with a big comfy bed, TV, desk, and a seating area. The owners were really friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was delicious. It is very well located, with Civita di Bagnoregio about a 10 minute walk away. Definitely a great base to explore that unique city.

Pros: Stayed here for 1 night travelling from Rome to Florence. Cute remote little village if you’re looking for somewhere to relax. The B&B is perfect with an unbelievable breakfast served in the garden.

Pros: Very nice staff, confortable room, thank you!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Staffs are very kind and parking onsite is provided. Room is clean with kitchen facility.
Cons: Narrow stairs up to the room, its a bit difficult with big luggage.
7.5 Good
Pros: The staff (different from the one we ran into in the morning) was super nice when we checked in, very helpful and friendly. So it's hard to believe that they hire so different people to manage the property. Plus, the location was fantastic if you want to visit Civita around sunset or/and sunrise.
Cons: The staff in the morning showed up drunk and late for 2 hours. So the breakfast and the tables weren't ready when we were about to check out. He was very rude to the guests and obviously didn't know what he's doing. After we checked out (with receipt), they constantly send me a message saying I didn't follow the process and didn't pay. WTH, we returned the keys and asked for the receipt (and got it). I really didn't know what else should I do to "follow their policies".
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Given the simplicity of this out-of-the-way town, the hotel was fine : simple and out-of-the-way. Room was spacious and clean.
Cons: Incredibly steep stone outside steps to the room.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Best location, clean room, friendly staffs
Cons: It would be the best if I could take some more dishes in the breakfast. Only a coffee and a bread were served.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff is quite friendly and helpful. The room is larger and clean with facilities such as simple kitchen and tools for longer and comfort stay. It's also closed to the vista city only takes 20 minutes walk.
Cons: I know there is a so-called ZTL zone that does not allow cars from rental to enter. I was not quite sure is the hotel in the ZTL zone or not, so I made a call. It will be very helpful if the guide is listed clearly in the description or somewhere obviously-noticed.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very close to walking the bridge to the city
Cons: I didn't realize it was an apartment style.
10.0 Excellent

Pros: The host Sandra is lovely, can’t speak English but uses her iPad to translate
Cons: The town doesn’t have restaurants open on Friday night -we ate cold pizza from the grocer If you want a good restaurant you must go to Civita which is quite the hike and unsure it’s open in the evening Enjoyed lunch in Civita I would stay in Orvieto next time and visit Civita - need 3 hours max

Cons: There are a lot of stairs and inclines. You need to be aware of that if you have physical limitations.
7.9 Good
Pros: This is a great property if you want to stay in Civita Bangnioregio! Host met us to show us around. Was very hospitable! Property is comfy and great if you want to have a place to convene other than bedroom. Ask for a blanket if you want one. We didn’t have any but we didn’t want to bother the host who lives off property. It wasn’t cold so it wasn’t too bad. It wasn’t fancy but it was comfy, and great location in middle of town. Breakfast at bat next door was simple But nice.
Cons: Could use blankets and more pillows. The pillows are very firm.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Fabulous, clean, code and tea making facility, so close to the centre square and the host, Marco, very welcoming. Highly recommend staying here.

Cons: Hot water was not enough.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very cute little apartment we had to ourselves, homely atmosphere. The location is great for visiting the Civita as well as just strolling back after dinner as there is a solid selection of restaurants just down the road. Despite limited communication due to our non-existent Italian, we felt well taken care of.
Cons: Not a deal breaker, but would be better if the curtain in the bathroom provided a little more privacy from the street.
Civita B&B - Bagnoregio - Building

8.1 Excellent (572 reviews)
Overview Reviews
Civita B&B is located in the main square of Civita di Bagnoregio, a unique hilltop village connected to the mainland by a single bridge. With views of the village square, the double room features elegant and simple furnishings. It is equipped with a TV and private bathroom with free toiletries. A sweet Italian breakfast is offered each morning. The restaurant Antico Forno is situated on the 1st floor of the building and serves traditional Tuscan food. Lake Bolsena is 20 km away, while Terni can be reached in a 1-hour drive.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The location was the biggest draw of this B & B. We stayed for 2 nights in a lovely cosy little room that overlooked the main square of the church. It was a real experience being able to stay overnight in this amazing village. Unfortunately, my sister was sick for the whole stay, which means we will have to return on our next visit to Italy. A big thank you to Franco who went out of his way to help us and get medications for my sister. It is nice to meet people who care about their guests and we will be forever grateful.
Cons: The restaurant at the B & B was not functioning and we were given breakfast vouchers for café across the square. Staff here were not very friendly or nice and coffee served was cold - but this has no reflection on Franco's establishment.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The village of Civita di Bagnoregio itself is picturesque and full of charm even during daytime. At nighttime, when the sun goes down and both the tourists and locals leave, the place takes on a wonderfully tranquil abandonned feel. If you decide to stay overnight, the B&B Civita is definitely a nice place to stay! The B&B is located bang in the middle of the village, in a medieval stone building on the main square. The rooms all face the square and the church, The room I had was bright and clean, with a large, comfortable bed. The bed sort of filled the room, but the owner had managed to fit in a wardrobe, bedside tables and a small desk. For me, it was perfect as I was travelling alone, but the room may feel a little cramped for some. The en-suite bathroom was clean and everything worked well. The shower had plenty of hot water and good water pressure. The host was away when I was staying at the B&B, but he had kindly left keys and information for me to get into the property on my own. I was the only person staying that night, and as the little village emptied of people after sundown and everything quieted down, my being all alone in the centuries old building added to the magic feel of the place. As the host was away, the restaurant on the first floor of the B&B was closed, so I did not have dinner here. Nor did I have breakfast, but I was provided a breakfast voucher to use in a bar across the square. I would love to come back, both to stay, to try the dinner and to get a chance to meet the host. And I would like to take the opportunity to thank the host for letting me stay in the property 'unsupervised'.
Cons: Everything was good!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Welcome from the host with wine and stories. Dinner was perfection. Slept like a log.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Loved the location - right in the heart of Civita. Very old building which has been thoughtfully updated. A great shower too. Even though it was an ‘apartment’, the kitchen facilities were minimal
Cons: Stepping around the bidet to get to the toilet was a little challenging.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The B&B was right on the square, nice cosy room. Great place for an overnight stay while you explore the hill town.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We loved everything about this place. Franco the owner met us at check in, and was so kind. The staff is wonderful, the food is great, the wine is great, the room opens up onto the main square. This place is wonderful.
