Pros: Location is in the middle of the town veey close to the beginning but not on the noisy main street, so we had a good night sleep. We arrived at night which was a bit cokd, they welcomedus with already burnning fireplace it was great! When we wanted am extra night and they didn't have availability they even helped us got a new place!
Pros: Very cozy place. Two rooms with fully equipped kitchen and a fireplace. The manager Luis was a sweetheart. Took great care of us, lit the fire before we came back everyday, to make sure it’s warm. He was greeting us with a big smile every time we came back to our cabin. Ran to buy milk for us when he heard my friend drinks coffee with milk. Perfect place to stay in the area!!!!
Pros: Our cabin was new, big, clean and well decorated. The staff didn't speak English, but was friendly. There was a chimney that made the cabin warm and cosy.
Cons: Wifi didn't work, but we didn't extremely need it while being in Patagonia :)
Pros: Staff was very helpful & accommodating.
Cons: It gets cold at night in the off season and the cabin is heated by a wood stove. This means the fire goes out while you are sleeping and you wake up to a really cold cabin. No kindling is provided, so you must put a coat (or whatever) over your PJs & get someone to light the fire again and then wait for the cabin to heat up, which takes some time.
Pros: Accommodation was very clean and comfortable. Nice bathroom with good toiletries. Nice wood burner in room with firewood provided. Good TV with a handful of English language channels. Well equipped kitchen. Owners were friendly and organised. Let us put our bags in the cabin even though they were still cleaning which enabled us to go on a trip to the Marble Chapel and come back later to check-in.
Cons: The WI-FI wasn't very reliable and was non-existent at times.
Pros: location and the fireplace was good. The hosts (a nice venezuelan couple I think) Luisa and the male host I dont remember his name, where very friendly and tryed to help us with our needs but unfortunately there was little they could do. Also a good thing is that they have tours and can be arranged directly (although the tour we wanted was already booked so we did it with other agency, but Luisa helped us to contact them)
Cons: The hot water was not working and they didnt tell us upfront... only after we ask what was going on. They move us to a different cabin but still was the same problem wich happens frequently in carretera austral during summer due to the abnormal amount of people in those small towns so the sistem colapses and there is not enough water pressure to turn on correctly the gas water heater (calefont). Beside that issue, the window in our room was leacking so much air that the curtains will move all night (we end up puting one of the towels to keep air and cold from coming) The cleaningness was less than desire. There was also a construction going on just next to our door and they didnt tell us when booking. Lots of hidden things and surprises you dont want to experience once you are already there without any other option to stay. It would be better if they tell this upfront so you decide consiously if you want to take the chance anyway.
Pros: The staff. The girl at the reception is so kind, gentle, high recommended. The guy the cut the wood for the heater is absolutely fantastic. He is one of the greatest, most gentle, always smiling people we ever met here in Chile. Best wishes to him.
Cons: The place is so fine, wonderful. But the cabana is definitely not so clean. Should be cleaned much better. The "sheep chair" should be much better cleaned, and also the sofa. Other things are very good.
Pros: Wifi ok. Parking ok
Cons: Cold. No heating. Under construction. Noise. Checkin was confusing. Front office not manned.
Pros: Location is perfect, staff was very helpful with the facilities and helping on getting us on a tour.
Cons: Wi-fi didn’t work very well, water in the shower was cold, there was no wood for the fireplace and you feel the mattress springs when in bed. The Cabanas are in renovation though, should be improved soon.
