Room balcony with a wonderful river view. Hotel staff is kind and helpful. Spa & sauna were clean.
It was difficult to find the hotel because all sign on road show only words "Hotel". We didn't know if these signs meant this hotel or not until arrival. We booked a table for dinner when we checked in however it didn't make.

Mooi ruim opgezet hotel. In etages tegen de berghelling gebouw. Erg gastvrij personeel. Goede keuken. Mooie ruime kamers met uitermate schitterend uitzicht over de Dourovallei. Tip: alle kamers op niveau 2 hebben 100 % privacy, direct vrij uitzicht. Ook mooie uitzichten vanuit het zwembad. Een echt relaxhotel met prima service. Enig minpuntje is dat het hotel slecht via één tijdrovende kronkelige bergweg bereikbaar is.

Hotel design, staff, facilities, and brilliantly relaxed atmosphere.
Fairly remote. Difficult if you don't have a car. The walk from the closest train station (Aregos) is 20 mins up a very steep hill. Not nice in the plus 30 degree heat. Though the hotel said they'd send a car if I'd have called. Still, would be worth noting somewhere prior to arriving. Wouldn't put me off going again though!
