Pros: The cosiness and the privacy. The food was excellent.
Cons: The staff were marvellous, polite and very accommodating Sarah was a fabulous host. Tall lamin was wonderful nothing was too much. Especially as we came out of season. Would definitely come back again
Pros: Large rooms, pool, great patio/courtyard, amazing birds
Pros: The bed was very comfortable, I slept well. The room was ok.
Cons: Not having hot running water for the shower. The shower doors needs to be fixed and cleaned. The ceiling needs to be fixed as there was water falling on to the stairs in the room. Could have slipped. Ensuring the room is cleared of any insects. Make sure they is sufficient lighting on the outside of the room door and ensure it works. Opening the room door from the outside was difficult. It would have been nice if you had a telephone in the room where you can call reception. Keeping outside trees and flowers trimmed at all times. General domestic to be done daily, that includes cleaning of furnitures.
Pros: Truly beautiful - nice beds, tropical birds, wifi, and air conditioning
Cons: Very hard to find (the locals know it as Blue Bar)
Pros: We stayed at Hibiscous House with our daughter and friend who are 7 + months through a frugal and hard 12 month volunteer year. The girls loved the comfort, privacy and the food! My 13 year old son loved the friendly staff and enjoyed the drumming night.. We all had a great time. Sarah is a warm host and Hibiscous House is a beautiful and relaxing place to stay. Although situated quite away from the beaches, the hotel was able to arrange transport so we spent a couple of relaxing afternoons swimming in the sea. Fantastic! Thanks Sarah and staff
Cons: Everything was perfect!
Pros: We loved the garden setting filled with bird life. The staff were brilliant and there was a lovely peaceful atmosphere - just what we were looking for.
Pros: Stunningly beautiful boutique resort with amazing staff. We loved our short stay and would gladly come back. Service outperforms many 5 star luxury resorts so hats off to all employees! Rooms were spacious and beautiful. A perfect place for a relaxing vacation.
Pros: The pictures give a real view on the reality! It is cosy, calm and a good getaway after long days. The food is very good!!
Pros: Breakfast was lovely. Their fruit pancakes were yum. The location is perfect if you want to be away from the main tourist area (we did) but you do have to take a taxi everywhere. This is not too much of a problem because they are not expensive and often you want the driver to stay with you for the duration of your trip out. The layout of the garden around the pool was really well done and the birdlife in the hotel garden was wonderful. The atmosphere amongst guests and staff was really great. Many of the guests were involved in development or charity projects in The Gambia, dentists from Belgium who had given 5 days to run a clinic, a couple who had started a Sponsor a Teacher Scheme, others who were involved with the local schools. It is a special place and you will bump into interesting people.
Cons: It would have been nice to be able to walk to a beach for a swim, but you can't have everything :-) The local beaches (not walkable) were beautiful. It does feel sad that you've got to drink bottled water (and alot of it) and therefore leave a whole load of plastic behind. The water in the hotel was probably ok but we didn't take the risk. It would be fantastic if it could be treated and made available for bottle refilling.
Pros: I stayed 7 nights in February in the Avocado suite, which was nice and spacious . It is a very nice and peaceful place, with vegetation and a lot of different bird species in the garden. The persons working here are very friendly, but not at all pushy. They were pleasant and acommodating. The atmosphere was very nice. The food was excellent, very tasty. I enjoyed the buffet one night with different Gambian dishes (as I understand served on most Fridays) and I enjoyed listening one night to their Gambian House band. Hibiscus House is situated in a village and not a the beach. However taxi is quite cheap and the staff can help you to plan an excursion to the beach or somewhere else and get you a taxi with a reliable driver. If you don´t need to have the beach and the bars very close, but want a relaxing place where you can get some kind of feeling of Gambia this is a very good place to choose, really an oasis.
Located in Brufut, Leo's Beach Hotel & Restaurant - Adults Only is by the ocean, within a 10-minute drive of Tanji Bird Reserve and Bijilo Beach. Featured amenities include dry cleaning/laundry services, multilingual staff, and luggage storage. A roundtrip airport shuttle is provided for a surcharge (available 24 hours), and free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Very spacious rooms and bathroom. Everything was very clean. The garden and swimming pool are very nice places to hang around and relax. I liked the small path leading to the big beach. The food is really good, a mixture of different European flavours. The place is very quiet far from the restaurants area.
Cons: The curtains didn't have blinds.
Pros: Everything is taken care of and runs smoothly like a clock. Amazing food, facilities, atmosphere, every detail is just right.
Pros: Beautiful hotel and restaurant. Spotlessly clean. Beautiful gardens and pool. Excellent staff who addressed me by my first name at all times which was a nice touch. Room was very comfortable with air conditioning and a fan. This little 6 bedroomed hotel is an absolute gem and I would highly recommend it. The unspoiled beach is only a minutes walk from the garden of the hotel. The two taxi drivers associated with the hotel, Doudou and Mohammad were also excellent in their knowledge and were very friendly. Congrats to Nina and Louis the owners for creating this amazing hotel!!
Cons: It's almost impossible to point out something I didn't like!! If I was being picky, I would say that the croissant at breakfast was a little below the excellent standards set by the kitchen.
Pros: Third visit to this hotel, in my opinion the best one in the country. With only six rooms, you know that you will get looked after by the staff and they do not disappoint.
Cons: Nothing not to like, I think guests would be hard pressed to find fault with anything in this little gem.
Pros: It was fantastic and tranquil. Wonderful vibe
Pros: Very clean, staff very helpful. The location is perfect with the beach only a few minutes away. The beach is very quiet, ideal in Gambia so you will not be pestered. Nina (the owner) is very helpful and assisted me in a minor problem I had, nothing to do with the hotel !. I have been to Gambia 5 times and this place so far has been the best, all the guests I have spoken to whilst there were returning customers. Would highly recommend.
When you stay at Riyan Apartments in Serrekunda, you'll be near the beach, within a 15-minute drive of Kololi Beach and Banjul Beach. Featured amenities include a 24-hour front desk, multilingual staff, and laundry facilities. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Nice pool, well equipped kitchen so you can easily cook yourself. There’s a grocery store downstairs and also local store on the side street. Very easy to get (local) taxi. Walking distance to good local restaurants. Fans in the ceiling. Place to hang clothes to dry. Rooms was clean.
Cons: Toilet paper needed to be asked. Mosquito net screens had big holes and no net over the bed. Could live with this though by closing some of the windows and room doors during the night.
Pros: It was my second stay here and I especially like: well equipped kitchen, soft and smooth bed linen, storage space, full length mirror, thorough room cleaning, supermarket and café downstairs.
Cons: Limited selection of TV channels
Pros: Excellent location and friendly helpful staff.
Cons: TV reception not very good.
Cons: Payment is Cash only or International Bank Transfer. This should be made known to clients well in advance of travelling.
Pros: In addition to the usual friendliness and cleansiness that I find in Gambia, at Riyan there were lots of nice touches such as the drying racks for each appartment, the beautifully soft and fresh bed linen and towels, the well equipped kitchen, the large storage space/walk-in wardrobe. Pool, garden, paintings by African artists, and book collection also impressed me.
Cons: Everything met my expectations in relation to the price and standard of accommodation.

Cons: lighting wasn't that great
Pros: Staff was super helpful and friendly. Food was amazing. Cannot find anything at fault during my stay. Had a lovely time. Thank you all!
Pros: The staff where most helpfull and the rooms where comfortable. The location was a little way out for me causing issues with taxis which was sometimes a long wait.Once local taxis where sourced(as advised by the owner of Mango Lodge) problems where totaly eliminated.I didnt use the pool but it was well maintained.
Cons: Very little if any.
Pros: Staff were wonderful without exception! We loved the location and the atmosphere. The only thing that needs attention is the water supply which the staff admit needs attention, otherwise wonderful!
Pros: A nice relaxing stay, staff always on hand to get you a cooling drink or snack. We had the Roundhouse which had a huge comfortable her and large set room. It was just a few steps away from the pool.
Cons: Occasional long wait for a meal.
Pros: The staff were friendly and bent over backwards to make us feel welcome.the food was excellent and sarj the manager was very professional with everything we were treated as part of their family. All the staff work very hard and would do anything you ask washing was done by hand and done to perfection though I think it would be great if they had at least a twin tub washing machine even though they never complain about their chores. The food was excellent and done to everyone's aquired taste if you wanted less or more or spicy or not so spicy it was delicious. The tour guides and other helpers were amazing I would stay here at every given opportunity which I intend to in November if possible.
Cons: There was nothing I didn't like everything was what I expected and more
Pros: It is a beautiful place, with lovely staff and excellent food. Would recommend.
Pros: Wonderful staff, you feel at home the moment you arrive. The place is run with love, from the hand-painted decor to the excellent home cooking. Highly Recommended!
Pros: Staff were very friendly
Cons: no Water for shower in afternoon/evening. Dribble in the mornings. Room dark lightbulbs low watt rediculous. Bed sheets sweaty material. Noisy dogs barking throughout the night. Photos are deceiving. Dark miserable room. Wanted to cry. Tried to book another place to stay but locally was fully booked.

Featured amenities include a computer station, dry cleaning/laundry services, and a 24-hour front desk. A roundtrip airport shuttle is provided for a surcharge (available 24 hours), and free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: The staff is AMAZING!!! From Alhasan at checkin, to Ms Fatou our villa custodian to the many security staff they made our visit extra special
Cons: As it was the off-season both the hotel restaurant and bar were closed BUT its located 50yards from the SeneGambia strip where there were ample dining options
Cons: But an obsession with selling extras.
Pros: The hotel has a very professional staff and processes, offering all support for a very pleasant stay. The Hotel is also very well located, in front of a beautiful beach. It was very relaxing staying there. The restaurant was also very good and the swimming pool clean and well maintained.
Cons: The bathroom could be better - renovated - although it wasn't bad for this part of Africa. Renting fast internet and obtaining credit for air conditioning was a bit strange but understandable in a part of the world where electricity is very expensive.
Pros: Everything about the facility is up to standard
Pros: We were so impressed with the management and staff.. they were helpful, friendly and went out of their way to please. A very spacious villa.. fabulous for a family with the option of self catering or eating in the restaurant..which we liked. Surrounded by attractive grounds and with the beach just by the pool. There was games.. football , volleyball etc..if you wanted to join in. The food was very good..perhaps breakfast could have been a bit more comprehensive..definitely have an African massage..brilliant and amazing value. Wi fi not great.. which I thought was a bonus ! There are very good restaurants near this hotel. I recommend the scala.
Cons: The cooked breakfast was not great.. our breakfast at home is better! The town is interesting..lovely people.. but I wish there wasn’t so much litter around. I suppose it is due to lack of infrastructure in Gambia.
With a stay at Roc Heights Lodge in Bakau (Cape Point), you'll be within a 10-minute drive of Kololi Beach and Bakau Beach. Featured amenities include dry cleaning/laundry services, a 24-hour front desk, and luggage storage. A roundtrip airport shuttle is provided for a surcharge (available 24 hours), and free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: The staff were friendly & extremely helpful. We were in walking distance to the local restaurants & beaches. The breakfast was simple but tasty. The pool was lovely to use after busy day.
Pros: The staff couldn’t have been more helpful in ensuring we had a nice stay and everything we needed. The property is well managed with a beautifully garden which was only used by us during our stay which made it feel like our own private area. The pool was well taken care of and clean. There are a few handy restaurants close by which are affordable and it’s also a short distance to the beach. Breakfast is adequate, but limited variety The Staff are really what made it, and were more than happy to go out of their way to ensure we had a pleasant stay
Cons: The wifi was a significant issue and was unavailable 90% of the time, but this could be more of a regional issue. Location might not be for everyone- the streets are dark at night with no street lights which you do have to walk down to get anywhere after sunset Being so far out from most things did feel isolating after around 5 days after you’ve seen everything in the area. On the day of our departure we were not provided with breakfast, this was a little unusual and caught us off guard.
Cons: Slightly low speed of the shower
Pros: The manager Omar was really helpful, and the staff did everything to help us
Cons: The road outside was a clay road, and dark in the evening. Having said that we felt very safe. Absolutely no problems there. Everybody greeting us as we passed.
Pros: Helpful, friendly staff and excellent cleaning staff. A 5 minute walk to restaurants at Cape Point.
Cons: Although breakfast is provided it could be a bit more inventive. The lack of an onsite restaurant is a minus and a small shop where essentials could be purchased would have been handy.
Pros: Guesthouse away from the tourist Hotspot, but in great location. Basic but sufficient breakfast. Friendly staff.
Pros: Everything about the place, especially the friendly, family like atmosphere.
Cons: There was nothing I did not like.
Pros: Omar was very helpful when our tour pick up did not arrive on time, making multiple phone calls to chase them up. Nice room and decent breakfast. Quiet location away form main tourist areas, but easy walking distance to restaurants and beach.
Cons: Had a nice bar area but very limited drinks available. Would have been nice to have more of a bar service, although there was a good bar & restaurant within 200 metres anyway
Pros: I liked the room, the gardens, the service and the quiet location near enough to the beach but far enough away to avoid the hustle and bustle of the beach area. The place was spotless and the breakfast quite enough, with delicious omelette.
Cons: There was nothing I didn't like. I felt totally happy and relaxed. Omar and his staff looked after me in every possible way. Perhaps only having instant coffee was a tiny disappointment.

Featured amenities include express check-in, express check-out, and dry cleaning/laundry services. Guests may use a roundtrip airport shuttle for a surcharge, and free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Nothing good was said.
Cons: I could say so much, but honestly I’m tired from the experience so I just don’t even want to explain it all. Just know I will NEVER give two red cent to them again.
Pros: The hotel was so beautiful and the staff was amazing. When we arrived we were led to our room. I reserved a basic room and it was quite nice. By the time we walked back from the room I asked if there might be a closer room to reception because it really was hard for me to walk that far. They found a deluxe room for us that was very close to the front and right by the pool!! AND then he told me they would not charge us any extra! The staff was so helpful and kind. Definitely would go back!
Cons: The grounds are so expansive i just wish I could have experienced everything there! I would have loved a/c in the reception area, but that's just my spoiled self talking!!
Cons: Only soap. Transfer from/to the airport is not free as supposed.
When you stay at Metzy Residence Hotel in Serrekunda, you'll be near the beach, within a 15-minute drive of Kololi Beach and Banjul Beach. This hotel has facilities measuring 3229 square feet (300 square meters), including a conference center. A roundtrip airport shuttle is provided for a surcharge (available 24 hours), and free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Room service and cleaning were good. The pool also was good and clean.
Pros: The location, some staff were very friendly and helpful.
Cons: There was nothing wrong with this hotel or our room, however I felt the pictures did not accurately reflect the hotel, which led to disappointment. I thought the standard we received was fair given the price we paid, but felt disappointed that the property wasn’t as advertised.
Pros: The friendliness of the staff, the room size, the quality of cleanliness, the turn around time for your request, the honesty policy, the location and the price of the hotel
Cons: The noise on the ground floor was appalling, no provision for mosquito or screen nets on their sliding doors and the construction work noise
Pros: It's okay
Pros: I highly recommend this hotel. Very good location, 1 min walk from the beach and the few restaurants around. Reception staff was very nice, pleasant and helpful. That is actually true for all the staff in the hotel, the security, waiters, cleaners etc. Very clean room and the daily cleaning service is excellent. Bathroom is modern with all the necessary stationary. Air conditioner unit with very good quality. Nice pool and maintained yard of the hotel. Basic breakfast, but fine.
Pros: Love the neatness of the hotel generally, very friendly and helpful management & staff
Pros: Large clean rooms. Nice pool
Cons: Bad breakfast. Nice staff but not trained well-enough

Pros: The owners, Nikki and Neal are really fantastic and nice People. Very friendly and they do everything to feel you comfortable and happy. The house is perfect with clean rooms, toilet ensuite and with all the facilities, better than others in this country we visited. Nikki is a great chef and the Christmas was one to remember in my mind.
Cons: Imposible to say something negative for this place.
Pros: The friendly welcome throughout our stay and nothing was ever to much for the owners and there staff. The food was amazing as well . Thanks Nikki and Neil.
Cons: Nothing at all . It was the best place we stayed by a mile.
Pros: Nothing was too much trouble for the owners or their very attentive staff.
Pros: Braeck furst not good Only alday kooking and bakking ey verry poor braeck furst
Cons: Better B F better diner not so expensif Better management ,all personnel have live the hotel on 31 /01 . Only Wurry stay alloon Whe con not use Visa cart Niki want cash.
Pros: The management go out of their way to ensure you have a relaxing and enjoyable stay (even going as far to arrange onward transport to Senegal in my case). Food is fantastic.
Pros: Nikki, Neil, Soloman and Wuri were all great and couldn't do enough to help. The accommodation was lovely and we loved cooling off in the pool at the end of the day. The breakfast was exceptional too
Pros: Beautiful gardens with many birds, quiet location, fantastic food, friendly and helpful staff
Pros: The facility is run by lovely couple of Neil and Nikki (sorry if misspelled, but I am Polish), so this is very friendly and open-minded place for people who love to spent time in family like atmosphere. Be however sure that owner knows exactly where and when is good time to entertain you and when to give you space for the expected privacy. Besides they are extremely helpful - will arrange your trip, got decent deals with locals and solve all minor problem you may have being in Gambia with great patience and devotion. All the typical African problems you may expect were always treated with great attention and devotion. Half-board or the meals served are really delicious and adjust to your expectations and diet customs. On the top of it I really think that this place is the definition of the bed and breakfast in its highlights. I have no doubt that for my 30 years travel experience I have never felt like home anywhere else like in Nikki's an Neil's. I already miss dem next day after I left.
Cons: I could not complain.
Pros: I enjoyed the hot showers, swimming pool would have liked air conditioning instead of fans but it's not a 4/5 star. Hospitality was great treated with respect and I felt very safe. They both tried their best to please the guests.

Cons: The hotel is very clean and comfortable for anybody who likes to relax
Pros: Clean and comfortable room with A/C and good shower
Cons: Paid in local currency and rate of exchange was not the best compared with local bureau de change
Pros: The staff was very friendly and helpful if you have a complaint are a request they will always listen and try to help
Cons: Peaceful and perfect if you want to do a lot of travelling around the country
Pros: Great customer service from staff.
Pros: Close to the beach. Very good food in the restaurant.
Cons: They "forgot" to write the wifi password in the room. Frequent power outage that includes the internet. Paid for ac but did not work after one night. Check was not made in the front desk, you had to call a manager...

Pros: beautiful view, friendly staff. great pool! convenient location
Pros: Paula the host was fantastic and I loved Teddy her puppy. BB was very helpful and friendly
Cons: Lack of choice at breakfast the waitresses were not very friendly and didn’t engage with guests. Bottled water should have been in the bedrooms and topped up daily
Pros: the place where a welcoming smile meets the ocean breeze! Laid-back en very peaceful, the rooms spacious and clean, the staff friendly and always happy to assist. you need transport to get to the restaurants but that is not a problem. the hotel is located at a beautiful beach where you can still make long walks and enjoy sunbathing without being hustled too much.
Cons: breakfast could be better if the cook was a little bit more creative but I'm sure they would be open for suggestions.
Pros: All of the staff were smiling, friendly people and so helpful. The food was excellent. Our room was spacious and comfortable. The pool and gardens were lovely and only 5 mins walk to get to the beach
Cons: Nothing to not like.
Pros: We had the large family room lots of space kids loved Teddy the dog overall a lovely place to stay
Pros: Friendly staff and manager, large room with air con and fan. Good facilities, garden, pool and oudoor eating area. Bubakar who showed us around and took us on our tour was excellent and very friendly.
Cons: Not changing bed linen and towels daily.
Pros: it lies at the most beautful stretch of beach. there are plenty of bars and beach restaurants :)
Cons: the place is a little bit remote, so there are no shops or restaurants, but
With a stay at Swiss Boutique Hotel - Adults Only in Serrekunda, you'll be on the beach, within a 10-minute drive of Kololi Beach and Bijilo Beach. Featured amenities include a 24-hour front desk, luggage storage, and laundry facilities. A roundtrip airport shuttle is complimentary (available 24 hours).
Pros: The Hotel is a lovely contemporary ,Cosy Eco Hotel which runs straight onto the beach, (Similar to Coco Ocean) There is a outside bar beside the pool with plenty of sunbeds. Inside there is also a bar and restaurant area where you can eat inside or outside facing the sea. The food is very good too with a varied menu - the chef is ready to accommodate any special request within reason. Lovely staff and Management who where all very helpful and ready to accommodate which made my stay lovely, Rooms where very quiet comfy and cleaned daily, tv, safe , fridge communal areas cleaned daily Wifi throughout My initial stay was for 2 nights due to business - I returned a couple days later with friend who checked out of a unsatisfactory hotel and into the recommended Swiss Boutique Hotel and they were absolutely delighted with the accommodation, food facilities and stay not to mention a visit from the monkeys whilst relaxing on the patio both myself and friends would definitely stay here again. Hazel (UK)
Pros: The hotel was beautiful and quiet. The staff and owner were amazing. The evening chef has to be the best cook in The Gambia, because the food was cooked just right and so tasty.
Cons: The Manager (I do not know his name) was not that nice and a bit rude. The room was super clean but the mosquitos in my room from the cleaner opening the window left them in my room and I was bitten all over through the night. (Make sure she does not open the window and if you see mosquitos please have them to spray the room immediately)
Pros: I don't think you'll find many hotels in Gambia as thoughtfully designed as this one. The room itself was excellent (high ceilings, comfy beds, reliable hot water), but it also has intentionality to it that you don't find elsewhere (it's completely powered by renewable energy, tasteful art). Staff were attentive and accommodating. We stayed for almost a full week and loved it. Highly recommended.
Cons: I wish they had better coffee for breakfast! But you make do with nescafe...
Pros: Really lovely staff, very good chef, clean, big rooms, outside areas well managed, very private and relatively small amount of rooms makes it feel more like you are in a private villa with your own team of staff! The hotel works mainly off solar, which minimises the impact of the regular power cuts that effect other hotels in the area. Rooms have roof fans and are nice and cool if you need to escape the heat. Staff and management really do make the place. They certainly went out of their way to make sure we enjoyed our stay. Chef is very good. Lunch and dinner dishes are all really tasty and fresh. Nothing overly complex, just really good food, well presented and cooked with skill.
Cons: Nothing much. The beach out front is great but not really set up for going out there to spend the day sunbathing. We tended to use the pool and garden and just go out on to the beach for a walk. The breakfast is possibly a bit basic for the room cost. It’s from a menu rather than buffet style so you need to ask for what you want rather being able to graze. This obviously minimises waste and isn’t necessarily a bad thing. Maybe there could be a compromise option where some dry cereals and fruit are available to pick at and the rest is off menu? More of a suggestion than a complaint though.
Pros: Nice view. Clean rooms.
Cons: Where do I start. The problem with this hotel is the lack of service. The lack of toilet rolls and towels in the rooms. The lack of breakfast options. The lack of other guests. The dirty pool. The staff sitting around doing nothing and when you ask them they don’t seem to have any answers. Not their fault. Bad management obviously. This place is badly run and it’s obvious from the moment you walk in. Not value for money. I would never return. Luxury!??? No tea or coffee facilities, hairdryers, irons, etc. Not that I use all these but that is bog standard in 3 star hotels I Europe. Here they charge a lot and really scrimp on service.
Pros: Very quiet and absolutely clean Very friendly staffs
Pros: Great location, friendly staff.spacious clean rooms.the proximity to the beach makes more attractive.
Pros: The location has the elements of nature. Quiet sea view, lovely beach, trees arranged in a perpendicular format, adding spectacular beauty to the back of your room.
Cons: Hot water shortage on of the mornings I was there.
Pros: Hotel was clean and away from the hustle and bustle of areas further up the beach. Food was delicious and the manager so welcoming. Spent hours chatting and always felt like we were at home. I can't recommend staying at this hotel enough.
With a stay at Kairaba Hotel in Serrekunda (Senegambia), you'll be within a 15-minute drive of Kololi Beach and Banjul Beach. Featured amenities include wired Internet access (surcharge), a business center, and dry cleaning/laundry services. Planning an event in Serrekunda? This hotel has facilities measuring 400 square feet (37 square meters), including conference space. A roundtrip airport shuttle is provided for a surcharge (available 24 hours), and free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Sijainti ja ympäristö
Cons: The food was better outside. Breakfast was vety good.
Pros: Large hotel with beautiful green grounds
Cons: For the money it was not worth it. the WiFi didn’t work the entire time we stayed which is hard when you need to get things done. The area is very touristy and you are constantly harassed. We got sick off the food which was over priced and terrible. Some of the staff were relentless at the pool. Would not recommend
Pros: bar/room staff very friendly. Gardens and beach amazing.
Cons: Utterly unprofessional management who refused to even discuss a dispute with the bill and called in the local police to prevent me from leaving.
Cons: At the moment of paying the hotel, the counter staff informed me that my credit card, beside an extra cost of 3% for using the card, couldn’t be charged on local currency, but dollars. To make the calculations, they used the hotel exchange rate, not the official exchange rate, increasing the bill in about 12% of additional cost.
Pros: Excellent breakfast, Excellent grounds, Pleasant staff, Good location
Cons: Housekeeping needs to improve - Sheets not changed for days, ran out of toilet roll and took a day to get one after my request. Making a double bed out of two single beds with single bed linen unacceptable and very uncomfortable. Hotel needs a general face lift.
Pros: pool, friendliness of most staff, location
Cons: cleanliness, no attention to detail, needs renovation, poor internet, rip off on credit cards (3% surcharge + favorable exchange rate), not even complimentary water
Pros: Comfortable room. Friendly staff. Good food.
Cons: The beach is eroded, so you generally have to go to a neighboring hotel to experience the beach.

Pros: The location for the beach is 3min walk an the staff are so helpful an you can trust them an that's important for 1st time travellers to Gambia .the food that's sold next door is good very homely cooking
Cons: There is not a thing I did not like for the price an the staff is a bargain I'm from the uk an this is very good value for money that's why I stayed longer than I booked
Pros: The staff was super nice and organized some meds while I was in bed
Cons: They push you to pay 10% in advance via bank transfer! even threaten to cancel the payment. This is impossible while you’re traveling Also, they charge 7€ per day if you want to use the air condition. That seems like a scam There was an old guy with several young women, obviously not his chess mates... the hotel shouldn’t support this behavior. They where squeaking and playing music The neighbor house is super loud and neighbors were partying till late
Pros: Best place in Gambia. Travelled for many years now. This is the best in every catagory. Hotwater in shower and breakfast is nice, good wifi !! will be back soon.
Cons: Neighbours dog is a angry one. He could be silent
Pros: Good price, very quiet, located close to good restaurants, spacious room with a parlor, AC, internet
Cons: Swimming pool empty
Pros: Beautiful garden and close to beach
Pros: So close to the beach. Great location. Staff were friendly and helpful.
Cons: Very shabby & dated. Looks like it was last refurbished at least 10 years ago. Smells musty.
Pros: The location and the staff we met were all nice, also the breakfast
Cons: The apartment was not well cleaned. Swimming pool was closed.
Pros: Very good for rest. And stay alone or familly.
Pros: Everything. The hospitality and the smiley faces of the staff especial. The location is a minute walk from the beach!
Cons: Load music comming from nearby and monkeys on me roof making a noise in the morning
Pros: This is a cozy place with friendly people. The staff does a great job and welcomes me with great hospitality. Rooms are basic but ok. The ceiling fan works very well. You can also use AC, but have to pay extra for it. The mattress is comfortable. It is hot water in the shower and the water pressure is good. There is also a table and two chairs outside each room. I feel safe in this place. The location is close to the beach and here is also local shops, hotels and restaurants just few meters away from this area.
Pros: The staff were excellent, the lady’s who clean the rooms and wash clothing are fantastic at what they do. Security were all friendly. Great location.
Cons: For the first 10 nights of our stay we had no WiFi. We were told on our first day that the price of air con was 350D then when we went to pay it the price went up to 500D for no reason.
Pros: Great staff and brilliant location
Cons: The room was tiny, it was ground floor and the main window was broken therefore was permanently open and unable to be locked. There was a remote control for a tv but no tv. I had no amenities in the room - not even a kettle to make a drink. the main light didn't work...all in all it was a very poor place to stay.
Pros: Very friendly Staff. Good atmosphere! Tasty breakfast. Awesome location right next to the beach.
Cons: Mattres was not very confortable
Pros: Everything was great, would stay again. Basic but value for money
Pros: The location was very good, and so the staff.
Cons: The room was a bit small for an eight nights stay, A/C is extrapayment, and the cleaning was deficient. Since it was low season, there was any bar o restaurant in the hotel.
Pros: Close to beach Friendly staff Rooms cleaned daily Manager very pleasant and polite. He hosted and organised my birthday party. He was a superb host and the party exceeded my expectations he worked very hard and it was a very memorable occasion due to his diligence and his excellent organisational skills. Thanks Mr B otherwise known as doc.
