Pros: Mary is a superb host and it is so lovely to stay in the family cottage, with so much history. Pros: I really enjoyed the quietness of the accommodation and the central location to travel around the innishowen peninsula. The hosts were lovely and very attentive to the detail of the room requirements. Breakfast was amazing Even though food is not usually on the menu every weeknight I was told it would be served if I needed a meal as they would not see anyone go hungry. The weekend menu was beautiful well presented and plenty to choose from. Highly recommended for solo female travellers felt very safe and a real homely atmosphere. Live Music is on Saturday evening and not on Friday as on the website but plenty of lovely music playing in the background and locals in for a drink were very welcoming.

9.5 Excellent
Pros: Spectacular location, close to Malin Head, one of the most wonderful places in Donegal. This B&B is not a fancy one, as the house perfectly reflects the character of the Irish countryside, but this is exactly why we liked it. Charles made our stay very pleasant: he is a wonderful host and a great cook; the breakfast facing the ocean was a plus!
Cons: Nothing wrong.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Laid back & easy going .. very personal
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The cottage was cozy and the owner was extremely friendly. We could have talked all night.
Cons: It was hard to find since Booking.com had the wrong name and the GPS coordinates were wrong. The owner has requested that Booking.com correct this but it hasn’t been done. Luckily some extremely friendly locals at the pub guided me to it
5.8 Okay
Pros: The owner was very nice and welcoming. It was a quaint cottage and the view was nice.
Cons: The room was very, very basic, bed and floor lamp only nothing else at all. The wifi worked at first but then stopped. It was an older house and the room could use some freshening up some. The bathroom was in the same condition. We were very disappointed after seeing the ratings.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: You can't get accommodation much farther north on the Irish mainland and the view across the bay from the cottage as lovely. This is a traditional cottage that likely was thatched at some point in the past. Charles was the consummate host and made sure we were looked after and provided us with a lovely breakfast.
Cons: The weather..but only for a day..

9.3 Excellent
Pros: The staff in the hotel could not have made us more welcome, they were so friendly and couldn't do enough it felt very homely and we would definitely book it again. Also the location was perfect over looking the beach and only a short distance from the Ballyliffin Lodge where we were going to a surprise birthday party. Very good value for money.
Cons: The evening meal was larger than I am used to, three courses, but it wasn't a problem I just should have eaten earlier.
