Pros: Perfect stay with wonderful hosts. I highly recommend a stay at cullebta house.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Derek and I have holidayed in north and Southern Ireland a fair few times and met some lovely people. At Cullentra House Olive and James and their family were warm friendly sociable people and went above and beyond what you’d expect from a B&B. Anyone who knows me will tell you I am very particular and can usually find fault ( it is a standing family joke ) but I can honestly say I could not fault anything at all . I usually say “if you can’t say anything good then don’t say anything at all “ and this is my very first review because I feel this establishment warrants it. I would say to you Just Try It for yourself . Maureen Merricks

Pros: Marlagh lodge is highly recommended! It is is a truly lovely place to stay, with a special ambiance and hospitality! Robert is a fabulous host (ably assisted by the lovely Penny- sorry if I’ve remembered her name wrong), really friendly and helpful. Robert is a great cook, the breakfast was delicious, especially the warm breads and the stewed plums and good coffee, which is crucial! The decor in both the room we stayed in (the blue room) and the whole house was fabulous, so beautiful and true to the period of the stunning property. The photos can’t really do it justice. 9.5 Excellent
Pros: Lush food, well done to those chefs! Lovely and super helpful front of house staff! Clean and comfy. What more do you want?
Cons: Tv signal cuts out
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Booked a single room but it was enormous. Very clean and comfortable too. Staff very friendly.
Cons: For some reason the scones left out at breakfast were like rocks and could barely be cut (no other issues with breakfast). My room and my colleagues room were littered with little signs warning people about being charged if evidence were found of drinking their own alcohol in the room which I found a bit much.
7.5 Good
Pros: Hotel was clean and elegant, and the beds were quite comfortable. Location was good as a stopoff on the way to the Giant's Causeway
Cons: The hotel was kept brutally hot, but we remedied this by turning down the radiator itself. The hotel also has a very strict policy about bringing any outside food or drink into your hotel room, going so far as to make you sign a release form when you check-in that they are within their rights to charge you a $50 fee if they find any "evidence" that you violated this policy. I get the drinks bit, but the food thing just seemed odd. It was just a little off-putting as we have an 8 year old that is very used to some cheerio snacks during bedtime reading.
7.5 Good
Pros: Breakfast was good, location was good (there's not a lot you can do about that?) room was nice, kettle a bit odd as I had to move it to another table in order to plug it in!!
Cons: besides the kettle everything was good. Not cheap though

Pros: Bad start but rectified brilliantly
Cons: Pillow way too hard. TV too small.

Cons: Sadly the noise from the females in our adjacent room up drinking, whooping, shrieking and tittering all night left us having no sleep. But this is absolutely not the fault of the polite and well mannered host who was helpful and has a lovely property. This is a much nicer hostel than the vast majority at which I have stayed

Pros: Everything was fantastic! The host family was very friendly and accommodating. It was a beautiful home and yard. They allowed the kids to run around and showed them the chickens and well as let them collect the eggs... kids didn’t want to leave. We couldn’t thank them enough for their hospitality and kindness toward the little ones. The hostess even called down to town so we could go get something to eat after we arrived. Pros: We like that we were not obligated to have a cooked breakfast, a continental breakfast is available. Our room was really big, so enough room for our baby boy to play. We slept really good in the comfortable beds.
Cons: We found a few smaller items on the floor that could have been dangerous for our 15-months old boy (hair pin, pieces of paper, even a finger nail)

The accommodation is far more than just comfortable being maintained with pride by the family for many years. Pros: Atmosphere food staff all top marks
Cons: No swimming pool
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: It looked pretty from the outside. Well kept visually.
Cons: This was our first ever visit to Norther Ireland. We were excited about the hotel we were about to stay in. After a long trip, it seemed like the perfect place to rest for the night. Unfortunately, we were very wrong, as it was one of the worst experiences we have ever had in our lives. I don't know if all hotels treat their guests this way... I hope that this is not the case. If you do decide to stay in Tullyglass, make sure that no weddings are on during your time there, as you will be able to hear every single sound in your room. We had to sit through loud music, which was up to 60dB in our room, until 1:30am! It didn't help that two weddings were on at the same time. I don't know about you, but holidays are meant to be a time of rest and relaxation, and hotels, a place where you can escape all the noise of your daily life. Well, this was the complete opposite of that. Without a good pair of earplugs, you have no chance of rest there. In the end, when leaving the hotel, I brought this issue up, but instead of a solution, an explanation or an apology, I was left with a sarcastic laugh. In conclusion, I do not recommend Tullyglass Hotel, unless you come prepared with full soundproofing gear.
