Very upmarket Very friendly Nothing too much trouble None
Very high standard of service from host. Room a bit small. Sliding door into ensuite shower room compromised privacy.
I felt like I was visiting relatives who live in a luxurious big house. By far the most comfortable bed. I didn't want to get up. Elaine goes out of here way to make sure each and every guest is comfortable and taken care of. I highly recommend staying here. I stayed so that I could see the Giant Causeway, it was not very far away and Elaine gave me a map of the suggested Causeway Route. Fabulous!
We were made very welcome and had an excellent stay. The accommodation was superb, excellent breakfast in the morning and very comfortable No bad reports to give
Very friendly and attentive hostess. Beautiful room, house and gardens/patios. Amazing breakfast. A friendly dog to pet if you like dogs! No bad points to report.
Comfortable, quiet, extremely friendly proprietor, excellent breakfast. Very good value, too. None
Very well presented and maintained house. Very friendly and welcoming hostess. One of the best B&Bs I have had the pleasure to visit. An understated effort was made to make you feel as welcome as possible and it was much appreciated. N/A
Pinetrees is absolutely fabulous. None.
Friendly and welcoming place to stay No bad points
Very helpful staff, extremely clean and comfortable rooms. Superb breakfast. Highly recommended!
Absolutely beautiful luxury suite. Superb breakfast that I an ashamed to say I could not finish! Could not fault a single thing!
Beautiful house in a beautiful part of the world....with a typical warm irish welcome...... Only minor point... Check in could have been earlier, no flexibility shown when calling to confirm time...
Both the bedroom and bathroom were impressive - gorgeous, stylish and clean. We stayed in 4 different locations on our week-long Ireland trip and this was easily the most impressive. The breakfast was equally delicious. The only thing we didn't like was a subjective matter, we found it too hot in the room at night and had to open the windows to get relief. Maybe there was a thermostat in the room but we didn't see one. We did not bother to complain or ask for assistance as it was late and we were only there for 1 night so opening the window was sufficient.
the most amazing guest house ever , definatley a hidden treasure. The interior design here has surpsased anything ever or anywhere ive ever stayed , fantastic food also.
As ex-hotel management I could find no fault with anything Having to leave
This b&b was the best we stayed in during our trip to Ireland. I would recommend it to anyone. The facilities were clean and comfortable and the staff was very friendly and hospitable. None! This was an awesome place.
Great location, excellent room and the breakfast was great. Very friendly and made to feel welcome. None
Very Friendly owners and a great place to stay, will come back soon
Great food, beautiful house, very helpful staff, huge bathroom with a great size of a shower, beautiful view through the window...
Friendly staff who from the outset made us feel welcome. They offered to book our evening meals at local restaurants and had copies of menus to help us in our choice.
My sister and I stayed for two nights and absolutely LOVED the room. It was decorated very nicely and the bathroom was awesome... great shower, towel warmer, etc. Breakfast every morning was delicious and there were plenty of options. The location was great for us, close to everything we wanted to do in Northern Ireland. The bed was a bit too firm for my liking but that's my only complaint. :)
Shower control a bit temperametal
my friend stayed here and could not hae been treated any better,, throughly enjoyd the short time in strand house
Everything at Strand House was excellent. It is furnished to a very high level, with comfortable beds. My wife really enjoyed the whirlpool bath. A lot of thought and care went into the breakfast - the freshly squeezed orange juice and fruit salad, and the best bacon I can remember.
Very welcoming, excellent facilities (dvd player and small dvd collection), lots of home made food, advice on where to get dinner and go for walks and very quiet.
No praise would be high enough for Strand House. Ernestine & Kate two special ladies. Rooms, food and hospitality were 5 star. It would be impossible to find better anywhere. Thank you for a wonderful stay.
Welcoming - home from Home - very friendly - helpful - relaxing - would go again - N/A
Breakfast was excellent
We would like to say many thanks for the kind hospitality received. The food, the rooms and the attention was wonderfull so we had a fantastic weekend at Northern Ireland. If one day we come back for sure that we will stay at the strand house so we recommend that hotel 100%. No.
Welcome cuppa and homemade scones on arrival. Spacious room with adjustable heating and great facilities. Sofa and footstool......excellent. Lounges to relax, library and daily papers provided. None
Warm, friendly, excellent service, wonderful room, spotlessly clean, great location. no
An absolutely outstanding Guest House Hotel. Tom and Ernestine were excellent hosts; warm, friendly, considerate, helpful. Accommodation was exceptional in its provision of every conceivable comfort. The breakfasts were amazing ! Fresh fruit, beautifully prepared, wide variety of cereals and dried fruit, sumptuous cooked breakfast - full Irish. Tremendous personal attention and service.
Warm and friendly Irish hospitality.Quality and value for money. Highly recomended. Nothing
Rather shabby bedroom with no armchairs.
loved every minute of it!
Staff very friendly and helpful. Food plain but well cooked and presented. Good musical entertainment in bar. A bit more care in tidying up. Soap left in shower from previous occupant. No tv or radio in room
Friendly staff, good food, off street parking Mustry damp smell in small lounge off bar. Loud music until circa 1 am 1 night. Stay was for 2 nights.
Fitted in with the Irish Countryside and provided Irish evening music and singing Food pricing was excessive for a rural country hotel. Same meal in Belfast was on average 35% less expensive. Room rate was excessive for location.
The hotel is near the major coastal attractions The room was dated, the en suite was falling to pieces, the food was pretty poor. OK if this was a hostel, not OK for what we paid to stay there.
The food was pretty good, honest pub grub. The bar was nice and lively without being overpowering or unwelcoming. The guy on reception didn't seem too bothered about us when we arrived and the service in the bar and over breakfast the following morning was quite poor, we were left waiting for some time.
staff helpfulness, music in the bar and a friendly feeling during the evening. the food was not really up to standard - fish and chips appeared in 5 minutes (ie not long enough to cook it!) and the inside of the batter was uncooked and sticky, not edible. Also we requested a disabled room or walk-in shower, no availability, it would have been nice to be notified of this in advance.
Well maintained, appears recently refurbished and good sized comfortable room. Restaurant menu was varied, good quality and good value. Great location for visiting the north coast of Ireland.
