The Banff Hotels Sunshine Mountain Lodge is a mountain-top boutique hotel nestled in Banff National Park. The hotel is 77 miles away from Calgary International Airport and only 20 minutes away from Banff city center. The Banff Upper Hot Springs are a popular visitor destination only 25 minutes away by car. The hotel features 84 non-smoking rooms in Canada’s oldest national park.

Location, location, location. If you plan on activities around the Banff area, I would recommend staying elsewhere. 15-20 minute drive to Banff PLUS, at best, a 20 minute gondola ride. The novelty wore off after day 1. Gondola stops at 1800 everyday. If you arrive after, you may be waiting the better part of an hour for the next shuttle, if there's room.
