The pool, food, room and service were all wonderful. The best touch? A smartphone included in your room for your use during the extent of your stay - including free unlimited local calls, free international calls to certain countries, free internet to explore...what an amazing benefit!!
3rd stay at this resort and over the years it has consistently exceeded expectations and left a very pleasant after taste. Location is away boat ride away from city, touch of paradise with easy access to hustle and bustle of Bangkok. The food is good, service is intelligent and hotel grounds are beautiful. Its great for families yet you wouldn't know there are kids around. Great for couples, and great for a few days sight seeing plus relaxation. One of my all time favourite hotels.
It's really very nice and comfortable hotel, we enjoyed our stay. Maybe bit far from the center, but there is a free of charge boat, which takes you directly to sky train statoin. Breakfast is vast. Also we had some food in the Elephant Bar, everything was tasty and for reasanoble money. It's very cool pool area. Prices at Mandara Spa are too high.
My favourite things are the swimming pool area, the breakfast in The Mrket restaurant and Trader Vics bar with the band. The free Boat Ferry is cool too. The rooms and bathrooms are a little out of date for the price charged.Much better rooms for half the price can be found around Bangkok.
Well designed hotel, beautiful gardens and swimming pool area, river view, free boat transportation to skytrain, excellent service and facilities, had a relaxing time
One of the best hotel staffs I've ever encountered. Very nice resort-hotel. Great dinning options, other dinning options located in adjacent shopping mall. Small 7-11 store a crossed street. Nice large pool area Only negative was the small river channel on the property was very smelly at low tide. Only time I noticed it was at mid afternoon. Not a deal breaker. All in all this is a great hotel that I would stay at again and again.
Nice restaurant facing the river. The description of the room as "City View" is very misleading. Should have been "Slum View". It was very noisy and the view was of a depressed slum. We had to keep the curtains on to avoid seeing the outside and the people from the building across the street seeing into our room.
It is new (you know a new hotel is better than the same category one not new), in the center, well communicated, and good views. Very difficult to talk to staff. English is not the best in Thailand. They are also new in the job and they do not control very well their duties and explanations to the customer
The location was quite good . 2 steps to express boat on river chao praya Rooms with cityview are very very lound due to live musíc played every night nerby.
The hotel has balkony with a view to Chao Praya. Location is also very good. Breakfast was really good and the you can have it on a terrace which has a view to the river. Hotel staff couldn't speak well in English.
The room was very nice and clean and the staff was generally friendly and helpful. The location is also very good, in a walking distacne from the main sights (Palace) and restaurants and bars.
Free internet via WIFI is good.
I like the location of the hotel; on the river, near khao san area. I like having a balcony. I felt the price is too high for what the hotel is. I stayed here 2 years ago for half the price, which I felt was a good price; for the price they charge now, you can find better.
Great location, nice rooftop swiming pool Restaurant staff, poor breakfast
the staff were so accomadating when we were checkin out.they stored our bags, and gave us towels to shower before we left the hotel for the airport. the only place we ate whilst in Bamgkok was in the hotel restaurant, whilst on our flight back to Ireland my friend got extremely sick with food poisining from the dinner we had the night before.
Roof top pool, closeness to restaurants, bars, stalls etc, the hotel restaurant is great My view. I booked a delux city view which I paid extra for but only got a view of the road and pub opposite
The pool was very nice, the foot massage also, as was the room, the bed, and the bathroom. I couldn't switch on the ligth on my balcony. but that a small thing;)
The hotel staff was extremely friendly and helpful. They picked us up and dropped us off at the airport and gave us an excellent to-go breakfast since we had to leave at 5am Many mosquitoes in the room. They put us in one room with mosquitoes, and when I complained they moved me to another room, which was also loaded with mosquitoes. In the room we settled in I ended up killing 5 mosquitoes (which I had to do at 1am since we checked in at midnight). I hate mosquitoes.....if you do to, I would not recommend this hotel. The management needs to attach vinyl door bottoms where the large gaps currently exist under the doors, and they need to keep the windows and doors sealed at all times so that mosquitoes don't fill the rooms (one of the rooms they put us in actually had the window wide open when we entered it....no wonder there were mosquitoes all over).
Very efficient shuttle service to and from airport. The hotel is clean and the staff very polite. Good for an overnight stay near the airport. Very near the airport, So near that you can hear the planes over your head, taking off every 2 minutes until 2 a.m.
perfect shuttle service, very friendly helpful staff, near to the airport but quiet, small &nice pool, perfect food in the small restaurant belonging to the hotel, good breakfast. Ideal for the price for one-night accomodation between flights. everything was perfect.
I like that they have fre transfer from/to airport
