Pros: Location central to most parts of city
Cons: I had sheets changed 3rd day of 11 day stay. Left tip for Katia, she changed sheets while I was out all day, I returned to find my door bolt out holding door open and no one around except the neighbors.... I went directly to management and was put off for 5 days. I was told by a mnanager his manager would contact me the following morning at 8:30am and never heard from them. My fiancé went down finally on the 7th day and complained in Portugues and they moved me to bigger room. I only left other room because I didn't want someone cleaning my room that was so irresponsible. I have stayed at Radisson Blu and other Radisson red all over the world and never had such a disregard for my personal belongings. Luckily I use the safe. However if anyone wanted to, they could have went in and walked off with the safe as they aren't bolted to concrete. They are put on top of a wood shelf. Although I appreciate the room change 5 days later, if I had Radisson name on my hotel, and this happened to a guest, I would credit their stay for free and move them to another floor where someone that is responsible works. As well I paid the room cleaning person for something that is free. Just out of respect. Which the respect wasn't returned. I wouldn't stay at the hotel again unless they refunded this trips money for the stay. As stated the management didn't seem to care at all, until my fiancé went an spoke to them and explained I was told I would be contacted and was never contacted.
Pros: The hotel is located in a safe area, it’s modern, clean and meets all standards of an international hotel. I will certainly book it again.
Cons: Staff don’t speak English which becomes a problem to communicate.
Pros: Staff were excellent. Great breakfast. Good food with a local flavor.
Cons: Need milk and spoons for the coffee machine in the room.
Pros: Good room, excelent bed, good restaurant, but the staff is excelent, always keen to make your stay more agreeable.
Cons: Lighting of the room. Although it had excelent natural light, its use of white lights made the room look cheaper at night.

Pros: The 2 beds inside the room made a really difference. Staff was very friendly...
Pros: We liked the quality of the bed: box-spring, not too old, no 'dent' in the matress.
Cons: Room was somewhat smallish.
Pros: The only part this property has to offer that is a very good, is the room rate. It makes staying in Belém very affordable in reasonably good three star surroundings.
Cons: All the facilities are very dated and although still functional, require a serious facelift

Pros: The place is very romantic and cozy and we loved the pool. It’s a beautiful hide away.. love it!!!

Cons: It is very old
Pros: Pleasant informal but decent treatment. Nice gym. Super location.
Cons: The internet connection kept on being interrupted
Pros: The location and he breakfast are very good ! The staff is friendly. Some staff speaks some English. The pool terrace isn't particularly great looking but you can sit and enjoy in the evening.
Cons: The whole place needs an upgrade. Old wooden doors for de rooms. You can see it used to be a top hotel in Belem, if they do not upgrade and maintain the facilities I would say that there are other places in Belem which offer much better value !
Pros: Good location and reasonable facilities. Breakfast was good and there is a very nice pool area for a city centre hotel.
Cons: The rooms while decent sized are looking a little tired and dated

Pros: Beautiful structure Room very comfortable and spacious Very good bed
Cons: The breakfast was lacking regional fruits
Pros: Beautiful hotel at the heart of Belem.
Cons: The restaurant is independent from the hotel which meant nothing could be added to our bill and if you were in the pool no food or drink were offered to you. But this wasn’t really a big problem just perhaps higher expectations from us. Overall loved it
Cons: It was not so clean.
Pros: Good sized rooms
Cons: Very noisy as our room faced the small park area our front Staff spoke very little English Did not respond to WhatsApp message sent in Portuguese Did not respond to email sent direct As a result had to pay for a night we had tried to cancel
Pros: The building is a very well restored and maintained historical one. Walking distance from Mangal das Garças, one of the most beautiful touristic place. The room is clean, the bathroom has good size with small window to outside which makes it more airy. The bed is really comfortable, excellent linen and pillows. The pool is awesome, new chairs and spacious for sunbathing or just resting. There is easy inside parking and the street is also an easy option
Cons: Although staff were friendly and available, they now almost nothing about touristic information and there is not enough resource or material available on the front desk. The wi-fi is not good in every room, working better on the outside areas.

Pros: It is located in a safe and nice area, with good restaurants and bars next to it. We asked to have a shower in the afternoon, after our check out, because we had an intercontinental flight at night and they gave us a room only for ourselves without any further payment. I would definitely suggest it!
Pros: Comfortable beds, clean rooms
Cons: Staff could be friendlier/more hospitable If all beds were booked, I imagine the bathroom will be insufficient
Pros: Happy faces. Clean rooms and good service!!
Pros: Decoration was gorgeous, staff is super helpful and there's lots of stuff to do!
Pros: Not much more than the localization, since I was expecting something much better based on booking evaluations.
Cons: When I arrive they told me to pay, but the card machine was not with enought paper to print the receipt, so they told me to pay again. Results: I paid twice and they only gave me the money back when I was leaving the hostel. Terrible staff, they didnt know how to cancel a credicard transaction or even give out touristic informations.
Pros: Good location, cool bar, comfy room
Pros: The shared space was nice and clean.
Cons: It has only one bathroom for the men's main shared room and it gets really dirty and crowded.

Featured amenities include a business center, dry cleaning/laundry services, and a 24-hour front desk. Event facilities at this hotel consist of conference space and meeting rooms. Pros: Great breakfast
Pros: Place is fine, it is walkable to the old city and market area, but you can always use Uber obviously. Room was clean. Many restaurants around.
Cons: Breakfast could be better with various options or at least better food.
Pros: The Belém Soft Hotel is a medium hotel where you will find the necessary conditions for a short term stay. The location of the hotel is quite good, because is located in an area with many restantants and cofee shops, shops and shoppings of distinguished quality. The room is simple but clean, having no more than the bed, a small refrigerator, a television which the images are not the best, a small table to you to work in your computer, a wardrobe and the bathroom where the only amenitie provided is a small soap. The breakfat is good having in general the items that you need to start a day with a good meal.
Cons: In the bathroom where the only amenitie provided is a small soap it should be provided some amenities that one travelling need as shampoo and hair conditioning.
In Belém in Nazaré neighborhood, the Grand Mercure Belém do Pará is the perfect choice for a well-located hotel, where the Círio de Nazaré procession passes. 2.6 km from Belém bus station w/ easy access to the city's airports. Enjoy the comfortable & modern rooms, a touch of Brazilianness in all settings, free WiFi. Also enjoy regional & international cuisine in the Baccalá restaurant.
Pros: The bed was comfortable and the shower was powerful.
Cons: How this hotel was given a 5 star rating is beyond me! The receptionist was curt and demanded my partner unpack their suitcase there in the lobby to produce the required documentation before she would check us in. The barman didn't speak a word of English and whilst I might expect that in a 3 star hotel I would not expect it in a 5 star hotel. The bar area was small and the décor in the restaurant was basic. The pool was on the roof and was small and uninviting. The wifi didn't function properly and so I decided to watch TV, then some channels didn't get a signal. I would only give it 3 stars and wouldn't ever stay there again.
Pros: bed and shower
Cons: Old hotel stuck in the previous century. Needs refurbishing. Especially lighting system is antique
Pros: Breakfast is nice. and Reception staff and house keeper is kind and nice. High floor has nice view. Room condition is not bad.
Cons: EV is too late. and Security is feels like fragile.
Pros: Great hotel, lovely breakfast, good location
Cons: Construction work going on
Cons: Terrible breakfast, problems with bathroom, bad meal on room service, missing furniture in the room like a table, a chair and also a travel bag holder. Very small swimming pool.
Cons: The staff is arrogant and not honest at all. Took advantage of a situation to charge my friends an extra R$140 for a supposedly extra guest in the room, but we ordered a double room, with two beds, for two friends. They didn’t want to include the second guest’s name in the system. Unbelievably selfish and unreasonable
Cons: Would like to be able to pay online instead of only reserving the room online.
Pros: Breakfast is good.
Cons: Hotel needs a restoration. Reception smells good but the rooms don't...
Pros: Good location, nice breakfast.
Cons: I booked Superior Room with a king size bed. but I got a another size bed room and low floor. The view on the lower floor is not good at all. I was very disappointed by the room which was different from the reservation.

Pros: The staff was very nice and helpful. Good location!
Cons: The room was not very clean and smelled really bad (fungus on the walls).
Pros: The hostel is really nice. The staff is super friendly. Even helping with planing a trip, booking tours, doing laundry etc. The rooms are really neat and everything is very clean. There is cooking equipment, a fridge and all you need. Aircon in room works. There is a small "locker", but you need your own lock. The room i stayed in was a bit small for so many people. So I couldn't take my big bag into the room, which was a bit annoying, but ok. Hostel is in a safe "bario", rather the richer part of the city. Supermarket just 2 minutes away. Walking distance to the docs and city center is a bit far tough (25min).
Cons: There was a big group of people staying in the place. I have no problem with that, except for the fact, that it would be nice, if the staff advised them to be quiet at night time (sometimes it was really LOUD, even after midnight).
Pros: Breakfast was good. However, on the day I left, no one was there to prepare the breakfast--no coffee, no breakfast.
Cons: The washroom facility was bad; the shower had very little water pressure. Not a good experience taking showers. The four bed dorm was really tight, with very little space for each person.
Pros: Really good breakfast! Hostel has a good vibe and the owner is very accommodating . Wifi is good rooms are comfy ,. Sufficient plugs for each person and hot water in the shower was a welcome change to most hostels
Pros: Stayed here only for 2 nights and found the place Well located in the city centre. Very welcoming and helpful staff especially Lauro who is A very lovely and pleasant person. Good place for solo travellers.
Cons: Small rooms - not much space.
Pros: The bed was comfortable but the ac is always set on 23 which felt like -10 in our dorm (everyone in the dorm felt the same way...) breakfast is included and (except bread for the bread) everything was ok. The shared toilets and bathroom were always clean and there even was hot water!! The staff was nice as well especially fernanda (or was it francisca??i dont really remember her name anymore, sorry!) Close to a mall and big supermarket and plenty of restaurants in the streets nearby.
Cons: Bread from the breakfast was dry and tasted old. Thats why i skipped breakfast the following day. You have to have your fingerprint copied in order to create a 'key' (your fingerprint) to open the frontgate.
Pros: Staff is amazing! Breakfast was really good. Beds were comfy.
Cons: The bedrooms are too small, and the locker is not convenient (drawers)

Pros: Breakfast was good
Cons: The telephone in the room didnt work. The wifi connection was very bad. They did nothing about neither of those things.
Pros: promptness of the staff
Cons: the hotel has an old ( and soiled) ward ( first three floors) that was never mentioned when you book a room. Try to avoid book rooms in this ward. The rest of the roooms in the 15 floors were fine.

Pros: I had an amazing stay at the Hostel, the owners are charming and incredibly welcoming... thank you so much! The hostel has everything around, and it’s easy to visit the historical center from there.
Pros: Amazing owners, super nice and very helpful. Offered lunch to me one day which was very welcoming and also helped me a lot with my next steps.
Pros: Good WiFi, loved the downstairs chill area with Netflix and garden. Each bed had a plug socket.
Cons: Not many bathrooms, 3 tier bunk beds. They turned the whole downstairs of the hostel into a club - they didn’t even save an area just for the guests like they do in other hostels. And it was super loud, if you wanted to sleep it would be impossible.
Pros: Laundry Bed Staff Location
Cons: Sometimes you need to wait until someone open the door. Breakfast
Cons: The bathrooms were not clean There's no hot water The breakfast is too light
Pros: Good location, clean, superb staff and beautiful design. The hostel has little details that were well-thought of such as art structures, graffiti and a home-office corner.
Cons: Breakfast towards the end is not filled up. There was no juice or coffee left.
Pros: Plug direct at the bed
Cons: 10people in a 9bed share dorm(1matress on the floor) Only two bathrooms for thirty people Untrustworthy receptionists Long distances to the beaches( receptionist told me its just an hour away. Took me 3hours by bus/ 2hours by uber) No information about tours, or things to see Hamocks were allways taken by the staff
Pros: Netflix available Great location to visit the center
Cons: Cold water Bathrooms were not clean Breakfast too simple

Pros: Fabulous breakfast with variety and quality. Staff always friendly and very helpful, every single time, I did ask quite a few... We had a problem with an electric fuse, sorted in 15 minutes with efficiency, politeness and no fussy. Few times I requested help, maintenance, phone call, local information, restaurant, always dealt with politely, helpfully and in a warm friendly manner. I can't faulty. Fantastic 3 days stay. Recommended and will return again when visiting Belém in the future.
Pros: Location was nice

Pros: I can't remember the guy name at the reception, but he is very helpful and kind. We had a great stay at this property and it is just located in the center of Belem, close to all the main tourist attractions. The rooms are big and very clean. The shower is good and everyday we had new towels. Very good for the price.
Pros: The garden, the location, the Keys, the price!
Cons: The neighborhood is run down, there could be a blanket for the bed, it gets cold with the air on, the a/c temp control should be checked, at 26 degrees it cools way below that.
Pros: Clean and comfortable room, the staff was very kind and friendly, the garden and terras where you can relax, chill and enjoy a little bit of nature. The service is great. I would recommend this pousada to anyone who is planning a vacay in belem!

With a stay at Hotel Portas da Amazônia, you'll be centrally located in Belem, steps from Se Cathedral and within a 5-minute drive of Nossa Senhora da Paz Theater. A roundtrip airport shuttle is provided for a surcharge (available on request).
Pros: Breakfast is great, antique style reception, halls, rooms, French motif, Le Bistrot restaurant on ground floor, and the location is excellent, right across the street from the Catedral, good restaurant next door.
Cons: Door and window locks are a little flimsy, no breakfast if you leave at four am. Getting TV and a/c going. Toilet top was broken when we arrived, it was promptly replaced.
Pros: Perfect position and good breakfast
Cons: The hotel is unde restoration and the rooms are dirty. Noone of the pictures shos the actual status of the hotel
Pros: The great location, the spacious room and bathroom, and the beautiful breakfast.
Pros: Rooms were cute and well decorated. Very spacious. Breakfast was delicious, lots of fresh fruit and eggs to order. The staff was super nice.
Pros: Breakfast is amazing, lots of options (juices, cakes) and they prepare extras, eggs and tapioca, as requested! Apartment is big enough, tidy, perfectly cleaned, with a comfortable bed. Staff is very helpful, honest and organized. It was easy to reach any place in the city from there.
Cons: None! Obs: there is a church nearby, ringing the bell from time to time, but not disturbing.
Pros: A hotel with real character located adjacent to Catedral do Se. The room was compact, but comfortable. The tap at the sink only had cold water, however, the shower had hot water. Cereals, fruit, Brazilian specialities and eggs to order were available at breakfast. Staff were excellent, firstly in permitting a free late checkout, but also spending time to assist finding a suitable restaurant to dine in and then hailing a taxi on my behalf.
Cons: The downstairs restaurant had a singer on my first night (a Friday) who was rather loud, but she finished at 11pm.
Pros: We liked the hotel very much. We had made a mistake and arrived only the next day in the morning. But they let us stay in the wonderful room till afternoon and we had a perfect breakfast. Especially we want to thank Celestino Neto at the Recepção. A wonderful person. He helped us so much and we have had a great conversation with him! Good luck for you and the whole team of Hotel Della Luna, a place of a lot of Boa Energia! Mario and Michele
Located in Belem (Nazare), Hotel Manacá is within a 15-minute walk of Basilica of Our Lady of Nazareth and Nossa Senhora da Paz Theater. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, a 24-hour front desk, and luggage storage.
Pros: The hotel is a small oasis in the center of the city. Too much quiet and nice! The pool is great :-)
Cons: The breakfast is poor! Don’t have too much meals for choose!!!!
Pros: I like the location and the rooms were very clean. The hotel is close to downtown and in a good neighborhood. Breakfast was also very good.
Cons: The personnel only speaks Portuguese so if you can’t talk the language you can not get any info from the staff. Also at night the kitchen is closed and if you stay in there is no hot water available to make coffee or tea. We did advise this in the end of our stay
