Friendliness and responsiveness of staff.
It seemed that my cleanup service was a bit rushed because there was a little trash on my floor when I returned to the room.

Location is very good: quiet area away from the center, yet close via the metro, and in the vicinity of Parc Guell. You are in real Barcelona, not in the tourist-filled Rambla area.
Breakfast is too expensive for what it offers. Noisy. Air conditioning was totally ineffective in our room, despite informing the staff. Bed too hard: back aches followed.

The welcoming professional staff when we arrived.
The dark & durty room. One lampe was not change. The noise of the staff at the cafeteria at 12pm & at 6am. The staff of the cafeteria is not welcoming and always in a hurry for us to leave. Once, a member wanted to clean our table whereas we had not finish !!! And they reduce the space of the cafeteria too, the place was crowded but it was easier for them to clean it !!! We had not enough towels once and not enough brush glasses throughout our stay. The mastresses are too old. I had a backache for 2 days !!!

Good location close to Parc Guell.
I booked the duplex room cause I was travelling with a friendly couple, so we thought to save some money and share the same room which was on two floors with and internal ladder. big mistake! The couple that slept on the room on the first floor had no complains. I had to sleep on the single bed on ground floor. The matress was too thick like sleeping on a bench, I was next to the parking lot from one side of the room and next to the road from the other side. No heating on ground floor, too noisy, not even one hanger for my clothes, plus the wall was full of moisture, jacuzzi was also not working but this is the less. I freezed during the night, woke up with a runny nose. I filed a complaint form asking for refund of my money.
