Pros: We absolutely loved this resort! From the minute our longboat pulled up, the service was amazing. All of the staff were really accommodating and friendly. We really enjoyed the spa where we did a couple massage in a private bungalow. The oceans views were wonderful. We had lunch at the restaurant in the main lobby area and enjoyed it both times. The hut style hotel room was spacious and clean. We were overall very impressed!
Cons: The boat ride to get to the resort was 200 baht per person. We felt that this should have been included since the only way to get there is by boat. We loved the village in back of the resort but this would not be a place to stay if someone wanted access to the bars/restaurants at Tonsai Bay at night. There is a longboat that goes there twice a day though (10am and 3pm).
Pros: Everything in this hotel was perfect!!!! From the location to the hotel staff service
Pros: This place is good if you want to get away from everything, in a remote part of the island where you can do whatever you want, on their resort of course. There is little of anything outside of their resort unless you want to take a water taxi 30 minutes away.
Cons: When we made the booking, we wanted a nice place in a quiet area with a nice pool and on the beach. We have a 6 year old daughter and we made the reservation with 2 adults and 1 child. When we got there at check in, we were forced to pay a "child fee". Nowhere on the Web site was there any mention of the child fee, and they cited "hotel policy". If I had known this up front I would have considered this as the total cost of the hotel.
Also, if you want to go into town, there are only 2 options. 1) walk about 2 hours through the woods. Or 2) pay for a private water taxi to get you there.
If you have a problem with mosquitos this place is not for you. It's full of mosquitos, but bug spray is available in the minibar and a fogger is available for free to kill them in your room.

The outdoor pool is a great spot to take a dip, and guests can grab a bite to eat at Sawasdee Restaurant, which serves Thai cuisine and is open for lunch and dinner. This could be a great hotel, rooms are beautiful as pictured. They do not show the bug problem as well as the dirty barely functioning bathroom. The water in the bathroom is sea water, and the low pressure and bad heater made it impossible to take a shower. The water is so bad it left our hair sticky and smelling bad. Bugs are a problem, they removed the bug nets and offered to sell you bug spray instead. The welcome card is replaced by a chart showing how much you'll be charged if you damage anything. If your not in great shape you will have a problem, we had to hike 30 minutes from another beach because the boat taxis could not land on the beach of the hotel, that meant carrying our luggage over a long muddy hill and around a bug infested trail with our luggage. The staff were rude and unhelpful. The restaurant at the hotel is very unsanitary. Stray cats and bugs wander freely through the kitchen and the staff couldn't be any unhappier at working here. Staff made leaving difficult, they purposely delayed us from leaving the hotel despite our tight schedule to catch the ferry. This hotel is truly a 'never judge a book by its cover' scenario.
Pros: Nice looking room on a nice private beach.
Cons: Rude staff, no water pressure, water is sea water. No boat taxi service to this beach so you get dropped off a beach away and have to carry your luggage for 30 mins. Mosquito nets advertised but not provided. Unclean restaurant full of cats and bugs.

Cons: You have to take a long boat (150 baht) to get to anywhere on the island that is not the hotel. They only have them running three times per day and if you take a long boat taxi from the pier in town it is 1000-1200 baht! SO EXPENSIVE to leave.

Pros: The view from our hut was amazing. It rained the whole time during our stay, which sucked, but it was still a beautiful location.
Cons: You can't flush toilet paper, because of the plumbing. Their customer service is questionable - their network was down during our check-out and we still had expenses to pay. Since their network was down, our credit card could not be run, so they said we need to go the port, take money out of the ATM and pay them that way. We would've been charged a 5% fee for withdrawals, if not more so I told them that and that I refuse to pay that way. The front desk lady said they get charged 3% for processing credit cards, which isn't and should never be the guests problem. I suggested she take my credit card number and keep it for later until power was restored, but I think she did not understand me or didn't trust that I wouldn't cancel the card or something. Regardless, we negotiated the exchange rate with them so we could pay cash (they wanted to exchange $1USD = 31 Baht, but we got them to do $1USD = 34 Baht) We traveled to other locations in Thailand and the customer service was lacking pretty much everywhere.

Pros: Nice rooms, spacious, comfortable beds, staff was friendly and met us at the pier to show us the way. Liked the room for the money. Close to good food and the party area of you wish.
Cons: neighbors can be loud so bring ear plugs, wifi sucked but what are you doing on wifi?! Beach is kind of weird to get to but it's very close. No pool but again, you have the beach.
