Pros: We had a warm greeting and were immediately provided delicious fresh cookies and coffee. We only stayed one night and we were out for most of it for a wedding reception. We regret missing breakfast (sorry!).
10.0 Excellent
Cons: Best bed and breakfast I've ever been too. Beautiful, charming, gracious hostess.just awesome
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Comfortable room and comfortable bed. The breakfast was excellent...my wife really enjoyed the omelet with veggies...which were plentiful. The hostess was very charming.
Cons: Nothing to not like.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This is our 4th time staying here....Allyson's place is better then any hotel can ever be. It's quiet, clean and she is a "super-host" I recommend anyone staying in the area to book The Maid's quarters
Cons: Everything was excellent. There is NOTHING WE DID NOT LIKE.

Pros: Comfy and cozy Victorian Inn. A wonderful hostess and incredibly delicious breakfast!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Comfortable and quiet. Felt very welcome and was even accommodated for an early breakfast
Cons: Nothing
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Very pleasent host. But bath room was very narrow. We stayed at a queen bed room which was next to a busy road. Loud AC noise muffled the road noise but we could still hear it. Since I needed to work the next day, I was quite annoyed by that. Comfortable bed. Nothing much around there to walk around. The car parking was across the road. Good to have a parking spot but not very convenient to carry your luggage. Breakfast was made to order. It would have been nice if you are just vacationing but hard for me to wait around for the food. Cooking was just ok.
Cons: Very narrow bathroom and shower.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Extra large room. Nice authentic feel. Lots of thoughtful details (locally made soap, candy here and there...) Allyson was extremely welcoming.
Cons: The bed was too soft for us, but that’s really a personal preference.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: A wonderful breakfast by a wonderful hostess and owner. Location is in an old coal mining town that has seen better days but is trying hard at revitalization. Good restaurants within walking distance of B&B.
Cons: Everything was great.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean quiet and superb host
Cons: Nothing
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The hostess was very welcoming and helpful with information about the town (eating, grocery shopping. brewery). Breakfast was nice . Cooked to order omelet and fresh fruit. My son enjoyed his croissant French Toast.
Cons: Steep stairs up to the maid's suite. Would be OK for able bodied person. I use a cane, so it was challenging. We booked late and this was the only room available. Still a very enjoyable stay.

Pros: The room
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We like the room alot. The overall stay was really nice and we enjoyed the bonfire and the complimentary breakfast as well. I wish the pool was opened a little while longer that 11 pm because we like to swim late.
Cons: nothing.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The rooms are big and very comfortable. Access to our family events was easy and quick with on/ off freeway exits nearby. Very quiet and enjoyable.
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: The front desk Jesica, tried to do everything to make our stay better.
Cons: The rooms didn't look like the website and people were renting out to live there. The tub was clogged, found a roach in the room, the refrigerator was on the floor and looked dirty, had to move rooms twice, had problems getting into our room because the key card didn't work, hallways were dirty, breakfast was cereal only, the night front desk lady was very rude. For what we paid and had to deal with the week we stayed we should have gotten reimbursed.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: It was a new building so it’s designed very sleek modern, very clean.
Cons: The check in was available as soon as I arrived but was still able to check in before the actual check in time quoted.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was great especially the staff
Cons: Nothinh but shower door wouldn't stay close thats all
8.3 Excellent
Pros: I liked how the rooms included the kitchens and had lights in every area literally.
Cons: I didn’t like how rude the manager was about the payment or how he took one card off and used another not knowing my financial state nor asking me first. BRADLEY WAS AWESOME!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: I liked the king studio because it was spacious. The room was bright and clean. The kitchen was nicely stocked and that was a pleasant surprise. If staying longer that would have been an even bigger deal. My husband loved the hair conditioner!!
Cons: More choices for breakfast would have been great. Like a sausage or other meat, yogurt. The fresh fruit bowl was often empty and hot water for tea was not available 2 mornings.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic room arrangements. Great competitive pricing. Nice and quiet.
Cons: Not convenient to expected restaurant chains. Too new of an area of construction. Will probably build out later.
8.0 Excellent

9.4 Excellent
Pros: Room was clean and comfortable, will recommend it to anyone wanted to stay for one day or for a few days. Includes kitchen and living room area in the suite. Breakfast is included, which is good selection. Staff were nice and helpful.
Cons: When we first got into the room, the TV wasn't working however, we were able to have someone fix it right away.

Pros: This is a very nice place to stay. The front desk girls were personable and welcoming. The one lady's name was the same as mine. She giggled and said she was waiting for me to arrive. What an ice breaker! We spoke briefly as to the pronunciation. Both ladies spoke of the eateries in town, small town at that and who had what and what was really good. Now that's what I like! I just didn't want to get back in my auto. When I checked out in the morning, the staff had changed but, the new ladies were just as wonderful! They even signed me up for the Choices Rewards....that's because I'm going to stay there again! Thank You Girls, All of YOU!
Cons: Hummm, I can't think of anything.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very clean
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Convenient
Cons: Housekeeping should pay particular attention to cleaning areas that collect dust or build up water deposits in the shower head. Also, staff aren''t always present at the desk and when they are needed, they seemed to be annoyed.
7.0 Good
Pros: It was located right off of the highway and close to people we were visiting. The breakfast was good and hearty. It was close to both the Cracker Barrel (walked there for dinner) and to McDonalds (drove but could walk).

Pros: The location was perfect. Most of the staff were kind help. Most of the staff gone out of their way to help. It was nice and quite. A lot of restaurants around to go to eat. A few would deliver.
Cons: The price could be cheaper. More to do. Like a pool sauna. A few of the staff could be more pleasant. They know who they are. Like I said the prices could be lower for Schuylkill county.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The bed was the best bed I have ever slept on. The room was very nice and clean. Kitchen was nice loved the set up of our room. Would stay there again! Staff was amazing and helpful.

7.0 Good
Pros: It was very clean and newly refurbished.
Cons: We booked 2 rooms. One of our rooms the floor boards had slipped leaving gapes that hurt your feet and caused the flooring to protruded into the hallway, Also both rooms had 2 beds in each room but only one comforter per room, which made for a chili night. Also no alarm clock in room.
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: When I checked out
Cons: Smelled like an ashtray dirty room shower kept running
4.5 Okay
Pros: The wood floor and the size of the two queen beds.
Cons: The AC had a very bad smell and the room smelled like it was a smokers room instead of a non-smokers room. My bed had stains on the bed spread and on the sheet and I found a long hair on the sheet. I also did not like hearing a dog barking next door. There was also a good amount of dirt along the wall behind the head of the bed.
5.0 Okay
Cons: Beds had no comforters. It was just a bare room. Matress had no support. Hall smel like pets.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The Staff (Liz and Jay) were great and they were very helpful with everything that we needed. Better quality than some of the bigger hotels in the area, I go three times a year and will always book there.

9.0 Excellent
Pros: The young man at the front desk was very polite and helpful, I had to call and clear up the address which came up on my phone different than the website. Very pleasant experience with him. Pretty part of the country, and reasonably priced.
Cons: The room was not cleaned well - dried bugs in the tub, a crumpled up Kleenex on the floor near the bed. Rust came out of the faucet when I turned it on, but then cleared. I like Motel 6, but sometimes I run into rooms that aren't cleaned well.

6.3 Good
Pros: staff was nice.
Cons: the Grout in the bathroom floor was BLACK and someones 7-11 slurpie cup was left in the room. Breakfast was bad. the coffee must have been made using the local water and had a terrible taste. i literally puked after drinking it. the locals may be used to it but i suggest using "spring water" when you make coffee. food selection was poor
9.5 Excellent
Cons: I was charged twice for iur stay
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Location - was close proximity to gas stations and food. Room was comfortable.
Cons: Room was smaller than visually pictured on line. Breakfast was not to our liking; no hot selections. Ate elsewhere after checking out.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were all very friendly, accommodating, and helpful.
Cons: It needs updating, particularly in the bathrooms. I think the staff do their best to clean and maintain things, but there has been definite water leakage and there's a lot of excessive caulking and some mold.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: bike friendly!
Cons: breakfast was a little sad. but plenty of hot coffee from 5am untill we left.
4.3 Okay
Pros: The bed was nice?
Cons: Not only did they charge a $250 deposit due to my boyfriend paying cash on top of the $160.95 (all paid in cash), they accused him of smoking in the room and KEPT the deposit, he doesn’t even smoke, AND THEY CHARGED MY DEBIT CARD $160.95! I am livid for multiple reasons the big ones being the room was used for less than 18 hrs ($160.95 paid in cash) and I paid for 48 hours (the cash plus the fraudulent charge on my debit card!) plus they kept the deposit!!! This is absolutely unacceptable and I will make sure to leave this review on every review outlet if this is not fixed ASAP. The WiFi sucked, the elevators are slow, the front desk staff was unpleasant and our AC didn’t work well at all!!! I am extremely heat sensitive after a recent heatstroke which was the reason for our stay, as we were outdoors all day and I was fading fast and it wasn’t worth it at all!!! I would rather risk another heat related incident than deal with this hotel ever again!!!
6.3 Good
Pros: A/C in room workied
Cons: Lobby and hallways very hot. Room are old and dated.
7.0 Good
Pros: Room size
Cons: No AC in the common areas
4.3 Okay
Pros: Leaving
Cons: You have to park all the way across the street and lug your belongings from there. Hotel is dated and not overly clean. Walls and ceilings are thin you could hear everything. It isn't in a great area either someone wiggled the door handle like they were trying to come in and was pushing on the door to access other room, the desk clerk said no one was staying in that room. Lots of street noise. This is not worth $150 a night maybe when it was updated in the 90s but not now. Stay at the holiday in Express only 15 minutes away from this place.
4.5 Okay
Pros: No the eggs were dry and the bed was not clean and there was dirty underwear left in the room when we got there.
Cons: Everything. The walk to the
9.3 Excellent
Pros: To be honest, traveling on vacation we weren't impressed with this downtown location and hard to spot entryway, which had no signage from the street. BUT the staff was wonderful and more than made up for the booking glitch that we learned about when we found our way inside. Apparently our room was already taken, so they gave us a better room for the same price. Ended well. ;-)

Pros: Staff was present and breakfast was satisfying
Cons: Weird smell upon entry
6.0 Good
Pros: Price and location.
Cons: Really old, run down and musty smelling. Furniture mismatched and scratched up. Needs total overhaul. Got in very late and left fairly early. Ok for a nap, but wouldn't return.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was a great value. I felt safe and cleanliness exceeded my expectations. To anyone that usually stays at higher end hotels, this will not meet your furniture brand & amenity expectations, but will meet your cleanliness and sleeping needs.
1.0 Poor

7.0 Good
Pros: I was really exhausted and I needed a place to shower and sleep, and it met my needs.
2.5 Mediocre
Cons: Breakfast is free and its from 6-10AM. We went for breakfast at 9 am and all they served was old dry cereals which is fruit loops, cheerios, and cornflakes with coffee. The bathroom has a light timer that went off when you take a shower. The telephone has no dial tone. If you need something you need to take a trip in the office. The bathroom ceiling needs repair.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location and staff.
5.5 Okay
Pros: Right off the highway
Cons: They didn’t open for coffee until after 730. Terrible management
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: This room was old, dirty and in serious need of renovations. The towels and washcloths looked like they were never laundered nor did the bed linens. Toilet seat was stained and chipped, tub had particles of something in it. Nightstand was old, dirty looking and scraped up and should be replaced as well as the beds. I can't believe a big corporation like Econolodge would allow their name on this skeevy place. Don't they do inspections on these hotels that bear their name? The price was $55 but clearly I wished I had stayed at candlewood suites where I normally stay. Cheap or not, ill never stay at that Econolodge dump again!!
Cons: Everything
3.8 Mediocre

1.0 Poor

9.5 Excellent
Pros: I liked that the room was very clean and neat, the breakfast was good, the staff was very friendly.
Cons: Disliked the huge amount of pot holes in the parking lot and disliked how none of the TV channels would come in all were scribbly
5.8 Okay
Pros: It is very conveniently located next to the highway. It was clean
Cons: This is an older establishment that requires a lot of TLC. The room smelled humid or musty. The matress was well used and not firm at all, the bathroom fan when turned on pulled in an awful cigarette smell, the AC was clanky and very noisy. The breakfast... well, skip it...
5.8 Okay
Pros: location and availability. staff friendly.
Cons: It was old and outdated and had a musty smell. Although somewhat clean there were stains in the tub and the carpet very old looking. The fire detector was not hanging on the wall. Just laid casually on top of the TV stand.

Pros: Bed was very comfortable! Breakfast was skimpy.
Cons: Carpet felt wet and sticky. Very outdated furnishings and bathroom fixtures.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The king size bed in my room was among the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in in a hotel. Everything was neat and clean, but somewhat shabby. But the towels were plentiful and good quality, and there was soaps and shampoo. However, the hair dryer didn’t work well.
Cons: The place lists it includes breakfast—-barely anything to eat—just coffee/tea/juice and bread or packaged waffles. No fruit, no yogurt, no pasties, no nothing else!!! That is NOT breakfast.
3.5 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing
Cons: There was no phone service at all no breakfast as its says and the wifi service is bad
Overview Reviews
When you stay at Granny's Motel Frackville in Frackville, you'll be 11 minutes by car from Mountain Valley Golf Course. Free self parking is available onsite.
7.5 Good
Pros: The location is very convenient, close to the on/off exit ramps on interstate 81. There is shopping and food with in 5-7miles. It was very kid friendly, my daughter was able to ride her bike and play ball on the premises. Free WiFi was easy access. They are accommodating when asked for extras like towels and linens, which I have always needed. Aside from the small things, the bigger picture is; it's a great deal for your dollar.
Cons: The motel room really needed to be more stocked with towels and the little extras like plastic cups, complimentary soap and hygiene products. It offers very little to travelers that aren't fully packed up with absolutely everything to make it worth an overnight stay while on the road. It would be hard to say you felt refreshed after your stay. Very small television. They need to pay attention to more details about the room, old tubs and countertops with old cigarette burns, surly from when smoking was legal in public places in PA, which was not to many years ago. But a huge turn off.
7.5 Good
Pros: The bed was very comfortable and the place is well worth the price.
Cons: Pot holes all over the entrance. Not enough power strips. Small TV. Very cheap toilet paper.
4.3 Okay
Pros: Cold AC. Close to town
Cons: Beds were hard. Room wreaked of cigarettes. Other guests were loud all night. The people running the place were unfriendly.
5.0 Okay
Pros: A little outdated,but adequate.
Cons: Its a little creepy.
3.0 Mediocre
Pros: Good tv and cable

Pros: Did not stay i canceled when we got there to check in went to room it was dirty and smelly and moldy
5.5 Okay
Pros: The bed was clean and comfortable. The shower was not. That's good. Staff was very nice.
Cons: The rug looked as though crude oil has been poured a over it. I refused to walk barefoot. The shower had ingrained dirt through the bottom. Wouldn't dare take a bath...just shower. No towels. For that matter the towel holder was broken off. This joint needs a facelift badly
8.0 Excellent
