Early check-in: We arrived at the hotel around 9:30 a.m., within 15 minutes we were provided a room. Nice and friendly staff: Advised for recommended day trips and places to go for shopping and nightlife.
Breakfast should be included in the room price.
All the staff we encountered were unfailingly courteous, cheerful, attentive and helpful. They were a credit to the hotel and one of it's best assets. we also like the reception area, with comfotable chairs, tasteful pictures and a piano player, although it would be good to have this every evening.
The absence of a good selection of restaurants was a drawback for a hotel of this grade. also, the position was not as good as reviews I had read suggested.
Large room , soft & large bed , good shower , friendly frontoffice ,
No response on problem with bathtub drainage , smell of carpets as you enter room
I checked out and left stuff in the room, and the hotel saved them for me which was really nice of them. But can't say I liked anything else to be honest. I expected much more considering this is where many business conferences take place in beirut.
I didn't like many things. 1. Bed was not clean. 2. I had a business meeting and there were no taxi cabs in front of the hotel, and there was a conference there so the bell hops/concierge were too busy with other guests, and couldnt get me a taxi...I Had to walk down the street and hail a taxi on my own, was late for my meeting. 3. and the worst thing was, the room they gave me, my outside view was a building being constructed next to the Bristol, where the construction loud noises started at 5:30 in the morning and so I couldnt sleep. This of course is not the fault of the hotel, but I did check out after the first night even though I booked to stay there 8 nights because I didnt want to worry about not getting a full nights sleep.
comfortable bed
privacy is good. hotel is clean. staff are so good as well.
i was booking a diplomatic suite but it was much like a Junior Suite not a diplomatic one. somehow, i feel the money value of the suite was not that much.
location
