Great room for the price
This was a non-smoking room, but at one time you could tell this was a smoking room. Left the window open during the whole visit and that seemed to help tremendously.
Too many sweets for breakfast.
Toilet overflowed in first room, tub didn't drain in second. Breakfast area was not stocked. Rooms were not clean. Left after offer of third room out of sheer disgust. Many broken fixtures.
Everything. The awful smell, the stains on the pillows, sheets, and chairs, the bag of clumps that they try to pass of as a pillow, the inattentive unhelpful staff, and the trashy area where it resides.
Tiolet back up in room not worth what i pay for one nite
The room was filthy (food in corners from previous tenants) after talking to the staff the room was still not cleaned. Linens were torn, beds collapsed, bathroom was filthy from previous tenants. Can't believe Super 8 would allow this as a corporation.
The room was clean and comfortable enough. Staff was professional enough.
It's an older place and has some permanent residents and caters to workmen and a rougher trade. I would not ever stay there again. That part of the town of Belen is kind of worn down looking also. The rear of the motel has barbed wire fence and swamps.
The desk clerk was incredibly rude when I arrived after 1am needing a room in an emergency situation. She said I booked for the wrong day and there was nothing she could do to help me, then wanted to charge me more for a room than what I paid online.
There were bed bugs in my blanket and pillow. It was horrible. Never stay again
Parking issue; little pride of ownership....toilet seat broken, lousy wall paint, and evidence of wall damage in room. Noisey in that you could hear and feel a room door shut from several rooms away.
Staff felt it was necessary to scold us for bidding on priceline rather than simply paying full price, but then worked the apparent magic to grant us a two bed room. Breakfast not too bad.
Room and halls smelled horrible, stale cig smoke and mold.
