Everything was great
From the very first moment we were greeted by Doris and made to feel so welcome, until we checked out again, the staff was very professional and cordial and helpful at every turn.
That we hadn’t booked MORE days ! We’ll be back!
Amazing property that gives you a truly memorable experience of the rainforest. Staff is so friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend doing the Ceremonial Cave Tour.
Would have been nice to have WiFi in the room but was nice to be "forced" to disconnect.
Beautifully maintained property away from the hustle and bustle of the “big” city.
The only food available is the resort restaurant which is passably good. If you are looking for gourmet, high end fare, this is not it but the prices reflect that so it works. Think O’Charley’s not Ruth Chris
I loved the concept of tranquility. It was great to unwind and just take nature in with my wife for her birthday. The rooms are beautiful and I loved the hammock outside on the porch and secluded bath even though I wished we had more towels. I wish we had a guide to see the bridges but we found it. the signs are good enough to follow. the staff is very kind and apologized for our massage appointment being delayed almost an hour but the massage was very good. The scenery is breath taking and the décor is gorgeous.
I wish that the outside tub was a hot tub or jetted but it was nice. I also wish we had a double hammock or two hammocks outside so we both could enjoy the hammock at the same time and that the porch was screened. I didn't like that I couldn't get a cinnamon roll when I asked. I was told it is served on the weekends but Sunday was a part of the weekend. That was disappointing because we were told you had the best. We cant judge now. The food on a whole wasn't too good but my wife loved the stuffed pork balls and when my dinner was blundered, your staff accommodated us well. Also, the first night there, there was a group partying which seemed right next to us where the tranquility was obliterated until about 10-11pm. The steps leading to our cottage became slippery when it rained and over the little bridge to the restaurant. Can be dangerous as I found when I tripped a little.
