Very clean and good hotel, great breakfast.
Great hotel. Friendly staff and very good breakfast.
Nice, clean and spacy room. Excellent bed - slept very well. Very fine breakfast buffet. Kind and helpful staff. Fine parking place. Located in quiet area close to the city centre og Bergen auf Rügen. This is the hotel, I prefer, when staying on Rügen, and I surely can recommend it.
Great hotel with helpfull staff centrally located on the island of Rügen. A good starting point to discover the island. Free parking and close to everything. For example Prora and Binz is only a 20 min drive away. Some of the staff had limited skills in English.
Very good and clean hotel. Excellent (free) internet connection and good breakfast.
As usual I had an excellent stay in this hotel. Good beds, clean rooms and an excellent breakfast.
not a lot. Reception was almost hostile. We cut short our stay and departed after one night.
The staff were very welcoming, helpful and obliging. The room was ready for occupation earlier than expected and was very comfortable overlooking the courtyard. No complaints for this hotel
Located in the middle of Bergen auf Rugen. The Hotel staffs are very nice. We were upgraded into a very big and nice room. The breakfast are plenty with qualities!! Free parking. It's good to stay overnight here as a hub and rent a car to see all things around Rugen Island. I really recommend this hotel. The Sauna is free but too small (4 people at a time) and must be reserved. No free wireless internet.
The location was very central for turing the island. Food and service were good. Room was smaller than expected.
I enjoyed relaxing in the beer garden with a Pils and my pipe. Thanks again for letting me use the office computer to check my emails.
The pools were relaxing, excellent staff, wonderful meals
Breakfast was fabulous. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location was great - I did a lot of hiking while I was there. The pool was also enjoyable and clean. The hotel was warm. It didn´t matter that I left the windows open.
Comfortable quiet location of appartment buildings. Very well organized hotel and friendly professional staff. Resort is located on Jasmund which has nicest landscape of Ruegen. Breakfast buffet open till 12:00. Roomy appartments. Most appartments buildings are quite far from hotel building, depending on weather one needs car to get there. Daily cleaning is not part of appartment booking and has to be booked separately.
New-looking urbanization. Nice area close to the coast, great for relaxing, taking long walks, cycling in nature and combine it with the thermae (sauna, pool, hammam). I enjoyed most the thermae which is free for hotel guests, they have a great sauna 'intensive experience' mode, really for sauna lovers. Dinning is good, you can choose between a regular buffet (for regular budgets) or a more classy restaurant. There is a small town close by with a couple of super markets, nothing much for the rest. Absolutely all the information in the hotel is in German (also emergency info). The personnel speaks poor English and nobody speaks English in the Thermae (just across the hotel). Also, it is quite far from other services e.g. a pharmacy, a bank (we had to drive 20kms to find one). It is not at all targeted for international visitors. You can't get there easily, no public transport (in or out).
great breakfast buffet, access to spa included in hotel price uncomfortable pillows, camp with loud music at night on a field next to the hotel
The location is great set in the forest full of bird song I missed my wifi connection internet connection would be a big plus
The location is great: a nice stroll to the town centre, yet quiet and in the nature. The hotel features a nice retaurant and it offers a good breakfast. The room was spacious and well equipped (for a 3***, that is): TV, telephone were there, but no minibar and no A/C. The staff was extremely friendly and professional. The parking space in front of the restaurant is limited, but there is a spacious free parking space at 50m from the hotel. I think it has been renovated since its profile has been posted on booking.com, because the pictures on the description look really dated, it is much better in reality!
Quiet and lovely location, very good to travel to different parts of Ruegen. Friendly staff. Good breakfast.
good service, very clean rooms, the restaurant is o.k, especially the fish soup.
Nice Hotel, clean and comfortable, rooms are quit small but okay. Personell is very friendly. Beautifull and quite area.
Nice location, very quiet surroundings, friendly staff, good kitchen Very limited car-parking space at hotel
This is a nice hotel situated quite close to the Sassnitz port. The rooms were nice, though the TV was ancient and tiny. The breakfast was quite good. The indoor pool was very nice, although families with children tend to receive dour stares from the older hotel guests. It was a bit pricey, though this is more a function of the area than the hotel specifically.
Nott so hard to find parking places as other visitors has written. Ask at reception and the will give you permission to park at a big parking spot at the nearby neighbour hotel
Hotel staff was willing to help.
Distance to ferry. Viue over ahrbour
Vi har fått et fint rom, med stor plas til familien vår. Frokost var veldig god med stort utvalg av mat og veldig hyggelig og hjelpsomt personel, altid til stedet. Nei
The rooms were small yet cozy. The location was perfect. We were able to walk to the sea. The breakfast buffet was great. The view from the breakfast room was breath taking.
the loacation, the swimming pool
good as is should be for the price. No buzz, no surprises
Our room had a balcony with a great view on the Baltic Sea. The indoor pool was great. The restaurant had a godd menu including local fish specialties. Breakfast was very good, great selection of bread, cold cuts, cheese. Breakfast was served on the top floor of the hotel with a pectacular view of the sea front.
Beautiful surroundings as well as beautiful hotel. Restaurant was excellent, breakfast buffet most enjoyable, and staff always friendly and helpful. Location a bit out of the way from the busiest touristy beach destination suited us perfectly, since we're not big fans of crowds. We did miss a kettle and cups to make ourselves that first cuppa of the day in the room.
We loved this hotel, so much that we extended our stay for a couple more nights. The food was excellent - loved their breakfast and had dinner there almost everynight. Beautiful location and the staff were great. The rooms were very spacious - had 2 cribs in our room and still have plenty of room to walk around. While we loved staying there, there were a few minor things that could improve. The pillows were ackward (big square), thus uncomfortable. The restaurant staff were very friendly, but can be a bit slow. Bring mosquito repellents in the summer. The rooms can get really warm with no a/c. Leaving the windows open usually solves the problem, but then the mosquitos run rampant. Internet is free, but very slow.
I loved the secluded location, the cleanliness of the room and the wonderful breakfast on the terrace with seaviews didn't have enough toiletries for a 4 star hotel
Fantastic value for money hotel, excellent facilities including swimming pool. Great place to stay!! The reviews didn't reflect the quality of this hotel.
Beautiful, peaceful setting and very nice staff. No English displayed at all on menus or signs. I understand that I was in Germany, so fair enough, but it so happens that my German is terrible! Staff were very helpful, though.
This hotel is a wonderful place to relax. Great location, very nice staff and good food.
Breakfast was ok even if we have some doubts how fresh were the fruits... My wife got sick after our stay but it is always hard to be sure what the reason is... This hotel has nothing to do with a 4 star hotel. At best, it could be rated as a 3 star but fairly a 2 star woulld fit the best. For instance, we got no bath in the room... In addition, the location is not the best for visiting since it is quite isolated from the touristic part. Our recommendation would be to look for a 3 star hotel at Binz if no 4 star hotel is available.
The atmosphere, the service, the restaurant, the staff, the swimming pool, the tranquility. The hotel ( and the island in general) is geared to German and Scandinavian visitors, but everyone at the hotel went out of their way to make our stay a pleasure. We wished we had stayed longer - despite the weather. No,
Nice area, friendly staff
The Park, pool small TV
decor, art, refinement of rooms, service and surroundings, very tasteful and relaxed, staff extremely friendly and efficient swimming pool a bit small, farther away from the sea, but o
Location only The ratings and description for this hostel are misleading. It's is not a hotel but a number of buildings put together as a shoddy bed and breakfast with nasty smelling budget rooms . It has no restaurant no bar and in the proud words of the owner " no stars"The breakfast is over priced and as merely hostel it should not charge hotel prices. Beware the budget rooms which the owner says proudly are buried under the terrace and very very small. The description says all rooms have double beds but this is untrue. Apparently the budget rooms are not big enough. The locals we spoke to were embarrassed by the poor reputation of the place . You may see three stars and think you are getting a deal . In fact it has no stars and you are paying way too much.
The hotel was really clean. It seemed newly rennovated. The reception closes at 7pm. The location is quite bad, down a back road away from the sea and you have to have a car to get to any local amenities.
the staff were wonderful
Quiet. Good breakfast. Off the main road but still close to ferry. Good location for walking and biking trips
Closeness to ferry connection and cities. Besides that the calm surroundings. We were a bit discouraged to hear that the pool was in Sassnitz. I understood on the site that it was. But in the end it was nice as we did have to go out to eat.
In spite of the Spartan outlook the hotel was very nicely renovated.
Friendly staff, on board bicycle rental, great value for money. Next door is an abandoned building from DDR times, but it did not really bother.
Very pleasant outlook. Easy walk to the seafront and to the nearby National Park. Good breakfast.
I enjoyed the cozy feeling of the hotel, the warm smiles of the people there and the fantastic sight of the Baltic Sea I had from the room. Nice everything!
Our room had an interesting layout and was very comfortable. We got to peek into another room and it also seemed to have an interesting, yet different-from-ours, layout. The hotel was central to everything we wanted to do: walking to the chalk cliffs, the ocean, and restaurants. The front desk seemed understaffed. When we arrived, no one was there and we needed to look for that person. She was very helpful once she was located.
Excellent breakfast, spacious rooms, nice restaurant. For dinner I recommend sitting near the restaurant / bar Brasserie.
I went with a group of five people. We all enjoyed staying at the hotel. The restaurant in the basement was good too. When booking, I had read that the breakfast bar wasn't replenished very quickly but we didn't experience any problems. If I go back to Ruegen I would try and book into the same hotel.
cleanliness and hotel staff was excellent
The friendly staff, the location, and the reasonable rates. The rooms were clean and bright.
The hotel was very nice and clean. The staff was very helpful and most spoke at least some English. Yes, their English was much much better than my German. We were able to rent bikes and sit outside in the beach area and eat at the restaurant.
Reception staff were very helpful. Breakfast was good in pleasant ambiente. The hotel has a lift, which small hotels often lack - and it was easy to transfer luggage to and from the car to the room - well designed and organised! The hotel was arguably the best in Sassnitz to our taste. However, Sassnitz does not have a sandy beach - compare Binz (a touristic jewel but very overcrowded). Nevertheless Sassnitz is the gateway to the national park. The town needs to exploit this fact more and organise itself accordingly - notably lacking was off-road cycle access to the national park. from Sassnitz.
Good restaurant in basement
