Belvoir Pavilions near Berry - Berry - Bedroom
1
9.6 Excellent (178 reviews)
Overview Reviews
"The Studio" is a modern, inviting and fully self contained unit located in Belvoir Pavilions, a beautiful country retreat located 10 minutes south of Berry. It is perfect for a group of friends or family of up to four who wish to escape the city and explore the delights of the scenic NSW South Coast. Guests can also take full advantage of the pool and gardens and other facilities on offer by Belvoir Pavilions. The ground floor contains a hall and a modern bathroom with walk in shower. A flight of stairs leads to the upper floor - an open plan space with glorious floorboards spanning the entire area and cosy rugs scattered throughout. It consists of a well equipped kitchenette with all utensils and appliances, dining table & chairs, sofa, TV with Foxtel and 2 single and 1 double bed.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We loved everything about the Pavilions- Jackie is the perfect host and we couldn’t have had a better time! All of us could not believe how relaxed we were, and how gorgeous the accomodation and grounds are.
Cons: That we had to leave!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very quiet; perfect boutique hotel. Ideally located for visiting the local heritage villages & towns. Classy, well equipped rooms/hotel. Superb swimming pool area (very Balinese). Nice little verandah to sit out on. Great healthy breakfast using best quality products. Jackie & Bill are the perfect hosts.
Cons: Mosquitoes are a little annoying when sitting outside, but spray & coils provided FoC. No biggie, just the time of year.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The accomodation was extremely comfortable and beautifully presented. Would thoroughly recommend.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location suited us as it is close to Berry and other tourist towns on the South Coast. It was quiet and easy to find if you follow the directions. I would recommend this stay for travellers who are out and about during the day and want a comfy place to sleep. We went for a small walk in the morning but there is not much to see and is a short distance along a dead end road. The host is very accommodating and makes every effort to make your stay enjoyable. The breakfast is a light continental breakfast - all we needed. It is pleasant sitting in the garden. We had a swim in the pool which was also a nice way to start the day. The room was beautifully decorated and the bed very comfortable. The rooms in the main house are very much like staying in a bed and breakfast ( a luxury version!). We could hear people walking in the corridor but everyone was very respectful and noise was not a problem.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Jackie is a wonderful host and Belvoir is a beautiful peaceful place to stay. The whole place is thoughtfully decorated/styled and bathrooms very spacious. Jackie provides everything you could need to make your stay as private or as social as you would like. We were staying with Jackie during a critical bush fire period and she did everything she could to make us feel comfortable and provide advise and support when needed. The property is actually well situated to be protected by the Shoalheaven River but also right next to the Princes Highway should you ever feel you want to move quickly. We found it very easy to access both Berry and the coastal towns near by with their beautiful beaches and landscapes to explore.

Pros: We loved it. Peter was just great; he took my daughter and I on a tour of the 100 acre property and we fed the cows, learned about bees and thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful scenery and adventure. We played tennis early each morning, so invigorating and fun. Breakfasts were delicious; we ate too much every morning! The walk to the waterfall was interesting and enjoyable. The cottage is very cozy, clean, warm and inviting. Just walking up and down the driveway, enjoying the views at sunrise and sunset was wonderful. We will definitely be back.

Pros: Wonderful location, so serene with only a 12 minute drive to Berry, where many lovely restaurants and cafes are to be had. We stayed in the Church cottage. This cottage is set back away from the main residence and so gave us complete privacy. The cottage was delightfully furnished and was as a home away from home, with all we could require. Deb, the hostess provided an absolutely fabulous breakfast, with a superb platter of fresh fruit of all kinds, yoghurt, cereal, fresh juice and of course the wonderful hot breakfast of toast, bacon, sausages ,tomato, mushrooms and farm fresh eggs. Indeed we went away with a very full contented stomach! All in all, we highly recommend this lovely place as an escape from the hustle and bustle of our daily lives. We thank you Deb, for a most wonderful stay

Pros: Covered in low cloud on arrival made for an interesting entrance to this rural property located near the Cambewarra Lookout. Very lush locality with old style gardens profuse with plant-life. B&B consists of a Granny flat attached to owner's home with a garden outlook alive with birds. Chooks, ducks and quail are kept and provide amusement to guests. Very pleasant owners who were only to happy to help. Granny flat is comfy, well equipped and homely. Has en-suite, but no cooking facility apart from an excellent electric BBQ outside which does bacon and eggs nicely. Owner provides home made bread and cakes. Not a problem for most, but mobile reception requires a short walk up the back with the chooks. A bookshelf of books are proved for those who may have the time to read. This property is approx. 10 k from Berry NSW and will provide you with a quiet hideaway from the world at large.
Cons: Not a major thing, but the fridge could have been slightly larger.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Plentiful food supplied for breakfast, such that we used some for lunch - more than we could eat. Private and quiet gardens outside the room with an abundance of native wild birds of at least 10 species, some I'd not seen before. The owners were very friendly and hospitable, making our stay a pleasure. On our local drives we saw a wombat, echidna and a wallaby - not often seen alive around Sydney. We drove down to Berry which had lot's of restaurant choices, but book early. Berry markets on the Sunday were the best I've seen.
Cons: The surrounding roads were a bit narrow and windy. No mobile or internet access, unless we went down to Berry. Wasn't missed.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I enjoyed my experience in Mandalay House. The place is so beautiful that you wouldn't want to leave. The hospitality is excellent and the nature in the place is just beautiful.
Cons: The only thing is weak reception of Internet.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The place is absolutely fantastic, plenty of greenery, very quiet and peaceful, the room was spacious and bed was extra comfy. Our favourite place was the patio and garden at the back, and the beautiful live gazebo down the stairs from the garden. Catherine and Paul were very welcoming and accommodating, they shared with us their produce, lent us their guitar and dvd movie, and shared their knowledge on home bread baking with recipes. Definitely the best place we've ever stayed for because of atmosphere and surroundings. Ps. the Greek Orange cakes made by Catherine are to die for!
