Beautiful location in centre of village with views over the valley. Beautiful room Hotel receptionist a little bit arrogant on arrival. Good food in restaurant but very expensive and tables with a valley view were 'reserved' but not occupied during our time there. Tried to charge for breakfast we didn't have
We loved our stay at Au Lion dÓr from the welcome we received on our arrival from both the helpful staff and the resident friendly golden labrador, our upgrade to a valley view room, the superb dinner and breakfast...to the fabulous location in this pretty town. No it was all good here.
Views, localization. 1. Only some representatives of personnel speak English. 2. It took 20mins to create the invoice at the end of our stay. 3. Poor selection in breakfast menu.
Lovely looking hotel - beautiful location and friendly staff. Frustrating showerhead... Food was very good but very overpriced (not a lot of options in the off season).
Pleasant situation, confortable room and helpful staff Expensive restaurant
The food was quit good, as was the wine. Rooms at front have some trouble from traffic noise as of 5.30am.
beautiful location, great food, helpful staff, tranquil.
It was very quiet and relaxing. a very spacious room with good facilities, excellent views and a large bathroom with seoarate wc Some of the staff were a little off hand
wonderful atmosphere, owner was very friendly
The view from the room and from the dining terrasse was magnificent. One member of the staff was not particularly service minded. We asked for help to catch a bus, however, we were cut off and referred to the tourist office (which was closed).
excellent centre for walking and the local cuisine
Stunning view from the room, friendly service, spacious room, good location (in the village and close to the start of the many walking trails) May need some refurbishment (carpets, furniture,..)
It's location is good, en route to Germany as overnight stop. In the heart of Alsace.. great to simply be there!
Locationwas great. One could enjoy hiking trails, especially in the fall. Persons at the reception were not especially friendly or helpful
The location was good and so was the food served at the restaurant. I don't think it was a good value for money. The service and poor.
The management and staff were extremely welcoming, helpful and efficient. The hotel is situated in a lovely part of Alsace, excellent views from our balcony over a wooded valley.
The helpfulness of the staff and the standard of the room - very comfortable
internet connection, view, pool room old-dated, food tasted old, tv only french, doggs in the restaurant, bad road to there
excellent facilities and good room. Hotel was not crowded and meals were good, especially breakfast. Nice terrace for eating out in good weather No tea / coffee facilities in room
very friendly and warm atmosphere nice spa area, unfortunately the massages are really expensive
When you book a classical room, you get a room with a single persons bed, 140 cm, not big enough for 2 people. And these rooms have not been renovated. If you a book a room for 2 persons, there should be a bed for 2 persons, so 180 cm. The bathroom was very small and and old fashioned. The reception was not friendly, no possibility to get another room unless you pay a hugh supplement. And you cannot speak in the sparoom, no cell phones allowed and no smoking outside, not very recommandable for business people.
Price was excellent. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was adequate. Room faced a busy street which was noisy late into the night.
The Hotel Du Parc used to be called Hotel Cully and had a reputation for fine food in Niederbronn Les Bains although rather staid and dated, now completely remodelled it is a fine modern hotel in an excellent position, my wife and I enjoyed our stay, and wanted for nothing in the way of comfort and service, the staff were excellent, the hotel spotlessly clean, in a first class position in a beautiful spa village, the only downside was the breakfast which was lacking in variety and meagre even by French standards, we will stay there again. No.
Our second stay at this great hotel since change of owners, the hotel has developed a calm friendly professional atmosphere and welcomes guests as if they are all friends. The restuarant l'alexians at the hotel is superb, comfort, clean, friendly, what more can one want. absolutely nothing.
Nice hotel, parking, free WiFi, excellent food. Room small, street side a little noisy.
Very friendly and helpful hotel staff, and excellent restaurant
The staff were very friendly and helpfull and the food was very good Our room was a bit noisier than we had been ued to on the rest of our hoilday, the casino traffic at 4 in the morning didn't help
It was located in a quaint village, with excellent walking trails and close to the Citadel at Bitche, France. The hotel didn't have near enough parking spots and it was difficult finding a place to obtain a reasonably priced dinner meal.
Location, friendliness of staff
Central location, although there wasn't much to do on Monday night of the holiday weekend. Restaurant good. OK for a stopover. Quite a lot of traffic noise due to the hotel's position in what is a virtual roundabout.
Restaurant was high level. Food was tasty and young personnel really friendly and skilful and some persons in reception too. The atmosphere in the hotel room was concrete and there has been done nothing since the 70's. Bed as hard and feather pillows were not comfort for allergic. There were quite noisy night traffic and you can't avoid noise either side of hotel because there are roads both side.
Nicely located in the middle of the small village. Well sized room w. all facilities.
Great location, helpful staff, very clean in all areas. We were there for the Challenge France triathlon and this hotel was a perfect place to stay as a base. I'd stay there again. The breakfast was poor and the reception only manned part time.
Good central location on a quiet street in a very pleasant town. Room had everything we needed,
Friendly management, very cosy, nice, spacious room with many available TV channels and a great bathroom. ...Unfortunately, there was no hot water in the evenings. After asking for it, it was available but only warm enough after about 45 minutes.
Convenient for work meeting in Mouterhouse and Reipertsweiller. Liked being near to Vosges forest access and quaint countryside. Breakfast and coffee nice. Would be nice to have a place to have a few drinks later at night. Stronger wireless connection would also be nice.
The staff was extremely nice and helpful. The rooms while old and basic, were unique and had some character. A bit refreshing after two weeks of chain hotels. Everything was clean and worked well. A bit out of the way and a little hard to find.
hotel did not receive reservations from booking.com, but luckily a room was available.
staff were curt about the 'kitchen is closed' situation - almost like being back in Britain!
The hotel had a great restaurant; the food was excellent; the room was comfortable and clean It cost 6 Euros for 3hours fo internet
The location was excellent for us and pet friendly.
An excellent comfortable small hotel with a good kitchen and helpful staff. The breakfast buffet was very complete with a large variety of choices. Location is nice being above railroad station and overlooking the citadel. No plug in bathroom tub--it was provided for next night stay by management.
Beautiful location Wifi in hotel wasn't a strong signal
Nice stuff, good restauran. Little bit smelly premises.
Did what it said on the tin. The food in the restaurant was very good
English language was limited, but adequate. Sauna worked. Restaurant had good food, local cuisine. Golf package was available, but wasn't mentioned. Golf package was available, but not mentioned.
Pleasant helpful staff, excellent food & service
Great location, nice restaurant, comfortable room.
Quality of service
