Very comfortable bed. Rooms are nice. Location to beach is great. Parking cost is $30/night. You can hear every sound through the door.
Great location. Great last minute deal thru Kayak. I will definitely stay again. My room was RIGHT BY THE ELEVATOR... bad move. You hear everythjbg coming in and out. Also, the chef... Well, let's just say the meal I had wSnt great. Actually, it wasn't good either.
The personal are professional and very polite.
NOTHING. EVERYTHING. I would not stay here, they are not accomodating, the staff is rude and inconsiderate. There sheets were terrible, and the room was dirty.
Great view, location - nice rooms. Bed was way too comfortable!
View and location Rooms are starting to run down already - maids screaming in the hallway - room not very clean
Room and view was wonderful! Staff was helpful, and the pool was relaxing. Loved the love music at the pool. Breakfast at the hotel resturant cost us a pretty penny.
The staff is friendly and accumulating. Easy access to beach front. Updated lobby and rooms. Near liquor store. Don't worth the $200+ a night rate I paid. It looks and feels like an old Holiday Inn that was renovated. The view from the rooms of the beach is only a half view as the building is blocking the rest. The carpet was stained. The shower had mold on the grout and caulked in areas. The A/C only kicked on when it wanted to. The pool is the size of an above-ground pool. I paid the rate because the reviews and pictures looked appeasing but it turned out to be a front. Also, it is not an adult only hotel; many, many families present and being very loud and obnoxious. 2-star rating. Only stay here if you find a rate for under $100 a night. Very, very disappointed.
The woman at the front counter was extremely helpful and friendly. She immediately saw our daughter who is two and offered to have us a crib sent up immediately. Hotel restaurant server was also excellent. Gave us great service and the food was great. Seemed a little too "uppity" for our family. It always seemed as if someone was looking for a tip. My husband went down to get a luggage cart to take our bags downstairs and the guy wouldn't let him have the cart. Said it was a "liability". I've been to a lot of hotels and always used my own luggage cart. It's not a liability for heavens sake. It just means someone won't get a tip. Also the bed was not very comfortable but that's just a personal opinion. It could be very comfortable to someone else.
Rooms are stylish, well concepted and executed. Baths and beds and interior design is well done. Rooms have great views and are quiet. This hotel and the W are the two best hotels in Fort Lauderdale and this is a great value. Close to restaurants and the beach. Slight access issues, but once you've stayed there you figure it out and its fine, the location offsets any access challenges.
Friendly staff, clean, close to beach. Nothing negative
This was a great place to stay. It was very nice and looked more modern than most of the hotels on the strip. Staff very friendly and helpful. Most rooms had a beautiful view of the ocean! The higher your room the better. Beds were very comfy. Room amenities: Keurig coffee maker, refrigerator, ice bucket, 4 glasses, safe, hair dryer, shampoo/conditioner/bath gel dispenser in shower, iron/board, mirrors on the closet doors, 2 bottles of water daily They also offered 2 welcome drinks from the bar upon arrival, free beach towels and 2 free beach chairs daily. Location: The location of this hotel was good for us. It is located at the corner of A1A and Sunrise Blvd. The beach was right across the street and this section of the beach wasn't as crowded. We did not need to rent a car. There was plenty of things within a block surrounding the hotel. There was a Thai sushi place, 24hr pizza place, Mediterranean/Vegan spot, deli/sandwich shop, ice cream, popcorn, Subway, 7 Eleven. There were also several souvenir shops, a pub and a couple of other small restaurants. We rented a scooter from Fun Rentals right behind the hotel so we could explore a little further. Great transportation without paying for valet parking. We also used the beach shuttle ($3/person). Other transportation options include Trolley ($1/ride), City bus (bus stop right out front), cab, Uber, bike rentals. The nightlife is about a mile south of the hotel (30 min walk) on A1A. The Galleria mall was about 1/2 mile west on Sunrise blvd...not far at all. Overall this was a great place and we would stay here again. The pool was sort of small though. I would have liked a microwave as well though. Restaurant in hotel was kind of expensive so we never ate there.
setting no breakfast before 7 am
The proximity to port Everglades is convenient. When I arrived, I was ignored for 20 minutes just standing at the counter while 2 staff members were having a conversation. The lobby and hallways were filthy and smelled terribly. when I asked about the smell a staff member replied "that's just how it smells". While checking in online, I requested a high floor room with a marina view. what they gave me was a first floor room and the "beautiful marina view" was obstructed by overgrown and unkept vegetation, so overgrown that I couldn't get any sunlight into the room. The staff was both incredibly unfriendly and unhelpful. I called down 3 times on my first day to request extra pillows, they told me all 3 times the pillows were on the way. Nothing was ever delivered to the room. There was a large gathering of water underneath the television when I got into the room, when I asked about this they told me they would "look into it" This was without a doubt the worst stay I've ever had at a Hilton property. I would've stayed at a motel 6 and paid a fraction of the price If I knew it was going to be this terrible.
Staff was friendly A/C did not work and carpets were dirty
Location to the convention center The lobby was extremely chaotic and loud. There is nothing near the hotel that gives you options for dining out as far as I could tell.
Shower did not work in my room. I let the front desk know upon checkout and they did not offer any discount for my inconvenience. I had to ask them what they could do for me, and after some haggling with them, they gave me free parking for the night. Will not stay at this hotel ever again.
Nice rooms, comfortable big beds, good price for location Not the most beautiful from the outside where we stayed. Came a day earlier than reservation and they were sold out. Parking $25 a night!
Ants in room, being charged for a 23 oz draft but only getting a 16 oz glass.
- Only "glitch" was that, when checking in, the front desk said that my business debit card was declined....twice. However: • There was 60x more funds in the account than was needed • I called the Bank and they had no record of even any attempts and • I immediately used that same card at the hotel restaurant Unfortunately, I was forced to use my personal credit card
It was a great hotel. The rooms were updated and comfortable. Will highly recommend. Nothing
Great location, comfortable room Hallways and bathrooms were not clean to Hilton standards
Great hotel, great service. Our door balcony messed up on us and they moved us into a nicer room with a view to accommodate the inconvenience. Staff was nice and took great care of us. I would definitely go back again
Intercoastal view with a big tree blocking from seing anything
Restaurant food is delicious and the service is awesome. The views are lovely. The beach resort is accessible by shuttle and is worth the ride, very beautiful. The best things are the staff and the view Everything is way overpriced, starting with the $40 a night mandatory valet parking to the $35 per person breakfast. If you don't have a car you don't have a choice, so it gets expensive. The rooms are nice but there is very low water pressure in the shower and the sink. No soundproofing so you will hear everything your neighbor's are doing (I.e. The screaming infant in the adjacent room).
pool and right on the beach under construction. but can't help that
Checked in at the B Ocean in Fort Lauderdale beach, the phone in the room wasn't working most of the time, staff said that they would send a tech to fix it, but no one never came. Ordered room service, waited two hours for them to tell me that the menu that was in the room was an outdated menu which they originally brought me when I had to order, cause there was no menu in the room, so it took me about 3 hours to get some dining in my room. And to have this room cleaned, I had to call at least twice to tell them to send someone to clean the room, and when they finally came, some supervisor came up to room 792 with an attitude to tell me that they were busy and that's why it took them so long. Overall, I will never stay at this hotel anymore, and recommended no one to stay here either. Service is extremely bad.
Close to the beach and to the strip, super friendly and accommodating staff! We definitely enjoyed our stay
The pool right on the beach are awesome. You can sit in the pool and watch the TVs at the pool bar. The mermaid show is great and I have seen it about 5 times now. We were not informed that it was under major renovation. The bar in our building didn't open until 5:30. There used to be two bars but one is now closed for renovation. Since there were no vending machines on the hall floors, if you wanted a soda or otherwise you only had one option. Walk out, across the parking lot to a different building (also under renovation) and go to the pool bar. I couldn't even find where breakfast was. If we were just informed of the renovations we would have simply waited a bit to go. I was so dissatisfied we probably wont go back.
The best part of the resort/hotel was location. Depending on what building you stay at, the beach was within walking distance. Also, many restaurants and activities weren't far away. We had to use our cell phones to call the front desk, because the speed dial numbers on the hotel phones would ring busy when we call. Also, called for a wake up call, which we never received. Housekeeping would not come or would come in the late afternoon, when we get back from our outings; often times the hallway and under the bed was not cleaned up. When we went to the beach, we were told to raise a flag (which was provided on a pole) when we would like to have bar staff come to see what we need. No one ever came to check on anyone on the beach. The resort fee (according to Delta Vacations) includes 2 beach chairs, 2 bottles of water, 2 signature drinks, 2-2hr bike rental, board games, sand toys, each day. However when asked, I was told the signature drinks were discontinued from the resort fee 2 years ago. Overall, the value for what we paid was not worth it, and do not plan on going back. The pictures from the website are not a good representation of facilities or service. Renovation can only improve appearance.
Just one cleaning lady was nice. Construction guys everywhere, noise, dust, smell.all restaurants in hotel closed! Second pool closed!SKYWALK-CLOSED! each time you go across the road with kids.Terrible experience this year.will never stop there again and will never recommend it to my friends!
The staff was terrific and welcoming, the renovatied rooms were lovely, the pool is amazing We didn't care for the onsite restaurants. However the wreck was fun and we enjoyed the mermaid show.
Nice People Paying for parking across the street $30.00 a day, You are paying to stay there your parking should be free.
View Everything at this hotel is broken, elevators, phones, the Skywalk that takes you from one side to the other. The pool is small and there is only 1 bathroom for everyone, the line was at least half hour long all day. It was faster to walk the 2 blocks, cross traffic and climb the stairs to use the bathroom in your room than wait in line, or walk to the beach, which it seemed mist were doing, and use nature's facilities. They also charge $20 a day to park you car and another $20 for resort fees, I'm not sure where that money goes, since everything is broke and the pool is the almost the smallest I've ever seen at a hotel besides a few motel 8's.
service was excellent. beachfront beautiful. rooms clean and comfortable. a long walk to pool due to construction., otherwise great.
Great pool and beach! Undergoing extensive renovations without being warned when booked the hotel.
I booked a room at B Ocean Resort for NYE and the following night. First, I was assigned the wrong room in the wrong tower. The second day, our access card didn't work anymore, because the room was not properly registered as a back-to-back reservation. Second, while we ended up getting a room with lcean view, the sink wasn't properly working. Third, and the worst part about it, B Ocean Resort charger my credit card randomly with bills that I never signed off for. I had about 6 charges for random amounts on my bill, but had only signed one final bill at checkout. Lastly, the food is very expensive. For instance, we ordered one yoghurt as room service for breakfast and the bill, including taxes and tip was $20 (!) For a 4 stars "resort" I would expect way better service and staff, particularky considering their pricing. Billing my card with unauthorized charges is unacceptable!
My boyfriend and I flew in from out of town and stayed here this past week for 3 days. Everything was amazing; the front desk was very professional and polite. Room service was great and accommodating. I loved the spa pool and pool side bar. The view of the marina from our room was breath taking. We will definitely be staying here again when we fly in for Christmas.
Hotel did not look the same as pictures displayed online. The room smelling like old cigarette smell it wasn't a balcony either
Comfort, atmosphere. Staff was friendly, helpful. Outdoor walking from place to place (i.e. room to room, room to pool) Food was not good and not enough a variety. Needs coffee. Laundry facilities not in the building. Wine was way overpriced.
A beautiful place and always feels like you are on a luxury vacation. The lobby bar is one of the best hotel bars ever. I am concerned my credit card will be used under someone else's name as my bill I received was incorrect at the end of my stay and had the incorrect t address on the statement... Every time I've been to the hotel the check in is a huge issue and great area of concern... Honestly, limits my likeliness to return due to headache of rooms are never ready (I checked in last time the room wasn't ready until after 6p and this time I checked in at 4p and had to choose a room on a lower floor due to room on the original was not ready).
The pool area was very nice and great location on the water close to the beach I reserved a room with a king size bed. When I arrived I was told there was none available and was given a room with two queen size beds. They seemed smaller than queen and were definitely cheap mattresses. Very uncomfortable. Also the wallpaper was peeling off the walls and there was mold on the walls. Definitely not a 4 star!
A very nice, but somewhat dated resort. Excellent location. They need to patrol the very large property at night. A very loud group partied from around midnight until 4 AM to ruin any chance of a good nights sleep!
Lots of activities to do, large chess, pedal car racing, stage, soccer goals, corn hole set up, ping-pong, foozeball, kids play room, kids camp, huge hot tub, 2 pools. Pool bar. Inside sky bar, amazing vue from rooftop. Clean rooms and modern for the age if hotel. Deff a nice place to stay i stayed 2nd floor marina vue #2333 next time ill stay in the tower . Alexander in maintenance/engineering was amazing too Pier 66 restaurant, is not attched to hotel might be seperate entity all together, however it has the class and feel of a 5 star classy reasuraunt but the noise of a pub or sports bar on game day weekend. 20 percent gratituity added to bill automatically and prices were beyond crazy for two people water and food expect around 50 to 90 bucks a head more if u have alcohol or appetizers. Food was great tho so was service. So to each is own still a great time.
Pool lounge and pool staff were very friendly and accommodating as was the bellmen. Lots of things tho do for kids. Breakfast menu at Mariners was very overpriced and of little value including drinks. Women's poolside restroom didn't have functioning locks on stalls.
Everyone was very nice and knowledgeable I liked everything
The property is in a sorry state, run down, depressing. The pardon our appearance signs do not forgive the obvious neglect. The staff acts like they know it too. Stay away.
Very clean room Pool very cloudy
Great service, staff, food. Great location. Hidden fees. Mandatory "resort fee" should be part of up front cost, not an "indicental" learn-about-it-upon-checkout fee. Wifi painfully slow.
Beach front and accessible to anything, nice ocean view from the room, clean hotel and it has everything we need. Front desk is horrible specially the person who checked us in. She told me that I will get a text or a phone call when the room is ready but unfortunately no one calls me back not text. I have to call and find out myself to see if our room was ready. Other than that everything was perfect.
It was a beautiful hotel with very friendly staff. We were able to checkin early and the junior suite with the balcony views was wonderful. That the ATM charged US$3.50 to take cash out.
I had to wait until 6pm to check in
Nice pool area, access to beach; good restaurant/bar; close to lots of activities in Ft. Lauderdale
The location was great and the rooms were very nice! The wedding we attended was beautiful. I had left a watch by the pool and checked with the front desk to see if anyone had turned it in. They simply said no and sent me on my way. However, when I checked at the pool restaurant, she asked me if the front desk had checked with lost and found. The front desk didn't even bring up lost and found as an option. Luckily, security had received the watch and we were able to get it back.
Lovely hotel, large room although suite was booked. Balcony door did not lock
Location and suite we stayed in The valet parking - over priced and under delivered
access to ocean construction
Walking into the resort really felt like home. The staff was friendly and very accomodating and it felt so fancy! I really enjoyed my stay and I always stay at the Hilton when I travel, never disappoints! We had a jetted tub in the room and a view of the beach, the swimming pool overlooked the ocean which was walking distance from the hotel! Our whole experience with the resort was everything we dreamed of. Will definitely return our next trip to Fort Lauderdale!
It was a great location however service and staff were average. No one really went out of their way to be helpful. We arrived at the hotel at 9 am and were not allowed into the room till 3pm. The jacuzzi tub had yellow water coming out of the faucet.
Bathrooms were good and room standards were very acceptable Restaurant seemed a bit Galban hearted and lacked sole - being picky but bar AC was way too cold
Location; felt safe as a lone traveler. Friendly staff. Excellent housekeeping staff. No in room coffee maker.
good price and clean room with excellent service
This hotel was an extremely low grade. For the price you pay, if you're wanting something in this price range, you could definitely find something cheaper that's better or invest a little more in a higher grade hotel. The outside was disappointing and the inside matched it. It's definitely dated and needs some work, as well as gives off this old smell. The bed was real uncomfortable and when I got to my room I had no soap, no towels or anything else that all hotels lay out for you. Staff was incompetent and I will not be back.
We paid $50 for a room key, But due to a storm, no room key was available.
It was a casual hotel. Computers to use in the lobby. I did not like the balconies. I like to sit outside in a chair and relax on the balcony. There was no way you could do that at this hotel. And the door leading into the hotel room was broken and flimsy.
Comfortable rooms, wi-fi access for free, hotel location Breakfast service very slow
We are golfers, and used the golf course several times. The location was good for what we wanted. If we wanted the beach we would have chosen another location. No
Storm met us at the taxi and escorted in and to our room His smile and warm demeanor set the tone for our short stay. He was excellent
We stayed in the hotel for our anniversary and the staff was phenomenal! They took the time to draft a hand written card and special fruit/nuts/wine for our special weekend. Thank you so much to Brenda and the rest of the Westin colleagues!!
Great ocean view good location Resort hits you with lots of fees
Location was convenient. Starbucks on site, which was great. There was no communication between staff. One person told you it was okay to do something and another person said it wasn't okay. They also charge you "service" charges and don't mention that means tip so you pay tip twice unless you ask.
We were greeted as we got out of the car and as soon as you walk into the hotel there was fresh fruit infused water and Olympic cookies. Room was clean and big enough for our group. The pool staff was SUPERB! Our waiter, Emanuel, always made sure we were taken care of and Judy made sure we always had the best seats by the pool. The gym was well equipped and even offered cold towels and fruit. Plus there was a great view of the ocean. My group will stay here every time we are in the area! $30 a day resort fee.
they upgraded my room! They are nice loved them
The location was great, was never loud in the area. Beach is right out the front door. Great food within .5 mile walk. walk down to Las Olas for food and fun. For a young couple, we still paid about 2x as much as our kayak rental. It is $40 a day to park your car, and it's only valet, it's unlimited use of your car, but then you add tips. There is a resort fee not included, which is not too expensive. And we did choose to pay $25 extra a night for a view, which was worth it. Pool food is not great, and service is slow-- but go down to Las Olas for food and fun.
Excellent location right on the beach, awesome customer service & extremely friendly and helpful staff. I will definitely be coming back again both for business and with my family for leisure time! Nothing.
Judy was fantastic. Cost of drinks.
Pool, easy access to beach, towel and toy rental, away from restaurant/bar strip, walking distance to cvs for essentials and alcohol, easy access to Sun Trolley and bus to get to stores, museum, downtown. Expensive, resort fee, in-house restaurants served bad food and were very expensive, no close by family friendly cheaper food options, expensive beach chair and umbrella rentals, far from grocery store and other shopping
The people who work there are super friendly and helpful. Excellent!
Good location. Great views on beach side. I don't like being quoted a price on kayak.com paying that price and then having to pay a resort fee when I get there....especially when I don't know what my $60 resort fee got me. There were towels at the pool. Was that it? Went across the street to the beach, we swam and layed on lounge chairs under an umbrella...then a hotel staffer sats we either need to pay... $20/umbrella or $6/chair....why did I pay $60 in resort fees and I can't use a chair? No airport shuttle and outright dishonesty on pricing. I may stay there again, but I'm never paying a resort fee with no benefits again.
Very nice resort...free upgraded room on the 5th floor with view of the ocean. Staff was okay. Super beach and very tropical like. Close to shopping too. Restaraunt is very good but expensive. Bug (c-roach) in the room, moved the table to hunt it down and noted the table hadn't been moved for awhile...food/dirty carpet.
Beachfront, pools and very close to shopping, restaurants and activities Can be expensive
This is a fabulous hotel and amazing value for money . I cannot praise it enough from the beautiful decor , the huge room, private beach and friendly staff . It's only ten minutes from cruise terminal and fort Hollywood airport and would make a great holiday destination as well as a stopover. Excellent hotel.
The property was gorgeous, classically elegant Florida. Low key and no overcrowding! The beach was beautifully maintained and the beAch staff - especially Lane were so nice and attentive! Restaurant service was spotty - the food was very good but even with low volume the service was not very attentive. We frequently waited a long time for service, had to ask for silverware, more water, etc.
private beach was excellent and location of hotel was quiet. pools were large and clean. food quality was good . to find hotel was not easy , located off small road in estate , no sign at road side. hotel adds 18% to bill as tip even if you are not happy with service and then asks for more ( bigger tip ). i want to tip how i though the service not an automatic tip by hotel staff.
private beach with chairs , 2 pools , volley ball and poing pong ,and new
Execellent atmosphere, nice beach, very nice location.
Beautiful location. Staff were friendly and always willing to go out of there way. Clean and comfortable rooms. Loved pool restaurant. Access to the beach was perfect. You can see hotel is showing some age. Hard to listen to people talk about how they paid half your price to be there. Should be more consistent with price.
Immediately pulling up you know this is going to be a beautiful place to stay! Staff was very nice and knowledgeable. Rooms were great and best of all we were right on the beach! Having Starbucks in the hotel was awesome! I would definitely go back!
I booked 3 nights here with my girlfriend. This hotel seemed like the best deal in the area as far as wanting an ocean view and a balcony. The fridge in the room was a great plus, we were able to buy drinks and snacks to keep in the room. The beds were comfortable, although extremely warm, just turn the thermostat way down before going to bed. The restaurants in the hotel were very good for breakfast and lunch. The night desk person was very rude. We got back to the hotel one night around 11:30pm and wanted to know if room service was still available or if any of the restaurants were still serving. We waited at the desk for a few minutes before finally calling the hotel from one of our cell phones. The night desk person came out of the back to answer the phone, which was us standing there waiting on her. She rudely told us that she had too much work to do and could not stay at the desk. I would understand going to the back room around 3-5am, but this was 11:30 at night, people were still coming and going, bars and restaurants in the area were still open. I suggest this hotel give this person work they can do while at the desk.
The hotel has really become special ever since it was taken over by Wyndham. They did an amazing job cleaning the property up and making a top notch hotel. The staff is fantastic and the rooms are comfortable offering amazing views of the ocean. A perfect place for anyone looking for a place to escape the winter up north without having to go to Miami or Fort Lauderdale. Not a big complaint but the pool could be a little bigger. When you have some kids in there it can feel a little small.
You can't get any closer to the beach than this and there are restaurants within walking distance making it perfect. The only small downside is that the underside of the duvet covers are a bit slippery so they kept falling off the bed throughout the night.
Loved the location. There were so many places within walking distance. And not too far away by car were several plazas with shopping and eateries. Not really a spot for childless couples to get away. But we made the best of it.
The rooms were clean When I arrived we were informed that the water main has been shut down and the water is not for drinking or showering. The hotel said we can get a reservation down the road(horrible location) and will cancel our reservation if we would like. The couldn't even guarantee the same rate at the other hotel. Usually when a huge inconvenience like this happens, things are comped and rooms upgraded, this was not the case and was told we could basically stay at the hotel where we made a reservation over a month in advance, or we could leave. I chose to stay because I didn't want to gamble with another hotel that I had done no research on. My experience with Bahia mar was terrible as far as customer service and guest relations
We were walking distance from the beach literally across the street. Also on a very popular strip close to many bars, restaurants and novelty shopping. And pretty much less than a 15 minute drive from anywhere we wanted to go. "Liquor Store" across the street was deceiving as it had very little liquor BUT did have Fatt Tuesday Slushies. Oh also they charge $25 a day for self parking & $30 a day valet ON TOP OF a $50 per day hold (that is returned 1-5 days after you check out). Besides that
very nice staff and helpful, I also enjoyed the bar downstairs. The location is good as it is far away enough from the hustle and bustle of the main drag, but is still walkable. the vending machines were not functioning and the interior hallways were very hot.
Great location easy access in the heart of everything Staff was friendly and pleasant everyone smiled and said hello Some items that are a challenge $21 a day to park $20 a day for the Internet some of the areas seem to be unkept the needed some cleaning.
Emir the front desk attendant pick and choose who can stay at this hotel, very racist, if you don't fit a certain description or you look as though you don't fit into an elit group, your resavation will be cancelled or you will be offered a room at a higher rate..will not stay or recommend to any one ...
Location is nice $21.00 a day parking, expensive internet service. CAUTION, they have a 4 story motor lodge that is nothing like the photos they show of the rooms. It's a dive for the price! That's were we got put and we will never be back! I'd avoid this property. And the water is yellow.
Really nothing stood out Construction around the pool all day,Bathtubs water disnt drain, room smelled, loud music coming from next room over every night..very bad time
Great location. Easy to walk to the beach, nice hotel pool and friendly staff. Parking costs $26/day, but most lots around there are $40, so I guess that's kind of a deal.
Great location to everything
The staff was very friendly and nice. Once we got to the hotel there was only one desk attendant and two parties checking in in front of us. It was cold outside and it was already after 11, we wanted to get to our room as fast as possible. After checking in we were told that our room was in a different building and that we had to walk outside again in order to get to our room. Once we got to the room (witch was even colder than the outside temperature of 60 degrees) There was no light switch! You had to find your way over to the bed in the dark to turn on the light. Now if that wasn't bad enough the light flickered like in a bad horror movie, so we had to go with the bathroom light that had a white greenish color to it. Upon laying in bed it was so uncomfortable, the reason being that the mattress completely slumped inwards as if it hadn't been replaced in many years. This was supposed to be a romantic getaway for my boyfriend and I instead I had asked him to leave and go back home (wich wasn't too far away luckily) We never spent more than 20 minutes in this place, thats how much of a downgrade it was from our usual sleeping quaters on a boat where we both work.
we love it and we will be booking again from you thanks again
Best resort I have been to in decades. Won't need to go anywhere else when in Florida. Reasonably priced and is a true 5-star resort. Best kept secret in Fort Lauderdale region. I can't wait to go back! Shower was horrible.
It was a nice hotel, very clean. The service in the dining room and outside dining area was very much on island time. If you are not on a schedule then it would be fine.
The staff, the lobby, breakfast was excellent every day and the location and parking were convenient. Staff were friendly and helpful. And honest; I left my jewelry and was called so I could retrieve it. I would recommend it and stay again if they upgrade their rooms. The room. It was dull, sheets were worn and had holes; the towels were small and very rough; there was only one lamp; bathroom was old and worn; showerhead was broken; tub didn't drain; remote for TV didn't work and there was only one chair on the terrace and we asked every day for another one. no towels at pool; pool staff not around.
its location, good car parking access to lively miami and the beauty of the everglades.
We loved the balcony and ocean view. The room was nice, comfortable, and clean. The cabanas/beach chairs were convenient.
The first room a Euro room was Ok but not what I wanted with no view at all. The second room with a sea view overlooked the pool which was a problem from noise at times as there is a pool side bar. Many guests ignored the signs about night swimming too. Overall it is a pleasant place to stay and is right on a beautiful beach. The staff are excellent too. The internet is diabolically slow and inadequate. You will either be frustrated by it's inadequacy or end up in reception. The internet facility is also a little aggressive in blocking things you might noramlly use.
Location, location, location- beautiful property directly on beach. Outdoor restaurant overlooking the ocean was beautiful. Food was okay and pricey. Room was not well cleaned. No dressing mirrors in room other than in bathroom.
Location was convenient, the hammocks on the beach were comfortable, the pool was crystal clean, good place to relax Parking was tight - but free - "direct view of the ocean" was not so direct - noise level from slamming doors went on into the wee hours of the morn
The outdoor restaurant with a view of ocean while eating. Good food The room was small. The lounge chairs by the pool were wicker and very uncomfortable
The pool areas, the restaurant overlooking the beach, the beach access. The food at the restaurant was quite good.
the conveince of being right on the beach the shower water was not hot enough
We stayed 3 days it was nice my kids enjoy it alot, you have the pool and the beach right there,it was awsome, the location was great you have a big Boulevard of restaurants, cafe,a small mall...all in front of the beach... I did not like that you have to rent the chair and umbrella,of the beach that should be included,
Loved the location. My husband and I really wanted to spend time at the beach and relax. Restaurant lighting is more cafeteria style and lacks ambience. Food was not good, burned & a major disappointment.
Rude night clerk that greeted us. Old food in the vending machine that only take chaneed or dollars no larger bill changers anywhere. If not for the night clerk they would have gotten 5 stars from me everyone else was extremely friendly.
Clean friendly staff. Drinks great! That I had to leave.
Location on the beach with easy access was nice. Also, I appreciated that they let you take pool towels onto the beach (at least I didn't see a sign telling you not to). It wasn't just the outdated room infested with ants that irritated me (not the biting kind; the ones that just seek out food residue). It was really the little things that pissed me off. Like in the bathroom, which seemed nice and updated but then you realize that the sink doesn't turn off. And the toilet paper holder doesn't fit the slots in the wall. Also, remember that their private beach is THEIR private beach, not yours. If you want to sit in a chair or have some water you must buy it from THEM. You can't bring your own. This is basically a $69 budget hotel in a great location which allows them to jack up the room rates.
Not impressed with the overall condition.
Rooms need update. Lobby and the other parts of hotel have been updated.
Good: on the beach location Not so good: daily parking fee
We really liked the atmosphere and the staff. Everyone was helpful and fun to talk too. The beach view is great! The Tiki bar was fun and efficient!
View was fantastic. Front desk was excellent in getting our rooms near each other. Couldn't have asked for anything better. Guess the only thing I didn't like was paying $18 per day for parking whether you parked it yourself or used valet.
Beach front location, relatively quiet . Bed was comfortable and seemed clean. , . - Room was very dark, old beaten up furniture, - very small sink area and bathroom, - air conditioner was not possible to shut off or adjust, it was unnecessary noisy and cold in the room. - terrible pillows, used my own travel pillow - Kind of very gloomy depressing room. - very cold inside lobby and restaurant. weather was rainy but staying inside was even worse
Liked the pool and beach The rooms felt old, dated and carpet was old and smelly.
