Pros: very friendly staff and owners. they realy try to make your stay comfortable and are ready to help whatsoever.
Cons: Insects were a little problem so it would be nice to have nets on the windows installed.
Pros: Hotel building and surroundings are beautiful, owners very friendly and helpful, breakfast very tasty with fresh yogurt and warm pastries! Just couple of minutes walk to the restaurants and local supermarket.
Pros: Vincent & Henri are the best hosts one can get!
Pros: Friendly welcome. Homely feel to the place, but spotless and spacious. Nice breakfast.
Cons: We were walking the GR 20 so the situation of Casa Alta required a 10 min detour. This was the only fault
Pros: Attitude of friendly hosts Henry & Vincent, their exceptional dinner was a marvelous experience
Cons: That we could stay at property just one night due to our tight vacation schedule.
Pros: Great ambiance, delicious food, very helpful owners, very comfortable bed
Pros: I was looking for a good accomodation in the middle of my GR20 trek and this one surpassed all my expectations! Room was very comfortable, but that was just the beginning. Dinner was amazing, 5 course menu with local wine and schnapps. And the staff, they were very very friendly, could speak good english and nothing was problem. I needed to get up very early because of my GR20 trek so the owner prepared breakfast just for me to have all the comfort even in early early morning! One of the best placec I have ever visited!

Cons: Nothing - as we really enjoyed our stay.
Pros: The location had stunning scenery either side, If you can ignore the traffic noise. The room was clean.
Cons: It was right on the main coastal road, but despite this the rooms at the back were quiet with no traffic noise. The child of the owners was shouting alot at his parents which could be heard throughout the whole hotel, in our room's and continued throughout our meal. Not great! And ruined our evening meal. The cleaning staff in the morning were clearly waiting for us to leave! The vacuum, new towels and cleaning box were blocking our doorway and it still wasn't check out time yet.
Pros: Regular french breakfast. Kindly host speaks English. Close private parking. Good and not expensive restaurant on site.
Pros: Gorgeus location, fantastic view on the monuntains, cosy garden terrace. Excellent breakfest. The restaurant offers fine tasting meals for reasonable pricing. size of the bathroom is adequate, modern sophisticated shower equipment. Our room was small but sufficient for a stay of several days. Comfortable bed. We can recommend this hotel and will come back when visiting Korsika again.

Cons: The room was a little small and dark but fine for our one night stay.
Pros: The owner was very warm and welcoming. The hotel is small and quite simple which you expect from a restaurant with rooms. The breakfast was excellent and great value.
Pros: The owner was super nice, great service, breakfast and meals are delicious. The rooms are big enough and super clean. We were totally happy, especially for the price. Highly recommend to stay there.
Cons: Nothing. :-)
Located in Bastelica, Artemisia Boutique Hôtel is in a regional park, a 3-minute drive from Ortala Waterfall Trailhead and 6 minutes from Cricheto Pass Train. The front desk is staffed during limited hours. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Artemesia is a very small hotel in a gorgeous mountain village. Jean-Rene looked after us so well and was so kind and helpful. We did a hike from the village up to amazing waterfalls and rock pools with huge boulders. We ate at a restaurant in the village which was superb. The breakfast at Artemesia was fantastic. Homemade compote and the most delicious home-made organic yoghurt we have ever had. The coffee was excellent too. We had a great stay ....a family of 4 ( 17yr and 19yr old kids).
Cons: The only downside for me and my husband was the bed was very hard and uncomfortable. My kids, however, found the beds very comfy.
Pros: The staff were courteous and polite, especially Jean-Renard, who's big personality is perfect for hospitality work. Lovely clean room, crisp white sheets. Lovely views from the bed AND bath. Food of an evening was really tasty, using local produce. The staff were very accommodating when we came in past 8pm to see if they would serve us, as there was nowhere else to eat in the village through the week (except weekends). The setting and style of the hotel were beautiful. The views were just incredible and the village was very quaint.
Cons: The plunge pool looked like maybe the pump was broken as there was a a green tinge on the walls and didn't look as clean as it should have been. It's a shame as it's a main feature of the hotel, when booking. I would say this is important to address, as the rest of the hotel is wonderfully immaculate. The shower rail was broken in our room so the shower head kept sliding down. We told a member of staff and he explained they couldn't get anyone out to fix it until the next day (when we were leaving) nor could they fix it temporarily, even though my husband did this with my bikini strap in 20 seconds. They did apologise and provided a drink on the house, which was a nice gesture. Breakfast was very pricey for just coffee, tea, fruit, pastries and cake but this seems to be the norm in Corsica. I find it sad, seeing as it's over 100 euros JUST for a bed ( & breakfast is chargeable at most places). It's a disappointing trend unfortunately. Bed AND breakfast, in my opinion, should be in the one price quoted, especially when there's no cooking involved.
Pros: After two weeks in a tent the stay at Artemesia felt like a vacation within a vacation. Comfy bed with a view in the beautiful, wild garden and the excellent Corse food were the highlights
Pros: Very interesting, nicely designed hotel. Highlight is the view from the room. The bed was oriented towards the window with a beautiful view on the mountains. It’s like a 120” flatline TV
Pros: Excellent location for hiking The Pozzi!
Cons: Breakfast could have been a little better
Pros: This was the second time at Artemisia. I stayed here in 2016 and again with my son in October 2018. And we'll be back some day again. Wonderful place, warm welcome by the owner, great view from the bed and bath and great breakfast.
Pros: Above expectations on every level, great service, great people !
Pros: Great view on the mountains in a very agreable hotel with super friendly staff.
Cons: Lack of coffee facilities in the room.
Pros: Beautifully appointed hotel. Great location for Bastelica and nearby hiking/nature/etc. Excellent food in the restaurant - dinner was perfect and there is a very good daily brunch. Very calm and relaxing. Amazing views.
Cons: The rooms are incredibly small - fine for a short stay as long as you are very comfortable with your roommate... We had read a lot about how much help and information we would get from hotel staff regarding the surrounding area and activities so were surprised at how little advice we were able to get, even when we asked. A little lacking in atmosphere in the communal areas but we were out of season so it was very quiet.

Pros: Vers friendly and helpful staff. Nice House! Can definetely recommend it...
Pros: This hotel was so so beautiful and the staff was wonderful. It was a magical experience.
Pros: In the Corsican summer, it was amazing to get to this hotel in the middle of a pine tree forest. Its yellow neon signs are straight out of a spooky film. It's like being in Austria or northern US states more than in a Mediterranean island. It was very windy and our room had two big windows, from which we could hear and watch the pines stir. The room was great, elegant, classic and the bathroom more modern and very good too. I adored reading my book on a small terrace outside, in the forrest, with a jacket and a Cap Corse. The food was good and the little living room in which people drink l'apéro is charming as hell. I can't wait to go back.
Pros: Friendly small hotel in a lovely location
Pros: This hotel is a real gem! It is situated right on the road, midway between Ajaccio and Corte, in a beautiful forest. There is a lot of great hiking around. It is a small hotel in a renovated old house, very charming and romantic but at the same time modern and comfortable. The room and the bathroom were very clean, spacious and functional, the bed was very comfortable. We were fortunate to be there on a Saturday, when they have at the restaurant live performance of Corsican music. This was unforgettable experience! The food at the restaurant was also delicious. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel is right on the famous GR20 trek, so my husband stayed there again when he was doing the trek, which was a nice respite from the night after night sleeping in a tent. Overall, the hotel was wonderful!
Pros: Funky renovated building with great food and kind staff.
Cons: Noise from staff and restaurant can disturb light sleepers.
Pros: Old and interesting house but clean and enough modern inside. Large private parking. Excellent view from a room. Restaurant on site
Cons: Price too high. Poor breakfast for its price. Restaurant too expensive with small choices

Cons: The cabin in the woods was average and only 1 PowerPoint.
