East Clare Golf Village was set in a quiet location but the accommodation was excellent! Very very clean and staff helpful. As we were travelling around the County, it was central to where we wanted to go. Really loved our visitors - the ducks !!!!
loved it. full stop. ive stayed in hotels all around the world. i spent a few nights in Kings 5 star hotel in cork which was my favourite upto now but given the choice, id go back to east clare golf village any day. i would recommend this place to everyone. 10 out of 10. and i absolutly loved the ducks!
beautiful location and spacious luxurious accommodations. staff was very friendly and helpful.
Comfort, location and the views were all great and we will consider this again.
Large cottage with two bedrooms and a pull out sofa. Kitchen with all utensils and cookware. Huge savings over eating every meal at a restaurant. Very helpful and friendly staff.
The standard of the accomodation was superb, very comfortable and clean. The accomodation was extremely well equipped. only downside was the one night we wanted to use the bar it was closed. This was at 9.30pm.
We enjoyed our stay at the East Clare Golf Village. The staff was friendly and helpful in finding activities for us to do. It was difficult to find at first since it is not located on any major roadway.
atmosphere, price, friendliness of staff no
Lovely location good food friendly staff View from bedroom window not great, it was a big wheelie bin depot
Nice location, close to town. Comfortable and good value for money. Was satisfactory as a 1 night stopover. Hotel is showing too many signs of wear. Needs a major refurbishment. Bedrooms are on the small side. Didn't use leisure facilities so cannot comment on these.
perfect for the occasion of the christening. Good staff, nice layout.
Beautiful location, welcoming & efficient staff and lovely ambience!!
Beautiful Location and staff very helpful
The staff were very friendly and went out there way to help in any way they could. The location was fantastic. It ticked all the boxes for us. Will definatley be coming back.
The Staff This Hotel is outdated cold Room had to get a heater, no double glazed windows with catches broken, no hot water when we needed it, Alarm went off at 6am and again at 9am, 1.5 to 2 Star. would not go back. It was a city break out of Hell
Spacious bedrooms (126 & 300) Very good dinner & dinner-menu Good breakfast selection A lady singer with a rather unattractive voice with the volume on her equipment turned up far too high penetrated all rooms near the bar. Maybe she was performing for a private party, but her voice penetrated the ground floor.
Lovely location, convenient to centre Windows dirty. Bathroom grotty
The hotel is in a lovely setting within easy walking distance of the town centre, in an easy to find location, surrounded by many cosy pubs, and it also caters in-house. The staff are very polite, wireless internet access is included and a very filling buffet breakfast. Rooms are comfortable and well appointed. This is very suitable for both business and leisure travellers. Overall very good value. I will be staying again. The only thing to watch out for is the car parking, which appears substantial but the hotel is very popular, so it’s very busy.
The warm hospitality, comfort and relaxing atmosphere.
We stayed in a suite and the rooms are quite spacious. The rooms were dirty (dust on windows and on floor, spots on carpet, kettle not clean) and really need some refresh. Bathroom floor was not in good condition (stone floor broken). Breakfast table was not clean (spot on tablecloth ans plates). This hotel is very expensive for what it offers.
I was taking my mother on a trip and we enjoyed the stay at your hotel very much. We especially enjoyed walking the grounds and the brook. We wish we had more time there. My Mom especially like the fire place. Seats near the fireplace
Beautiful setting. A lovely, homely house. Floorboards very noisy.
Friendly Staff. Lovely location and grounds When I booked I believed that was staying in the main hotel building. However we found ourselves in basically a modern terraced house - with no kitchen! This little complex was in fact a motel. Unfortunately we stayed on a Friday and Saturday evening that had weddings on both days, thus the bar area during each evening was full of wedding guests - no place for a pre or after dinner drink.
We were given an 2 bedroom apartment for the same price as our family room, which we had found to be very small. This was very good value and a pleasant stay. We stayed 2 nights to visit with family in Castleconnell. We had supper in the bar and it and the breakfasts were very good. The decor is very nice and the gardens and location lovely. Our 3 person family room was very small and not terribly exciting decor. Perhaps the rooms are ready for a redecoration soon.
enjoyed the hotel
Stayed in the Shannon Suite at the single persons rate. The room was amazing. Very big with huge bed and lots of period furniture. Bathroom was complete with Whirlpool bath - very relaxing. Huge Cobweb on door frame going into bathroom, and the television reception was very poor.
The accomodations were spacious and very comfortable. Breakfast was plentiful. Nothing
This our 5th time staying at your hotel, it is special to us. It is like coming home. It is friendly, comfortable, the staff are great and we will be back. N/A
