The resort is fantastic with a number of restaurants to select from. The food is very well labeled for those with allergies. This is a major issue for my wife when travelling and Kurumba made it very clear what she could and couldn't eat. Everything is extremely expensive, which is pretty standard for the Maldives, but Kurumba was on the expensive side.
Overall we enjoyed the facilities of your hotel. We have liked most the location of the hotel especially as its near the airport. The overall service of your staff is excellent, especially Ms.Sabi is very cooperative. None.
Kurumba is breathtaking. the facilities are excellent and the construction is beautiful. the wash rooms are superb and the facilities in the room and for the beach are very good, bed linen is clean. handling of guests was very efficient. overall it is amazing. I would love to revisit. Liquor is expensive and snacks were stale.
The staff of the hotel were friendly and willing to help and offer assistance. The food was good especially the tuna The cleaning staff did not do a good job. They do not clean very well
Everything is pleasant like most Maldives' hotels, short of special features and surprising touches. Their water and sand are the gift from god. Food is below expectation with cheap ingredients used and you have no choice but to pay high price for them.
Location, amazing setup and great customer service Things are bit over priced...
The location and facilities are nice. But service is awful! The restaurant service was a headache, from breakfast(without buffet) up to dinner, every single meal we had problems! But the worst part is the managers who we had to del with afterwards....Instead of helping they where very rude and unpolite, they don't care about ours complains. Is they lowest service that i've ever seen in a hotel/hostel...not ven in a 1* !!!
A very nice resort with comfort and luxury. Excellent beaches and fcilities. Nice rooms and good restaurants.
The white sandy beach and the spacious and private island resort. We would love to visit again in the future. Being honeymoon couple, they had offered a bottle of wine and a basket of fruit on complementary basis which we did not receive. They were asking for our Marriage certificate and proof that we were married to receive these complementary items. please make sure what all you get and what all you dont before you reach this place.
The location is beautiful The Maldives is beautiful but I have to say that policies and staff could use some adjustments. They would not let us check in early and the hotel was not full at all. We went to the hotel restaurant and they called to tell us the rooms were ready but would not bring the keys to us. Little things that make a hotel great.
The room was huge and very nice. The entire resort is on a private island, with a beautiful beach. The food at the restaraunts was very good. The only way to get there is via a boat ride which costs $77 per person round trip.
nothing Room cleanliness was very bad..there were ants in bathroom
It was a very relaxing atmosphere. Seaside and coral reaf around Bandos is very nice. Very good gim, food and nice cocktails. It was a bit long while waiting for a serving of tea or coffee during the breakfast. It would be better to have a coffee & tea station as a part of buffet, so that guests coul´d take drinks by themselfs.
This hotel thought about everything you would ever want staying at a resort and was phenomenal when it came to spoiling us as a young couple on a honeymoon. Great romantic settings (dinner in the middle of the ocean is worth the $1100). Clean waters, lagoon villas are clean and well designed for comfort. Very friends staff and accommodating. Spa was also a wonderfully relaxing experience! Just 1 downside. We saw one strand of seaweed in the clear waters lol
Loved the rooms. We stayed in Overwater Bungalow. Cozy and comfortable. Loved everything about it: Bed, Sofa, Terrace, Bathroom, amenities, access to the water. Amazing place! The service is ridiculous in the best sense. People are extremely friendly, always willing to assist and help with just about any request. Staff really elevates the experience. Some will even have those small spontaneous details that make the experience memorable. Loved the Thai Restaurant. It was the only restaurant we went to twice during our stay. It is just fantastic, both the food as well as the service. Beaches are just beautiful. Real paradise. I believe the hotel offers an exceptional service, so it is good value for the money. Transfer from the airport is one of the cheapest you will find in most high-end resorts in Maldives as well. We hope we can return in the future for wedding anniversary or similar. I think the positives outweigh the negatives. Food and drinks are pricey, no doubt. Can this be changed? Maybe not. Extras can be pricey too, especially massages. I took a beginners surfing session and if you make it an hourly rate, for general public 100$/hr surfing session, including an awesome ride to the surf break on a nice boat may seem too expensive. I think it is not that expensive (not really a negative point, but something they could improve and get more clients if prices went down a bit). Surfing (or just trying) is just a lot of fun. Now, 200+ $ for 1hr massage session, this I think is too expensive. Other extras were just too outrageous I don't even remember the numbers (swimming with whale shark, charged as a trip to the moon). And lastly, I think prices should be listed with the 10% service + 12% GST already included (this applies to everything: food, beverages, activities).
i like the water banglows and the coffee shop , also i like going every day to the near island it take 3 min only all day free trip . i do not like checkout time at 12:00 and my flight time 19:00 and wait at the resort .
it was great experience, I like the beach and Thai restuarant. Also pretty fun experience for scruba diving... :)
The overall beauty -- white sand beaches, the ocean experience, the unique crystal -clear aquamarine quality of the Indian Ocean at the ideal location of Maldives, an incredibly amazing spa experience, the scuba-diving, the Dolphin, champagne and sunset cruises on speedboat, the restaurants, the food, the ambiance and the courtesy and friendliness of the staff.
The hotel was wonderful in everything. The room rates are too high
The place is awesome and the staffs of anatara are very friendly and helpful. The food is excellant.
i was expecting better quality of food
A paradise on earth. If you want a complete detach from the crazy world go there with whom you love. The staff is taking loving care of you. The bungalow (we had sunrise beachfront villa, the most inexpensively) is a dream. You will be happy, feel peace and harmony. It was marvelous. The food in á la carte restaurants was not always on the level of five stars. The buffets were excellent.
Everything was perfect!
Staff is the friendliest I have seen, location and the room was excellent. During booking I provided my flight details and when the staff collected the luggage at the airport, they put a tag on my luggage and I can see my room number on it. However, when I reached the place it took them approximately 30-45 minutes to make up the room. Each minute was like a year, as I was travelling with 2 small kids after a long and tiresome journey.
The scenery was heavenly. The staff were supurb. We liked everything
The activities. Dive center. Over water pool villa. Beautiful lagoon. Kids club. Free lunch for kids at the pool. The main pool area. Nanny service. Perfect family resort. Service was inconsistent and slow at times. Also Buggy service was slow or unavailable a few times. Food quality can be improved especially for that price. Cocktails at Aqua bar not the quality I expected. Very slow Wifi...enough for emails and browsing but if you're a heavy social media user then better to get a sim card from the airport at arrival.
