Pros: A super stay - I was travelling by bicycle and after a long 140 km day a beer awaited my arrival. My host very kindly gave me a lift to a nearby restaurant in the evening and arranged for the restaurant to bring me back. Then this morning after a yummy breakfast I was sent on my way with a packed lunch - outstanding service and kindness.
Pros: Good breakfast lots of choice.
Cons: Room was stuffy, room needs a Fan to circulate air, B&B was a little out of the way for where I wanted to go but host gave me a lift, would have liked somewhere nearer but couldn't find anything.

Pros: friendly and helpful staff comfortable room excellent evening meal and breakfast
Pros: Staff friendly and very helpful
Cons: Room right above restaurant and very noisy
Pros: The restaurant was excellent both in the evwning and for breakfast and the kids loved the food and ate huge amounts. The room was perfect for our family of 6 and we all had a great nights sleep
Pros: I arrived late at night. Staff were so accommodating. There was no lift in the property so the team carried my very heavy luggage up to the room. The restaurant had closed by the time I reached the property but they still made me welcome and allowed me to order. Breakfast was arranged for later in the morning but the staff came in early to accommodate me as I needed to be at work early. Staff cannot do enough for you. Food in restaurant amazing. Spanish menu. I eat in a lot of hotels as I travel a lot for work. The food here cannot be faulted . Large portions, big selection on the menu and well cooked. Well done to all of the staff at this hotel. Hidden gem I will definitely sray again when I work in this area.
Cons: Room was cold when I got in but I turned up heating but it took a while to warm up the room.

Pros: Excellent host and relaxing accommodation

Located in Borger, Restaurant Hotel Bieze is within a 15-minute walk of Hunebed D27 and Hunebedcentrum. The front desk is staffed during limited hours. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Nice little village (Borger) but the real bonus is the Hunebed Centrum, a small and modernized museum about the oldest inhabitants of Holland (and Western Europe for that matter). Fascinating. I had to give a lecture (business) but took the opportunity to take my wife along for leisure. And visit the museum and Geopark (Unesco site). The hotel Bieze was just what we needed: nice and modern, excellent service and friendly staff, and a good dinner as a bonus.
Pros: Everything was perfect, big comfortable bed, spacious room and bathroom, very clean, restaurant and lounge areas very nice, breakfast was great (too much really, took some for lunch). It's really a 5 star hotel disguised as a 3 star. Apparently they need a 24 hour receptionist to increase their rating, which is not viable in winter.
Cons: Only difficulty was dragging our big heavy bag through the pebbles in the parking lot.
Pros: Very clean room, staff were very polite and very helpful.
Pros: Super friendly staff - very good service. Very nice design of the rooms - tasteful and relaxing.
Cons: Bed was a Little to soft Breakfast was to expensive, when we did not have any warm food as, scrambled eggs and bacon. Only one hard boiled egg and some bread. This was not like the high standard in the restaurant in the evening.
Pros: Good service friendly staff good hospitality Good food
Cons: Finding the language difficult but staff made us feel welcome
Pros: The room was surprisingly large, modern and fresh. Liked it a lot. Nice bath room. The hotel is in the centre of the village and all the facilities are close by.
Cons: Arrival after 10 at the hotel and walking up to the room is a bit dark. All lights are dimmed and it looks and feels a bit lonely. There is nothing you can buy from a bar or even a vending machine.
Pros: Warm welcome. Great bistro, nice area to sit in the sun, out of the wind. Good food! Comfortable bed. Wonderful staff, quick resolution to small problem.
Pros: Great location good size room for a family and very good breakfast
Cons: They don’t have aircon and I honestly forgot that some hotels still don’t have air conditioning. BUT you’d think they’d at least have fans for very hot weather. It was 36 c no fans (they would only give what fans they had to upstairs rooms) I couldn’t open the window because of bugs and the smell of the hot souring trash. When we asked for ice they ran out. I understand that they don’t control the weather, but some of the staff was very unpleasant about our requests, as if asking about a fan and ice were unreasonable. She said “we don’t advertise aircon and don’t blame me for the heat.” You’d think a hotel would try and plan for these occasions. Even an offer of cold water till more ice was available would have been a better response. They never checked back or offered ice later. They handled the situation rudely with poor customer service.
Pros: Location right in the Centre of town. The room was very good.
Cons: Same breakfast for three days. No buffet so no choice. Only hard boiled egg. No cornflakes. No vegetables.
Cons: Parking an inconvenient distance from entrance. Staff could use training in customer service. Dinner in restaurant was good, but there was a nearly $2 charge for simple tap water. Walls were not adequate to keep loud conversation in neighboring room from disturbing us.

Pros: A big balcony!
Cons: Nothing particularly
Pros: Evening meal was very good.

Pros: Clean place. Simple but good breakfast. Pleasent staff
Located in Schoonloo, De Loohoeve - Restaurant & Hotel is within a 10-minute drive of Ellert en Brammert and Hunebed D27. The front desk is staffed during limited hours. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: The room was sufficient, not spectacular. No airco in showerpart. Excellent beds. Breakfast super!
Cons: Shower and toiletroom is pretty simple.
Pros: close parking.
Cons: no breakfast before 8 o'clock. Television the size of a pixel. The bathroom was really smelly, the stench entered the sleeping room. No tea or coffee machine or minibar
Pros: Friendly owners. Open for needs from the customers. Nice clean apartment.
Cons: There is'nt so much to do in Schoonloo :-)
Pros: Clean room with good bed
Cons: No black out curtains so in the summer you'll get awake very early!

Hotel Restaurant de Meulenhoek is surrounded by moors, forests and farms in the province of Drenthe. There is free Wi-Fi. De Meulenhoek has modern rooms with private facilities. Free parking is available on site. The cosy à la carte restaurant has an international menu. The terrace offers a pretty view and a quiet setting for a cup of coffee with home-made pastry. Apart from cycling and walking, guests can discover the famous stone tables and the zoo in Emmen. The city of Assen is nearby as well.
Pros: A bicycle shed with a lock is available. The staff was friendly.
Cons: When we arrived after a hot day, although outside it had cooled down, the attic room was still at 31 C, and cooled down very slowly due to having only two small windows. We had a very uncomfortably hot night. This hotel seems to be for people who talk little. Walking through the breakfast room, we were struck by the deafening silence there. Also, we got complaints from another guest because we talked in our room, on our balcony, and on the sidewalk in front of the hotel (!)
Pros: Friendly staff. We booked the whole hotel for an event and their cooperation and flexibility was above expectation
Pros: Great place, good food, clean and spacious room, friendly stuff, located close to shops and cafe's
Cons: Air conditioner wasn't working, was hot at night.
Pros: Very nice and tasty breakfast, helpful staff and the bike rental was perfect
Cons: Clearly a family establishment and while very friendly, not very professional
