The location is fantastic and the bar is great
We were there for pride so we knew it would be expensive. I’ve stayed before and had a lovely breakfast and room. However, this time we were given nothing more than bread and fruit for breakfast, expressly told they were not doing full breakfasts because it was pride!! Pride is a day when you defo need a full breakfast. They provided it on neither day. We had a twin room which was extremely cramped and they put plastic on the mattresses under the sheets which made sleeping incredibly hot and near on impossible. There was no air con. Our friends stayed at the grand for the exact same price in a beautifully air conditioned room with full breakfast. Whilst I cannot fault the location or staff, I would not stay in this hotel (more hostel) again.
location on the seafront
room was not serviced after 1st nights stay. no evening meals available. no cooked breakfast available, only continental breakfast served and was grossly overpriced..
Fantastic stay, great staff and location
Stayed for Brighton Pride weekend. Amazing central location for Pride street party, friendly staff and clean room. Great view from our sea view room on first floor, with balcony doors that open. Comfy bed and a breakfast included with our room. Easily arranged a later checkout on our last morning.
Room above the bar is unsurprisingly a little loud over the weekend, but not a problem if you’re there to go out and by the time we went to bed it was quiet. Ask for a room at the back or second floor if you want a quieter stay. earplugs were provided!
Very comfortable bed, great view, nice big shower.
WiFi did not reach my room. Room smaller than expected. Was told breakfast was £6 but charged £6.50 in the morning. Room could be cleaned better - I found lots of dusty spots.
